Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pentingnya penunjukan pedoman magnet yang tepat dan akurat di atas kapal SPOB Benua Raya VIII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data peserta pelatihan dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan awak kapal tentang pemahaman mereka tentang kesalahan penunjukan pedoman magnet di atas kapal SPOB Benua Raya VIII. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya kendala dalam penunjukan pedoman magnet yaitu di sebabkan oleh deviasi. Deviasi yang terjadi di atas kapal dapat bervariasi karena arah haluan saat berlayar. Untuk objek yang terbuat dari baja yang bergerak dari suatu tempat di kapal, biasanya dapat bervariasi secara berkala. Sementara cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dengan mengatur secara baik penempatan dan peletakan pedoman magnet di kapal.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to create a classification system that can recognize traditional Bugis cakes using the Convolutional Neural Network method. (CNN). Traditional Bugis cakes play an important role in Indonesia's culinary heritage, which is rich in diversity and flavor. However, the lack of documentation and sufficient recognition of these cakes could lead to the loss of cultural knowledge. In this study, a collection of images of traditional Bugis cakes was gathered and processed for training a CNN model. This model was created to recognize and classify various types of cakes based on their visual attributes. The evaluation results show that the CNN model can achieve a high level of accuracy in identifying these cakes, making it a useful tool in preserving and promoting traditional Bugis cakes. This research is expected to contribute to the development of image recognition technology and raise public awareness about the richness of local culinary heritage. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sumber daya teknologi informasi (TI) dan keterampilan dosen dalam mendukung digitalisasi pembelajaran di Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong. Dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan pembelajaran berbasis digital, kesiapan infrastruktur TI dan kompetensi dosen menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan implementasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode kuesioner, melibatkan dosen dari berbagai program studi sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan studi literatur untuk mengevaluasi ketersediaan sumber daya TI, seperti perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan akses internet, serta keterampilan dosen dalam menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong telah menyediakan sumber daya TI yang memadai, namun masih terdapat kendala akan kuantitas titik hotspot di kelas-kelas. masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam keterampilan dosen, terutama dalam penguasaan aplikasi pembelajaran dan strategi pengajaran interaktif berbasis digital. Studi ini merekomendasikan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk dosen dan optimalisasi sumber daya TI guna mendukung transformasi digital yang lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup perlunya kebijakan strategis untuk mendukung transformasi digital yang lebih efektif, termasuk alokasi anggaran yang memadai dan pengembangan kebijakan inovatif guna mendukung pembelajaran berbasis digital. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar penting bagi upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di era digital, khususnya di institusi maritim.

Abstract

Inaportnet is a nationally implemented electronic system developed by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and integration of port services. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Inaportnet system in the clearance in service for ships at the Office of Harbormaster and Port Authority (KSOP) Class I Makassar and to identify the key challenges encountered during its operation. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, employing observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Data were collected over a three-month period (February 26–May 26, 2024) and analyzed thematically, supported by source triangulation to ensure validity. The results show that while the Inaportnet system has been implemented according to standard procedures, it still faces several critical issues, including technical system disruptions, limited operator competency, absence of emergency standard operating procedures (SOPs), and poor inter-agency coordination. Although the delay rate for PKK (ship arrival clearance documents) was only 2%, the delays occurred consistently and significantly affected the efficiency of port services. It is concluded that the success of digital systems such as Inaportnet depends not only on technological infrastructure but also on the readiness of human resources, adaptive operational procedures, and effective inter-agency collaboration. This research is expected to provide valuable insights for improving digital service implementation in Indonesian ports.

Abstract

The adoption of cloud computing has significantly transformed the development of interactive digital learning media by enabling more efficient creation, storage, and distribution of content. This study explores the use of Google Sites as a cloud-based platform for designing and delivering interactive learning materials. The research aims to assess its effectiveness in enhancing accessibility, collaboration, and learner engagement within the digital learning environment at Barombong Maritime Polytechnic. A qualitative approach is used, focusing on usability, functionality, and user experience. The findings reveal that Google Sites provides a flexible, cost-effective, and user-friendly solution for educators to develop and manage online learning resources. The integration of cloud computing into learning media development encourages innovation and improves digital literacy among both educators and learners. This research contributes to the body of knowledge surrounding cloud-based educational tools and offers practical insights for educators seeking to maximize the use of technology in teaching and learning.
