Abstract

Furniture Rotan Indonesia merupakan salah satu komoditas alami yang telah diperdagangkan sejak lama. Sebagai salah satu kekayaan alam, furniture rotan memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indoensia. Tercatat selama sebelas tahun terakhir, produk , furniture rotan merupakan komoditas utama dari ekspor Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya saing furniture rotan Indonesia ke negara-negara pengimpor Eropa terbesarnya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data deret waktu tahunan yakni dari 2007-2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui uji daya saing dengan pendekatan Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) dan Revealed Symetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) digunakan untuk menganalisis daya saing furniture rotan Indonesia ke negara-negara importir Eropa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia memiliki daya saing kuat di negara pengimpor Eropa, terutama di pasar furniture rotan negara Inggris dan Italia yang memiliki daya saing lebih tinggi dibanding pasar lainnya yaitu dengan nilai RCA sebesar 141,01 dan 100,95. Hal tersebut menjadikan keduanya sebagai opsi utama pangsa ekspor furniture rotan Indonesia di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

URBAN FARMING FOR THE MILLENIAL GENERATION OF THE YOUTH ORGANİZATİON, DUSUN WALANG SUKOHARJO. Currently, the motivation and interest of the younger generation in agricultural activities is relatively low, from BPS data, 11% of the younger generation are involved in agricultural activities. The purpose of community service activities is to provide an introduction to urban farming that targets the millennial generation, in this case members of the youth organization, so as to increase the motivation and interest of the millennial generation in the agricultural sector through interesting agricultural activities. The method is carried out through several stages of activity, namely Phase I, counseling and delivering material on the concept of urban farming and managing household waste into liquid fertilizer, compost and organic growing media. Phase II, Submission of Verticulture Concept Materials for Anticipating Narrow and Limited Land in Urban Areas. Phase III, Introduction & Practice of Urban Farming Implementation Evaluation of activities using the pretest, posttest and practice assessment methods. The evaluation results show that 93% of partners are involved in this activity and provide an increase in the understanding of the partner community by 85%, where the value of the initial understanding of partner activities towards urban farming cultivation is 54%, then after the activity the value of understanding is 100%.

Abstract

Hydroponics is an alternative to plant cultivation due to limited land ownership by farmers. The results of hydroponic plants have many benefits desired by consumers such as product quality, taste and color as well as guarantees of hygiene. The Solo area has a hydroponic community, namely the Greater Solo Hydroponic Community (Kohisora). The resulting product is fresh vegetables which are sold through a variety of ways and marketing distribution channels. This study aims to determine the efficiency and marketing channels of vegetables in the Kohisora hydroponic community. The data used is primary data. The sample used in this study was 45 people consisting of 15 hydroponic vegetable producers of Kohisora who had sold their products through various marketing channels, 5 traders and 25 consumers who bought hydroponic vegetables. Data analysis uses marketing margin and marketing channel analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that the marketing channel for Kohisora vegetable products is still efficient. It is recorded that the marketing efficiency rate that occurs in vegetable shops/kiosks is still below 50%. Each of the marketing efficiency figures for each type of vegetables starting from mustard greens, lettuce and pakcoy in vegetable shops/kiosks has an indicator value of 18.1%; 16.6%, and 25%. This is the same as the marketing channels that occur in supermarkets which are still relatively efficient. Each marketing efficiency score for each type of vegetable starting from mustard greens, lettuce and pakcoy in vegetable stores/kiosks has an indicator value of 25%; 28.5% and 31.8%.Hidroponik menjadi salah satu alternatif budidaya tanaman akibat keterbatasan kepemilikan lahan petani. Hasil tanaman hidroponik memiliki banyak manfaat yang diinginkan oleh konsumen seperti mutu produk, rasa, dan warna serta jaminan higienitas. Wilayah Solo memiliki komunitas hidroponik yaitu Komunitas Hidroponik Solo Raya (Kohisora). Produk yang dihasilkan adalah sayuran segar yang dijual melalui berbagai macam cara dan saluran distribusi pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efisiensi dan saluran pemasaran sayuran di komunitas hidroponik Kohisora. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian sejumlah 45 orang terdiri dari  15 produsen sayuran hidroponik Kohisora yang pernah melakukan penjualan produk melaui berbagai macam saluran pemasaran, 5 pedagang dan 25 orang konsumen yang membeli sayuran hidroponik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis margin pemasaran dan saluran pemasaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa saluran pemasaran produk sayuran Kohisora masih efisien. Tercatat angka efisiensi pemasaran yang terjadi di toko/kios sayuran masih di bawah 50%. Masing-masing angka efisiensi pemasaran pada setiap jenis sayuran dimulai dari sawi, selada dan pakcoy di toko/kios sayur memiliki indikator nilai 18,1% ; 16,6%, dan 25%. Hal ini sama dengan saluran pemasaran yang terjadi di supermarket yang masih terbilang efisien. Masing-masing angka efisiensi pemasaran pada setiap jenis sayuran dimulai dari sawi, selada dan pakcoy di toko/kios sayur memiliki indikator nilai 25% ; 28,5% dan 31,8%.

Abstract

Gapoktan merupakan kelembagaan di tingkat petani yang perlu dibentuk karena tuntutan modernisasi kelembagaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas kemampuan Gapoktan dalam upaya Optimalisasi Pengolahan Lahan Pertanian di Desa Gunting Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Gapoktan “Makmur Rejeki Warata” Desa Gunting Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Klaten. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan riset etnografi. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Metode analisis data yang digunkan adalah analisis kemampuan gapoktan melalui pendekatan aspek manajemen dan aspek kepemimpinan menggunakan skala likert yang diintervalkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan gapoktan berada pada kelas lanjut untuk indikator pelaksanaan kegiatan dan pengembangan gapoktan. Kemampuan gapoktan berada pada kelas madya untuk indikator perencanaan program, pengorganisasian , pengendalian dan pelaporan.

Abstract

Used cooking oil is an oil that has been used repeatedly. This used cooking oil waste is harmful to health and is one of the sources of environmental pollution. The partners of this activity are students of SMAN 1 Pracimantoro Wonogiri. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and understanding of the impact of the use and disposal of used cooking oil, provide information and knowledge about products that can be produced from used cooking oil waste, namely aroma therapy candles, and improve soft skills by making aroma therapy candles. The methods used are counseling and training. The form of activities is in the form of counseling and training. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations and exercises. Participants first listened to the material delivered by the community service team, then were trained to make aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil waste. The response of the participants to this activity was positive, this was shown by the enthusiasm of the participants in the discussion during the counseling. The result of the activity was an increase in knowledge about  the dangers of using used cooking oil, environmental pollution, and skills in making products from used cooking oil waste management in the form of aromatherapy candles by 12.2%

Abstract

The Surakarta City Government faces many obstacles in implementing the waste management system, especially household waste. These problems include waste management sites that are no longer able to accommodate waste (overload), low public awareness of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), weak sanitation management institutions and human resource capabilities. This research was conducted to determine the basic knowledge of the Surakarta City community regarding household waste management so that it can become a benchmark for waste handling in the future. The method used is descriptive and analytical and the respondents are 100 residents from five districts in Surakarta City. Data was collected through interviews with a questionnaire guide, observation, and recording, followed by analysis using descriptive statistics. The readiness level of 59.8% indicates that the people in Surakarta are ready to adapt to the conditions needed to achieve Knowledge Management readiness in household-scale composting. Counseling to improve waste processing skills for Surakarta residents can be carried out as an option to reduce waste from the main source of waste engagement.

Abstract

Competition in processed food products, particularly packaged spice seasonings, has intensified alongside increasing consumer demand for practical, safe, and high-quality products. In relatively homogeneous markets, product attributes play an important role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of product attributes on purchasing decisions for Ladaku Pepper Powder in Surakarta City. The product attributes examined include product quality, price, brand, packaging, quality assurance, and halal assurance. The study was conducted purposively in Surakarta City using a non-probability sampling technique with an accidental sampling approach. A total of 100 respondents were involved, meeting the following criteria: a minimum age of 17 years, having purchased Ladaku Pepper Powder at least twice, and residing in Surakarta City. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that all product attributes have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Ladaku Pepper Powder simultaneously. Partially, product quality, brand, quality assurance, and halal assurance have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, while price and packaging do not have a significant effect. Product quality is identified as the most dominant attribute influencing purchasing decisions.
