Abstract

This research delineates the significant role of Posyandu in improving toddler health in Kotasari Hamlet, Kalensari Village. Through structured monthly activities, Posyandu effectively monitors the development of 12 toddlers consistently. Despite occasional attendance surpassing expectations, the study concludes that Posyandu holds a pivotal role in enhancing toddler health. Routine activities, including registration, data collection, weight measurement, height assessment, and growth recording in the KMS book, are consistently conducted. Posyandu also provides immunizations, health education, and basic care for pregnant women. Collaboration with local health centers and non-governmental organizations expands access to healthcare, including training healthcare personnel and procuring medical equipment. The primary focus on toddler health involves providing nutrition, immunizations, and growth monitoring. The holistic nutrition education program and timely immunizations serve as significant preventive measures. Regular monitoring, including weight measurements, height assessments, and growth data recording, forms the basis for early identification of health issues. Consequently, Posyandu in Kotasari Hamlet is not just a physical health center but also a platform for education and stimulation of child development, supporting optimal health and growth for toddlers in the region. The method applied in this community service program is socialization, aimed at delving deeper through a participatory and interactive approach. This socialization method encompasses various educational activities, community meetings, and the utilization of information technology as an effective means of conveying information to the public.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an essential sector in Indonesia’s economy, contributing to economic growth, job creation, and income distribution. However, many MSMEs are still unable to utilize digital technology, including Google Maps, as a promotional medium. One such example is the Mie Ayam Nok Bellen MSME in Bugis Village, which lacks knowledge of digital marketing, making its business location difficult for new customers to find. This community service activity aims to provide a strategic solution through assistance in creating a Google Maps business profile as a promotional tool and source of business information. Using a participatory approach, the community service team in Bugis Village was directly involved in the creation process, including completing business information, verifying the location, and uploading product and store photos. The results show that the MSME gained improved digital visibility, easier location access for customers, and expanded market potential. The impact of the assistance is reflected in the increased ease of customer navigation and the availability of more public information about the business, helping Mie Ayam Nok Bellen strengthen its competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Low financial literacy among elementary school students affects their understanding of the value of money, financial management, and the importance of saving from an early age. This condition is evident among students at SDN 1 Bugis, where most children do not yet have an independent saving habit and tend to display consumptive behavior. This community service activity aims to enhance financial literacy and foster saving habits through interactive counseling sessions. The methods used include presentations, discussions, simple simulations on managing pocket money, and question–answer sessions. The activity was carried out on August 2, 2025, and involved all students from grades 1 to 6. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of basic financial concepts, the benefits of saving, and the development of a more positive attitude toward financial management. The program also succeeded in encouraging students to regularly set aside their pocket money as an initial step toward building responsible financial behavior. Thus, this activity contributes to strengthening financial literacy from an early age through enjoyable and practical educational approaches.

Abstract

Perundungan (bullying) merupakan masalah serius di lembaga pendidikan karena berdampak pada kesehatan mental, relasi sosial, dan prestasi akademik siswa. Menyikapi potensi perundungan di MTsN 5 Indramayu, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pencegahan proaktif. Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada 31 Juli 2025 ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dan guru mengenai bentuk-bentuk perundungan, dampak yang ditimbulkannya, serta strategi pencegahan dan penanganan yang efektif. Dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), penyuluhan dilakukan secara interaktif untuk mendorong partisipasi peserta dalam mengidentifikasi masalah dan merumuskan solusi. Materi mencakup definisi, jenis-jenis bullying, serta penguatan peran siswa sebagai upstander yang berani bertindak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dan perubahan persepsi dari menganggap bullying sebagai “candaan” menjadi tindakan yang harus ditolak. Umpan balik mengidentifikasi ejekan verbal dan pengucilan sebagai bentuk yang paling dominan, dengan hampir seluruh siswa pernah menjadi korban atau saksi. Antusiasme peserta dan komitmen sekolah untuk menindaklanjuti program melalui kebijakan anti-bullying menegaskan keberhasilan kegiatan. Secara keseluruhan, PKM ini berhasil membangun fondasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, inklusif, dan bebas kekerasan di MTsN 5 Indramayu.
