Abstract

Sorogan and Bandongan learning methods that characterize learning methods in Islamic boarding schools are applied in formal institutions, especially at the Elementary School level. SD NU Banat Banin Lamongan has implemented the boarding school learning system in teaching and learning activities on Islamic Education subjects in the classroom. The results showed that the background of the implementation of the Sorogan and Bandongan learning methods in teaching of Islamic Religious Education subjects at SD NU Banat Banin Lamongan was to put more emphasis on student understanding, in addition, the application of the Sorogan and Bandongan learning methods was also very simple, so that all children students are expected to be able to understand the material quickly. In the process of implementation, it is carried out in three stages. The first is the preparation stage. The teacher always checks the readiness of his students. The second is the implementation phase. For the Sorogan method, students who get their turn to read, are told to go forward and sit facing the teacher, then read the reading text prepared in the last week. For the Bandongan method, the teacher reads and translates the reading text contained in the textbook. And the third stage is the closing stage. The teacher will give an explanation of the material that has been read and translated. Based on the results of the research, in implementing the Sorogan and Bandongan learning methods, it should be improved and improved in all activities and learning.

Abstract

Optimizing customer service for the number of drivers in an area through real-time transportation service industry online to scale up. In this paper, the dataset used is traffic management accompanied by attributes such as level 6 geohash, day, timestamp, and demand. The dataset used is a sample from geohash6 coded qp0991, containing online transportation demands from 01/04/2018 until 31/05/2018 (61 days). The training datasets are from the qp0991 code sample, starting from 01/04/2018 until 10/05/2018 and the remaining datasets are used as the testing datasets. The percentages for training and testing are respectively 67% and 33%. The methods applied to construct the objective function are three different forecasting methods, namely the Naïve approach, auto-regressive integrated moving average (ARIMA), and simple exponential smoothing. The results of this study indicate that the simple exponential smoothing method is better than the naïve approach and auto-regressive integrated moving average based on the root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). The simple exponential smoothing has an accuracy rate of 98.7% for the RMSE value, 98.9% for the MAE value, and 88.81% for the MAPE value. Keywords: time series, traffic management

Abstract

This research aims to determine the creative thinking ability of students in arranging and solving contextual problems on arithmetic sequence. This research is a descriptive quantitative study through a Lesson Study framework with a subject of 18 students of the Mathematics Education study program at the Islamic University of Lamongan. The instruments in this study include attitude assessment sheets used to measure student activity in participating in learning and Student Worksheets used to measure students' creative thinking ability in arranging and solving contextual problems on arithmetic sequences. The results of the analysis show that the average score of student activities during learning is 85.13% while the average score of students' creative thinking ability is 71.875% in the Enough category.

Abstract

The domination number of graph  is the smallest cardinality of the domination set of graph G. A subset of a vertex set S of G is called the domination set if every element of  dominates every vertex of G, meaning that every vertex of G that is not an element of S is connected and one distance from S. The domination number has become interesting research studies on several graphs k -connected such as circulant graphs, grids, and wheels. This study aims to determine domination number of the other k-connected graph is Harary graph. The method used pattern detection and axiomatic deduction. The obtained results are new lemmas and theorems. The discussion obtained challenges new patterns of the smallest of domination number of Harary Graph, especially shape H_2,n, H_4,n, H_k,n and  for every n vertices, k even integer, and k<n.

Abstract

This research was conducted on 8th class students of Junior High School 1 Sugio on the material of a system of two-variable linear equations by applying a problem-based learning model with the aim of knowing the effect of problem-based learning on students' critical thinking skills. This study is a quantitative research. The data obtained in this study were from tests taking 8A and 8B samples. The data analysis technique used are the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. In the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis test decision making criteria it is said that if the Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then it is accepted. In this study Sig. (2-tailed) less than 0.05 (0.017 < 0.05). So the hypothesis test is accepted. So it can be concluded that using a problem-based learning model can influence the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations.

Abstract

Menulis artikel ilmiah merupakan salah satu cara pengembangan profesi guru, oleh karena itu kemampuan menulis artikel sangat diperlukan bagi guru. Namun, kemampuan guru di SMK Labschool Unesa 1 Surabaya dalam menulis artikel masih sangat rendah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka diadakan pelatihan penulisan artikel yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan atau berbagi ilmu dalam menulis artikel yang berkualitas dan relevan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel dilaksanakan di SMK Labschool Unesa 1 Surabaya dan diikuti oleh 40 peserta. Kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel dibagi menjadi tiga sesi. Sesi satu yaitu menulis judul, baris, kepemilikan, abstrak, kata kunci, pendahuluan, pendekatan, dan metode yang baik. Sesi kedua yaitu pemaparan mengenai hasil pembahasan dan simpulan dan sesi ketiga mengenai etika publikasi. Ketiga materi disajikan dengan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, dengan durasi masing-masing sesi 90 menit. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel di SMK Labschool Unesa 1 Surabaya disimpulkan berhasil, ditunjukkan oleh hasil kuisioner dan hasil kuis peserta pelatihan. Dari hasil kuisioner diperoleh rata-rata skor aspek materi adalah 92,75%, aspek narasumber diperoleh rata-rata 93,75%, dan aspek suasana pelatihan diperoleh rata-rata 95,88%. Dari hasil kuis diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 86,25%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran matematika digital berbasis kearifan lokal permainan dakon untuk meningkatkan penalaran siswa. Media pembelajaran ini mengangkat budaya tradisonal dakon agar siswa mengenal salah satu permainan tradisional di Indonesia. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 10 siswa sekolah menengah atas dengan sampel berjumlah 30 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest and posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan awal (pretest) dan tes kemampuan akhir (posttest) tentang kemampuan bernalar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran digital dakon efektif untuk meningkatkan penalaran siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji t ditunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) artinya penggunaan media pembelajaran matematika digital berbasis kearifan lokal permainan dakon efektif untuk meningkatkan penalaran siswa.Selain itu, rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan sebesar 35,7 setelah diberikan treatment menggunakan media pembelajaran matematika digital berbasis kearifan lokal permainan dakon. Oleh karena itu, dalam pembelajaran sebaiknya menggunakan media pembelajaran yang relevan agar siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya.

Abstract

Seaweed production often experiences fluctuations, with one of the recurring challenges faced by farmers being the suboptimal utilization of available production factors, which in turn impacts production output. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of technical efficiency and the technology gap in seaweed production across three districts in East Java: Sumenep, Banyuwangi, and Situbondo. This research utilizes primary data in a cross-sectional format during the 2023/2024 seaweed cultivation season in the aforementioned districts. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data on the inputs and outputs used in production. The Meta-Frontier Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method was applied to measure the technical efficiency of seaweed production in each research area. Based on the results of the technical efficiency analysis, the areas with efficiency scores of 1 (fully efficient) were as follows: Sumenep District (63.33%), Banyuwangi District (40%), and Situbondo District (23.33%). More than 50% of the Decision-Making Units (DMUs) in Sumenep have achieved perfect efficiency (TE = 1), whereas the other two districts have not reached 50% efficiency among their DMUs. Furthermore, the average technical efficiency across the DMUs in the three study locations is 85.3%, indicating that these DMUs can still improve their technical efficiency by up to 14.7%. The average Total Gap Ratio (TGR) shows low variability, although differences still exist. This suggests that the three study areas implement varying production practices, methods, and have different resource availability. However, Banyuwangi District has the highest TGR value among the three study locations, approaching the threshold of 1. This indicates a relatively low technology gap in this area.

Abstract

Dalam Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep geometri transformasi pada peserta didik, hal ini membutuhkan inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah yang didukung GeoGebra guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan ADDIE dengan subjek peserta didik kelas XI dan XII di MA Matholi'ul Anwar. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket respons peserta didik, pretest, posttest, dan ob-servasi. Hasil validasi modul menunjukkan bahwa modul sangat valid dengan skor 3,68, dan respons peserta didik menunjukkan kepuasan tinggi (89,77% untuk kelas A dan 94,38% untuk kelas B). Analisis N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep yang signifikan dengan nilai N-Gain 0,72 untuk kelas A dan 0,71 untuk kelas B. Kes-impulannya, modul berbasis GeoGebra efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi ge-ometri transformasi.
