Abstract

This research is in the background, because in SLB Baitul Fattahu Kinali West Pasaman in the application of the Drill method for children with disabilities there are several obstacles, namely, teachers still experience difficulties in applying the Drill Method because students are still lacking focus in learning PAI and still have difficulties in understanding and remembering learning so that it is a challenge for teachers to sort out the suitable method to be applied in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems of applying the Drill method in learning PAI prayer material for children with disabilities at SLB Baitul Fattahu Kinali West Pasaman. The results of the study show that in the application of the Drill method in the PAI subject, the prayer material at SLB Baitul Fattahu Kinali West Pasaman uses three steps, namely implementation preparation activities, core activities, and closing activities. The problems faced by teachers in the application of the PAI learning drill method for prayer material are teachers which comes from several forms, namely factors from circumstances that come from within the student himself or commonly called internal factors such as their IQ level is indeed low or below average.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the recitation method in offline (luring) Arabic language learning and the perceptions of eighth-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Indragiri Hilir. Arabic learning requires comprehensive understanding; however, limited face-to-face instruction time led to less effective material transfer due to the lack of direct explanation from the teacher. Therefore, the recitation method is applied to optimize learning. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The instruments used to collect data were interviews with the subject teacher and questionnaires distributed to the students. The data analysis technique followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of three activities: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings indicate that the application of the recitation method was carried out through three main stages: the assignment giving stage, the assignment execution stage, and the evaluation stage. Most of these stages have been well-implemented in offline Arabic learning. However, teachers could not monitor students' task completion fully outside of school hours, and constraints were found in the lack of focus and attention of some students in completing Arabic assignments independently.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan membentuk kebiasaan pengelolaan uang yang bertanggung jawab pada siswa kelas V SDN 03 Limo Badak, Malalak Timur. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya literasi keuangan pada siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia, yang berdampak pada pengambilan keputusan ekonomi di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek utama penelitian adalah siswa, sedangkan guru dan kepala sekolah berperan sebagai informan pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa awalnya belum memahami konsep dasar keuangan, termasuk menabung dan membedakan antara kebutuhan dan keinginan. Penerapan pendidikan literasi keuangan melalui celengan, permainan edukatif, dan buku cerita anak terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan dan minat siswa, sekaligus menumbuhkan karakter positif seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan literasi keuangan sejak dini sangat penting untuk membentuk kebiasaan pengambilan keputusan keuangan yang bijak. This community service study aims to enhance financial literacy and develop responsible money management habits among fifth-grade students at SDN 03 Limo Badak, Malalak Timur. The study addresses the low financial literacy levels among Indonesian elementary school students, which may impact their future economic decision-making. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, using observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The primary subjects were students, with teachers and the school principal serving as supporting informants. Findings indicate that most students initially lacked understanding of basic financial concepts, including saving and distinguishing between needs and wants. Implementation of financial literacy education through piggy banks, educational games, and storybooks effectively increased students’ knowledge and interest, while also fostering positive character traits such as discipline, responsibility, and independence. The study concludes that early financial education is essential to establish lifelong habits of wise financial decision-making
