Abstract

Networking, di dunia pendidikan/persekolahan bisa diartikan sebagai upaya mengembangkan jaringan antar lembaga/organisasi dengan tujuan meningkatkan komunikasi serta kerjasama yang mendukung program pendidikan/persekolahan. Jaringan kerjasama ini memungkinkan terlaksananya berbagai kegiatan intra maupun ekstrakurikuler bagi peserta didik, termasuk terselenggarakannya kegiatan guru dan tenaga kependidikan, seperti pelatihan, gathering, maupun kegiatan apresiasi bagi civitas akademika. Networking memerlukan tidak hanya ketrampilan halus (soft-skill) berupa kepiawaian berkomunikasi, membangun hubungan, mengembangkan ide/gagasan, tetapi juga ketrampilan kasar (hard-skill) terutama dalam hal menyusun persuratan, dokumen kerjasama, mengelola file, pembuatan disain poster/flyer atau bentuk promosi lain, bahkan merancang dan mengatur acara termasuk tata ruang berikut table manner-nya. Karakter yang dituntut mengiringi upaya membangun kerjasama ini adalah kepercayaan diri, self-efficacy, empati, kejujuran, keterbukaan, dan karakter positif secara umum. Jaringan kerjasama dan komunikasi yang luas dan beragam memberi peluang munculnya variasi program serta bentuk kegiatan yang membantu stake holder sekolah menjalankan konsep merdeka belajar dengan peserta didik menjadi focus dalam pencapaian tujuan kegiatan yaitu terciptanya students-wellbeing. Networking yang dikelola dan dimaintain dengan apik akan sangat berdampak pada pengembangan profil sekolah, termasuk peserta didik maupun tenaga kependidikannya. Tentu saja upaya memperbanyak jejaring ini berpotensi besar menjadi supportive-partner bagi terwujudnya sekolah sebagai tempat persemaian profil Pelajar Pancasila sekaligus memberi ruang bagi kemerdekaan belajar bagi para siswa. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan pengalaman penulis menjadi wakil kepala sekolah bidang humas dan kerjasama di SMAN 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan dari tahun 2016 hingga 2022, dan perjalanan karier penulis di berbagai sekolah/pesantren yang menggiring penulis mengembangkan diri dalam memainkan peran kehumasan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan wawancara dengan berbagai sumber.

Abstract

In 2020, the World Bank conducted a Service Delivery Indicator (SDI) survey to measure the performance and quality of education services. The survey was conducted in 263 schools under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) and 87 elementary schools under the Ministry of Education and Culture. One of the results was the high level of teacher absenteeism in the basic education system in Indonesia, with almost one in four teachers (23.5 percent) absent from class on a given day. Most of these absences were officially permitted, indicating that the education management system needs to be improved. Human Resource Management (HR) in Islamic education has a strategic role in improving the quality of Islamic Educational Institutions (LPI). By referring to various theories of HR management, competence, performance, and professionalism, this study aims to analyze effective HR management strategies that can improve the quality of HR so that education services are also of high quality. Through a qualitative approach, data obtained from the analysis of various literatures, this study identifies various strategies that can be applied to achieve these goals. The results of the study indicate that training, development, and performance evaluation are key elements in effective HR management, in addition to the need for HR planning, compensation and rewards. It was also found that a holistic approach based on Islam can improve the effectiveness of human resource management in education, thus having a positive impact on the quality of educators (Ilhamsyah, 2024). This study also identified research gaps and novelties in the development of human resource management in Islamic educational institutions. Recommendations are given to stakeholders to develop more comprehensive policies in the management of Islamic educational human resources.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character, spiritual depth, and social competence. At the macro level, it is integrated into national policy frameworks, the formal education system, and broader challenges posed by globalization and modernization. At the micro level, Islamic education is realized through everyday practices within educational institutions, notably in pesantren. This study explores the implementation of Islamic education in the micro context of Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Ulujami, South Jakarta, focusing on classroom learning, social interaction, and students’ daily life activities. Employing a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The study identifies five key themes: the alignment between national and local visions, the presence of transformational leadership, active community involvement, managerial innovation, and limitations in human resource capacity. The findings also highlight major challenges such as imbalanced curricula and organizational resistance to change. Nevertheless, the pesantren adopts effective strategies including continuous professional development, contextual curriculum development, and alumni engagement to strengthen institutional resilience. The study underscores the significance of integrating macro policy with micro-level implementation to build an adaptive, sustainable, and contextually relevant model of Islamic education that addresses both national goals and local realities.
