Abstract

Misalkan G graf terhubung dengan V(G) himpunan simpul v pada graf G, himpunan sisi E(G) dan S⊆V(G) dengan simpul v∈V(G), jarak antara v dan S adalah d(v,S)=min{d(v,x)│x∈S}. Untuk himpunan terurut W = {w_1,w_2,…,w_k} dari simpul-simpul dalam G dan v pada V(G), representasi dari v terhadap W adalah k-vektor, dengan r(v│W)=(d(v,w_1),d(v,w_2),…,d(v,w_k)) untuk setiap v pada V(G) berbeda, maka W disebut himpunan pembeda dari G. Kardinalitas minimum dari suatu himpunan pembeda disebut dimensi metrik dari G dinotasikan dengan dim(G). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis dimensi metrik terhadap graf buku ganda (2B_n) dan graf buku ganda (2B_(n,m)). Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan diperoleh dimensi metrik graf buku ganda (2B_n) adalah 2(n-1), sedangkan dimensi metrik graf buku ganda (2B_(n,m)) adalah (n-1)+(m-1).

Abstract

This paper presents a dynamic model of smoking with optimal control. The mathematical model is divided into 5 sub-classes, namely, non-smokers, occasional smokers, active smokers, individuals who have temporarily stopped smoking, and individuals who have stopped smoking permanently. Four optimal controls, i.e., anti-smoking education campaign, anti-smoking gum, anti-nicotine drug, and government prohibition of smoking in public spaces are considered in the model. The existence of the controls is also presented. The Pontryagin maximum principle (PMP) was used to solve the optimal control problem. The fourth-order Runge-Kutta was employed to gain the numerical solutions.

Abstract

The use of optimal intervention strategies to prevent the spread of Nipah virus (NiV) by applying optimal control approaches is discussed in this article. To begin, we developed a dynamic model of NiV infection as well as three control strategies: public awareness, treatment, and quarantine. The study's goal was to lower the number of affected patients while lowering the three control costs. The Pontryagin maximum concept will be used to characterize optimal control, followed by numerical simulations using the Runge Kutta method of order 4. The simulation findings suggest that the optimal control technique is effective in reducing the appropriate cost of infected individuals while also providing three ideal controls. Early control measures can also effectively prevent the spread of the Nipah virus, according to numerical simulations

Abstract

The development of mathematical reasoning is part of an important process that needs to be taught to students, as reflected in teacher education. This study focuses on the education of prospective teachers of mathematics which aims to describe the knowledge of prospective teachers about students' mathematical reasoning processes. The subjects of this study were prospective mathematics teacher students who were selected by purposive sampling. The instruments used include math assignments and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and making conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the knowledge of the reasoning process carried out by prospective mathematics teachers is organized into 3 levels of knowledge in each reasoning process that appears, namely generalizing, justifying, classifying, and exemplifying. At the level of knowledge of the reasoning process, student teacher candidates still have difficulty in analyzing students' reasoning processes, using the meaning of terms in everyday life, and only considering the correct reasoning process. An important aspect of the reasoning process is developing knowledge by completing the means as a medium to understand the reasoning process in each student's learning.

Abstract

In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, technology is crucial. The use of technology can benefit businesses, particularly Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) by making it simpler for them to promote their goods and provide information about them. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of residents of Plosowahyu Village who are unable to effectively use technology. As a result, the author feels compelled to perform community service in order to help the residents of Plosowahyu Village understand the value of technology, and improve their ability to manage social media as a tool for promoting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and create graphic designs as a useful means of information sharing between hamlets and villages. The target of this socialization includes Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) activists in Plosowahyu Village and youth-focused social organizations. The process of implementation entails socialization, education, and help with creating tasks and programs. Based on the results of the tasks, all participants are capable of independently producing graphic designs and comprehending the significance of technology throughout the industrial revolution. 4.0.

Abstract

The aim of this research are to ascertain, investigate, and evaluate the degree to which the creation of innovative economic products for Sendang Paciran batik clothing and the use of an integrated marketing communication strategy have an impact on the tourism appeal of Sendang Agung and Sendang Duwur Villages Paciran District. The explanatory survey method is employed in this research. The results of the research show that even though the villages of Sendang Agung and Sendang Duwur Paciran have built an integrated marketing communication plan for creative economic products, more work has to be done on it. This is evident from the responses of the vast majority of respondents who concurred with the posed questions. However, of the four forming parts of integrated marketing communications, public relations, publicity, and advertising are the forming factors with the strongest role and are the ones that have been executed the best.

Abstract

This research was conducted on grade X students of a public senior high school in Karangbinangun, Lamongan, Indonesia, on opportunity material by applying Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the effect of the PBL model on students' numeracy ability in solving Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) problems on opportunity material. This research is quantitative research using a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used test instruments, whereas the validity, reliability, differentiating power, and difficulty index have been explained. The data analysis techniques used independent sample t-test and N-gain test. The results showed that applying the PBL model could improve the numeracy ability of students in solving AKM problems on opportunity material. This is evidenced by the difference in the average post-test score obtained by students in the experimental class (88) and in the control class (84). Based on the calculation of the average pretest and post-test in both classes, the percentage of numeracy ability of students in the experimental class was 55.62%, while the percentage of numeracy ability of students in the control class was 51.73%. The calculation of the independent sample t-test also shows significance in the value of sig. (2-tailed) less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, the PBL model affects students' numeracy abilities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas buku ajar matematika SMP sebagai penguat Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Pengembangan buku ajar ini menggunakan model Plomp yang terdiri dari fase pendahuluan, fase prototipe, dan fase evaluasi. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh validator ahli materi dan validator ahli media. Validator ahli materi terdiri dari dosen Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Islam Lamongan dan guru matematika SMP sedangkan validator ahli media terdiri dari dosen Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Islam Lamongan dan dosen Sistem Informasi Institut Teknologi Adhi Tama Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket validasi yang selanjutnya diolah menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif. Aspek yang dinilai dalam validasi ahli materi meliputi aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, dan bahasa, sedangkan aspek yang dinilai dalam validasi ahli media meliputi kelayakan kegrafikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aspek kelayakan isi sebesar 3,6 (valid), aspek kelayakan penyajian sebesar 3,5 (valid), aspek kelayakan bahasa sebesar 3,6 (valid), rata-rata penilaian ahli materi sebesar 3,6 (valid), (2) nilai validasi pada indikator ukuran buku ajar sebesar 3,9 (valid), indikator desain sampul buku ajar sebesar 3,7 (valid) dan indikator desain isi buku ajar sebesar 3,6 (valid). Rata-rata penilaian ahli media sebesar 3,7 (valid).

ABSTRAK. Artikel ini membahas tentang penggunaan strategi intervensi yang optimal untuk menahan penyebaran virus Nipah (NiV) dengan menggunakan teknik pengendalian yang optimal. Pertama, kami membuat model dinamis infeksi NiV dan tiga strategi kontrol yaitu kontrol kesadaran masyarakat, pengobatan dan karantina. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengurangi jumlah orang yang teinfeksi dan meminimalkan ketiga biaya pengendalian. Karakterisasi kontrol optimal menggunakan prinsip maksimum pontryagin, yang selanjutnya akan dilakukan simulasi numerik menggunakan metode Runge Kutta orde 4. Hasil simulasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa teknik kontrol optimal efektif dalam mengurangi jumlah individu yang terinfeksi. Simulasi numerik yang dilakukan juga menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengendalian dini dapat efektif mengendalikan penyebaran virus Nipah.Kata Kunci: Kontrol Optimal, Model Matematika, Prinsip Maksimum Pontryagin, Virus Nipah (NiV).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika Siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Trigonometri. Sampel penelitian yaitu Siswa kelas X IPA 1 dan kelas X IPA 3 SMAN 1 Karangbinangun yang masing-masing berjumlah 29. Adapun kelas kontrol yaitu kelas X IPA 1 dan kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas X IPA 3. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan posttest. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan analisis statistik menggunakan uji independent sample t yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig.(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 (0,002<0,05). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika pada Pokok Bahasan Trigonometri dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika Siswa dibanding dengan yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dari hasil yang telah didapat, Guru dapat menggunakan model Problem Based Learning sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika Siswa.
