Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap  hasil belajar fisika  pada materi Hukum Newton di kelas X SMA St. Thomas 3 Medan T.P 2014/2015.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitianquasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian  adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA St. Thomas 3 Medan T.P 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 7 kelas dengan jumlah 231 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 31 orang dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 31 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa adalah tes hasil belajar yang berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan jumlah 15 soal dan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa saat pembelajaran.Hasil uji normalitas diperoleh data pretes berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Dari hasil uji beda nilai kedua kelas pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung  = 0,381 dan ttabel = 2,00 , karena thitung< ttabel maka Ho diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan kemampuan awal kedua kelas sama.Kemudian diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, kelas eksperimen dengan model problem based learningdan kelas kontrol dengan model konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai maka dilakukan postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 72,3 dengan simpangan baku 14dan kelas kontrol 62,4 dengan simpangan baku 14. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh thitung = 2,7dan ttabel = 1,67. Karena thitung> ttabel maka Ha diterima, yaitu  adapengaruh penerapan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada materi Hukum Newton di kelas X semester I SMA St. Thomas 3 Medan T.P 2014/2015. Kata Kunci : problem based learning (PBL), hasil belajar, hukum newton

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: analyze whether the results of students' science process skills using the inquiry training learning model were better than conventional learning. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The research population was all class X students of SMA Negeri 19 Medan in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Sampling was determined by random cluster sampling with two classes consisting of 66 students. Class X-2 as an experimental class with a scientific inquiry learning model totaling 33 students, class X-1 as a control class with conventional learning totaling 33 students. The research instrument used a science process skills description test that was valid and reliable. The results of data analysis using two-way Anava. The results showed that the science process skills of students using the inquiry training learning model were better than conventional learning.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran semakin pesat di era teknologi digital tahun 2023 Hal ini menuntut para calon guru untuk menguasai penggunaan teknologi digital dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan seberapa efektif model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap hasil belajar.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu quasi-eksperimen dengan desain one grup pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Negeri Manado semester 5. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam bentuk uraian sebanyak 10 soal, dari hasil tes tersebut dilakukan uji n-gain. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 45 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 77. Hasil analisis n-gain adalah 0,57 yang menunjukkan kategori keefektifan sedang. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran mata kuliah pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan tentang pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the management and leadership in Catholic schools under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Medan (KAM). Using a quantitative descriptive approach, this study collected data from 280 respondents consisting of principals, teachers, and administrative staff in various Catholic schools in the KAM area. The assessment was carried out based on key standards that include the ability of school administrators to make decisions, the quality of leadership in realizing the school's mission and vision, and relations with Church authorities. The results showed that the majority of respondents felt that Catholic schools in KAM had generally met the standards of good leadership and management. As many as 34.9% of respondents considered that school administrators were able to make effective decisions, and 36.7% stated that school leadership had succeeded in implementing the school's mission and vision. However, several areas needed improvement, such as relations with Church authorities, where 40.8% of respondents felt that this relationship was inadequate. This study highlights the strengths and weaknesses in the management and leadership of Catholic schools in KAM. With continuous improvement in these aspects, these schools can continue to make positive contributions to quality education and student character development in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Penggunaan laboratorium fisika dasar memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Negeri Manado. Namun, keterbatasan panduan eksperimen yang sistematis dan mudah diakses seringkali menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaan praktikum yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-book panduan eksperimen berbasis FlipHTML5 sebagai sarana pembelajaran interaktif bagi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validasi produk dilaksanakan oleh 7 reviewer menggunakan instrumen kuisioner aspek materi, bahasa, dan media, sedangkan kepraktisan diujikan kepada 20 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan e-book ini sangat layak dengan skor rerata tiap aspek di atas 4,20 dan sangat praktis dengan skor rerata 4,40. PEKA RASA memudahkan mahasiswa mengakses, memahami dan memberikan instruksi eksperimen yang jelas. Dengan demikian e-book ini berimplikasi pada kualitas pembelajaran laboratorium yang lebih adaptif terhadap kebutuhan digital, berpotensi menjadi media pembelajaran interaktif yang mendukung efektivitas laboratorium dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk alat laboratorium lainnya. Development of an e-book guide to basic physics laboratory experiments as an interactive learning tool Abstract: Using a basic physics laboratory has a vital role in improving the competence of Physics Education students at Manado State University. However, the limitations of a systematic and easily accessible experimental guide are often an obstacle to effective practicum implementation. This research aims to develop a FlipHTML5-based experiment guide e-book as an interactive learning tool for students. The method used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Product validation was carried out by 7 reviewers using questionnaire instruments on material, language, and media aspects, while practicality was tested on 20 students. The analysis results show that this e-book is very feasible, with an average score of each aspect above 4.20, and very practical, with an average score of 4.40. PEKA RASA makes it easy for students to access, understand, and provide clear experimental instructions. Thus, this e-book has implications for the quality of laboratory learning that is more adaptive to digital needs, has the potential to become an interactive learning media that supports laboratory effectiveness, and can be further developed for other laboratory equipment.
