Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata kerajinan tembaga di Desa Cepogo melalui pendekatan digitalisasi usaha dan inovasi lingkungan. Desa Cepogo memiliki potensi besar di bidang ekonomi kreatif, namun menghadapi tantangan dalam hal literasi digital, promosi daring, dan pengelolaan limbah wisata. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap: sosialisasi, pelatihan teknologi, pendampingan lapangan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan literasi keuangan mitra hingga 85%, adopsi sistem akuntansi digital oleh 75% pengrajin, peningkatan omzet 30%, dan kenaikan kunjungan wisata sebesar 25%. Program ini menghasilkan sistem reservasi digital, unit maggot edukatif, serta publikasi promosi wisata digital yang berkelanjutan. Integrasi antara teknologi dan kearifan lokal memperkuat Desa Cepogo sebagai model digiwisata berbasis budaya dan lingkungan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study explores the techno-economic feasibility of integrating solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Through simulation using HOMER Pro software, both standalone PV and PV-grid hybrid configurations were evaluated under real-world EV load profiles. The analysis reveals that the PV-grid hybrid system demonstrates superior economic performance, achieving an annual energy production of 39,214 kWh, a levelized cost of energy (LCOE) of $0.3975/kWh, and a return on investment (ROI) of 62.01% over 20 years, despite a payback period exceeding 30 years. Sensitivity analysis confirms that the system remains moderately resilient under a 10% reduction in solar irradiance or a 20% increase in EV demand. The study also compares the standalone PV configuration, which, while suitable for off-grid applications, results in significant energy underutilization. Moreover, the PV-grid model supports surplus electricity sales, enhancing financial viability. These findings provide actionable insights for stakeholders, energy planners, and policymakers aiming to scale EV charging infrastructure sustainably in Indonesia’s urban environments.

Abstract

Accurate state of charge (SOC) estimation is essential for the safety, performance, and longevity of lithium-ion batteries. Physics-based models such as equivalent circuit models (ECMs) are computationally efficient but struggle under nonlinear and time-varying conditions, whereas purely data-driven approaches often lack interpretability. This study proposes a hybrid framework that integrates a physics-informed neural network (PINN) with a first-order Thevenin ECM for dynamic SOC estimation using only terminal voltage and current inputs. The method incorporates physically derived parameters including open-circuit voltage (OCV), polarization resistance, and capacitance identified through pulse testing. An eighth-order OCV–SOC polynomial regression optimized with a genetic algorithm (GA) enables nonlinear mapping, while the Newton–Raphson (NR) method is applied for final SOC estimation. Experimental validation was performed on 18 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells over 300 charge–discharge cycles at 20 °C, extended up to 2000 cycles under 1C/2C rates with cut-off voltages of 3.7 V and 2.7 V. Comparative analysis with extended kalman filters (EKF) and standard neural networks (NN) demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method, achieving a root mean squared error (RMSE) of 0.103, mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 0.702%, and coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.998. By embedding physical constraints into the learning process, the PINN enhances accuracy, robustness, and generalizability, while reducing estimation uncertainty, thereby offering a scalable and interpretable solution for real-time battery management systems (BMS) in electric vehicles (EVs) and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Abstract

Tawengan Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency, is an agricultural area where the majority of the population earns their livelihood from rice farming. Rice farmers in Tawengan Village, particularly members of the Amrih Tentrem Farmer Group, face various cultivation challenges, one of the most significant being severe insect pest infestations that reduce rice production. Stem borers, green leafhoppers, rice bugs (Leptocorisa spp.), and other insect pests have caused an estimated 31% decline in rice productivity, as well as deterioration in grain quality. This community service program aimed to address these challenges through the implementation of LED light trap technology as an environmentally friendly pest management method in rice cultivation. The technology utilizes LED light to attract and capture insect pests, thereby suppressing pest populations and reducing pest-related damage without leaving harmful chemical residues. The program was conducted in Tawengan Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency. Its implementation consisted of two main activities: educational outreach and apllying the installation of LED light traps. The educational outreach was delivered through interactive presentations, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to enhance farmers' understanding of environmentally friendly pest management. Subsequently, the LED light traps were installed using a participatory and demonstrative approach, actively involving farmers in demonstration plots managed by the Amrih Tentrem Farmer Group. This program also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing farmers' knowledge and technical competencies in implementing environmentally friendly pest management technologies, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering collaboration among universities, the village government, farmer groups, and local farmers in the implementation and dissemination of sustainable pest control technology.

Abstract

A Folia Fresh is a hand sanitizer product in the form of a practical pocket spray made from natural base ingredients of Kersen leaf (Muntingia calabura L.) with a refreshing aroma of Jasmine Flower (Jasminum sambac). Kersen or talok (Muntingia calabura L.) is a kind of shade tree that we can easily find on the roadside. Kersen (Muntigia calabura L.) contains bioactive compounds, namely flavonoid, saponin, triterpene, steroid, and tannin which are compounds that have the potential as antibacterial. Cherry leaves extracts were obtained by maserasi using 70% ethanol as solvent. Cherry leaves were meserated for 21 x 24 hours to obtain the filtrate. The extract is then processed into a hand sanitizer product with the addition of aquadest, glycerin, methyl paraben, and the aroma of Jasmine Flowers. Jasmine flower has active substances that can help regenerate healthy skin, moisturize dry skin, and fight the symptoms of aging.
