Abstract

The Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) is a projected area intended to become a center for field laboratories and workshops accommodating all study programs at UNPAB. The area is also planned to become Ecoedutourism (Eco-educational tourism). One of the functions to be developed in this area is livestock farming. In the face of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015, especially in the food sector, specific standardization is required for livestock products. Therefore, the concept of Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP) needs to be implemented. Thus, there is a need for planning the design concept of supporting buildings in the livestock area of the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) that considers GAHP. The implementation of GAHP aims to ensure that the livestock products produced are safe for consumption with appropriate quality for consumers. Additionally, it ensures that livestock products are produced correctly without causing environmental, health, safety, and welfare losses/damages to workers in the livestock sector. The objective of this research is to produce a design for supporting buildings in the livestock area of the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) based on GAHP. The results of this design are expected to guide the development of supporting buildings in the livestock area of the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab).

Abstract

Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) is an area projected to become a center for field laboratories and workshops that accommodate all study programs at UNPAB. This area is also planned to be an Ecotourism. One of the functions that will be developed in this area is the livestock area. Facing the AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) 2015 in the field of food, especially livestock products in particular, strict standardization is needed so the concept of Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP) needs to be applied. Thus, it is necessary to plan the concept of a livestock drive in the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) livestock area by considering GAHP (Good Anima Husbandry Practice). The application of GAHP aims to ensure that the livestock products produced are safe for consumption with the right quality and suitable for consumers, while also ensuring that livestock products are produced in the right way without causing harm to the environment, health, safety, and welfare of workers in the livestock sector. The purpose of this research is to produce a design of supporting buildings in the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) livestock area based on GAHP. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the public's interest in visiting the Livestock Area of the Glugur Rimbun Area, Sampe Cita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, through the independent variables of promotion and attractiveness. This Animal Husbandry Area is one of several areas in the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) Glugur Rimbun Area with a special land area for the Animal Husbandry Area of about two ha from the total area of about 24 (twenty four) ha. The research approach uses quantitative methods involving 100 respondents and data collection using questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS. The results showed that the independent variable promotion showed a t-count value of -0.945 < t-table 1.984 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that digital-based promotion has a positive and significant effect partially on visiting interest. The test results for the attraction variable show a tcount value of 12.315> t-table 1.984 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that attraction has a positive and significant effect partially on visiting interest. The F-count value of 75.864> F-table of 3.09 and a significant 0.000 <0.05, then digital-based promotion and attractiveness have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on tourist interest in visiting.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan protein hewani di masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya daging itik, didorong oleh kesadaran akan pentingnya pangan bergizi yang kaya akan asam amino esensial, vitamin, dan mineral. Meskipun daging itik mengandung protein yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan daging sapi, domba, dan babi, minat konsumsi daging itik di Sumatera Utara masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kelemahan seperti tekstur yang alot, bau anyir, dan kandungan lemak yang tinggi. Marinasi merupakan metode yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan merendam daging dalam campuran bumbu dan bahan cair untuk meningkatkan rasa, tekstur, dan kelembutan. Belimbing wuluh, dengan pH rendah (1,5-3,0), adalah salah satu bahan marinasi yang dapat mengurangi bau anyir dan melunakkan daging. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek ekstrak belimbing wuluh pada kualitas fisik dan organoleptik daging itik petelur. Dengan mengevaluasi hasil marinasi daging itik menggunakan ekstrak belimbing wuluh, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi penting mengenai potensi ekstrak belimbing wuluh dalam meningkatkan kualitas daging itik serta memenuhi permintaan konsumen dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh perendaman daging puyuh dalam berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L) terhadap pH dan uji organoleptik. Daging puyuh direndam dalam ekstrak belimbing wuluh dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola non faktorial, dengan 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan perendaman daging menggunakan ekstrak belimbing wuluh dengan konsentrasi berbeda 20ml, 30ml dan 40ml selama 30 menit. untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap karakteristik pH dan kualitas sensorik (warna, aroma, dan tekstur). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman daging puyuh dengan menggunakan ekstrak belimbing wuluh tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai Ph dan Organoleptik (P> 0.05).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi Hasil IB pada Domba Lokal Terhadap Bobot Lahir, Letter Size, Dan Sex Ratio yang dilaksanakan di Lingkungan I Bukit Mas, Kelurahan Dendang, Kecamatan Stabat Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan induk domba ekor local sebanyak 30 ekor dan anak domba sebanyak 40 ekor. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Variabel yang digunakan adalah bobot lahir, litter size, sex ratio dan tipe kelahiran. Data yang diperoleh berupa produktivitas induk disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa litter size induk domba lokal sebesar 1,44, dengan tipe kelahiran pada Induk domba local dengan Tipe kelahiran single sebanyak 18 ekor, twin 6 kor, dan triplet 3 ekor. Rata-rata Bobot lahir anak jantan sebesar 2,41 kg/ekor dan pada anak betina adalah 2,18 kg/ekor. Sex ratio anak domba lokal yang lahir berjenis kelamin jantan 23 ekor dan anak berjenis kelamin betina 17 ekor
