Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) type 2 is rapidly becoming one of the world's most common non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and one of the most frightening problems in public health. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus must be able to manage their disease independently to control blood glucose and prevent complications. Community empowerment and social engineering can be done by nurses through remote communication with patients via telenursing. Identifying the Effect of Telenursing on Self-Care Management and Quality of Life for Members of the Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS) with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Using the pre-experiment design method with one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 45 respondents, 15 male respondents and 30 female respondents, taking the sample using accidental sampling. Data collection using the Summary of Diabetes Self Care Activities (SDSCA) and Diabetes Quality of Life (DQOL) instruments the test used is the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. All manuscripts must contain an abstract, which summarizes the purposes of the work, the methods, the most significant results, and the conclusions. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, with a 95% confidence level p-value (0.001). There is an effect of telenursing therapy on improving the quality of life of PROLANIS members with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is hoped that respondents and elders can improve self-care management and quality of life through the stages of Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME), which can be carried out daily under health workers’ guidance through telenursing or family.

COVID-19 has become a world pandemic that poses various risks throughout the world such as an increase in the number of patients and the risk of disease development in the world health system, especially nursing. The WHO reports that technology has a growing role in education and good work practice. Telenursing is well defined as the application of telecommunications and information technology to provide remote nursing practice. Purpose: This study aimed to examine the process of establishing a telenursing service for COVID-19. Methods: Three databases”PubMed, Google Scholar, and Research Gate”were used to find research publications. English-language keywords included in the literature search are telenursing OR tele-nursing and Covid-19, with the inclusion of works from 2019 to 2021. Results: Five studies that matched the inclusion criteria and the goals of this literature review were examined from a total of 936 research articles. Following the critical evaluation of five articles, a simplified thematic analysis was performed. This research review's main finding was that non-contact counseling services, instruction, and nursing care are important. Conclusion: Application of the telenursing program improved information technology and enabled the delivery of nursing care remotely. As an additional treatment option for patients with COVID-19, other remote self-care instruction techniques may be applied.

Methods: This type of research is a quantitative research using a Cross sectional design. The sample used in this research was 68 respondents, with the data collection technique used was accidental sampling. The questionnaire used was in the form of the Hypertension Self Management Behavior Quetionnair (HSMBQ) and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires with the data analysis used being a bivariate analysis, namely the Chi-Square test. Results: based on the results of the study, it was found that the majority of self-managemet respondents in the poor category were 28 people (41.2%). the majority of respondents' quality of life in the poor category were 25 respondents (36.8). based on the results of testing with the Chi-Square test, it was found that there was a relationship between self-managemet and quality of life, the p value = <0.001 <0.05.

Monitoring symptoms and managing symptoms when they arise in patients with chronic diseases, including heart failure. This study aimed to explore knowledge and innovations that can be applied to Self-care with heart failure. The research method uses a systematic literature review. Research articles were obtained from three databases, namely Proquest, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Literature searches using keywords (in English), namely knowledge and practice, self-care, and heart failure, with Primary articles. The inclusion criteria used are articles from 2019-2023 in English. Primary articles, full text, and research subjects of patients with heart failure were reviewed from 1390 articles in eleven that met all criteria. Then, it was analyzed using simplified thematic analysis. The results show the themes that emerged from this literature review were the critical domain of self-care, the excellent impact of compliance, and monitoring innovations needed to reduce complications. Apart from that, telemonitoring is an outstanding innovation. The conclusion is that self-care for heart failure patients improves their quality of life and reduces complications.
