Abstract

Maternal and child health in Indonesia is an important issue in the health sector because of the high maternal and infant mortality rates. A critical indicator of women's health status is measured by the high maternal mortality rate. The gallery walk method is effective enough to improve the learning achievement index. The research design used quasy experiment with pre test post test. The independent variable of the study is the gallery walk learning method about the danger signs of pregnancy and the dependent variable is the knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy. The study population was pregnant women aged 20-32 weeks of pregnancy totaling 31 pregnant women. The sample taken was all pregnant women aged 20-32 weeks of pregnancy totaling 31 pregnant women. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire of the mother's knowledge level about pregnancy danger signs. Data analysis using Wilcoxon t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the group before the intervention and after the intervention of the gallery walk learning method about the danger signs of pregnancy, with a p value = 0.000. The conclusion of the study is that health education using the gallery walk learning method is effective on the knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy in the class of pregnant women.

Abstract

Non communicable diseases are currently a major health problem and the biggest cause of death in the world. This study aims to identify the determinants of cadre activity in the implementation of the Non-Communicable Disease Posbindu in Margomulyo village. Integrated coaching post for early detection of community-based Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) risk factors. The activeness of cadres which is the cornerstone of the running of the PTM posbindu plays an important role. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in Margomulyo village. Data in this study were obtained through interviews, observation and document analysis. The results showed that the determinants that affect cadre activity are knowledge, cadre education, cadre work, cadre motivation, length of time as cadres and cross-sector support in the implementation of the PTM Posbidu program. This research can be used as a reference for increasing cadre activity in Margomulyo village by increasing determinants that have a significant effect on activeness.

Abstract

Training the development of fine motor skills is very important, so activities are needed that can help in the process of developing children's fine motor skills. Delays in fine motor development will have an impact on subsequent development, where there are long-term negative impacts for children who experience delays in basic motor development. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of educational puzzle games on fine motor development in children aged 6 years. The research design is pre-experimental with a one group pretest - posttest design. The population was all 6-year-old children in Kindergarten Santa Maria, Pare District, Kediri Regency, East Java, totaling 92 children, a sample of 48 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test with the p value < α, α:0.05. The results of the research showed that before the treatment, almost all respondents had questionable fine motor development, namely 39 respondents (81.2%), whereas after treatment, almost all respondents had appropriate fine motor development, namely 45 respondents (93.8%). %). Results of data analysis sig value (2-tailed): 0.001. Educational puzzle game therapy influences fine motor development in children aged 6 years. Routine activities to stimulate the development of fine motor skills can improve the fine motor development of pre-school aged children, one of which is using educational puzzle games so that they can run optimally.

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia adalah salah satu negara terpadat di dunia yang menduduki posisi keempat setelah China, India dan Amerika Serikat. Angka unmet need di Indonesia masih sangat tinggi yaitu 14,7% dari target nasional 8% pada tahun 2022. Pentingnya edukasi KB semakin meningkat mengingat adanya lonjakan angka kehamilan yang tidak direncanakan akibat keterbatasan akses ke layanan kesehatan. Program edukasi berbasis komunitas dan teknologi digital, seperti diskusi daring dan video edukasi, telah diterapkan di beberapa daerah untuk mengatasi tantangan ini. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan wanita usia subur tentang berbagai jenis alat kontrasepsi, sehingga harapannya adalah wanita usia subur memahami dan bisa menentukan pilihannya dalam menggunakan alat kontrasepsi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 November 2024 pada 30 wanita usia subur di RT 02 RW 01 Desa Banaran Kecamatan Kandangan Kabupaten Kediri. Edukasi kesehatan dilakukan dengan tatap muka sebanyak 1 kali kegiatan dengan menggunakan media leaflet. Hasil pengetahuan menunjukkan sebelum edukasi pengetahuan kurang 13 WUS (43,33%), cukup 7 WUS (23,33%) dan baik 10 WUS (33,34%), sedangkan setelah edukasi pengetahuan kurang 6 WUS (20,00%), cukup 11 WUS (36,67%) dan baik 13 WUS (43,33%). Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perubahan pengetahuan WUS sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi kesehatan tentang jenis alat kontrasepsi.   Kata kunci : Edukasi, alat kontrasepsi, wanita usia subur   Abstract Indonesia is one of the most populous countries in the world, ranking fourth after China, India and the United States. The unmet need rate in Indonesia is still very high at 14.7% from the national target of 8% by 2022. The importance of family planning education is increasing given the surge in unplanned pregnancies due to limited access to health services. Community-based education programs and digital technologies, such as online discussions and educational videos, have been implemented in some areas to address this challenge. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of women of childbearing age about various types of contraceptives, so that the hope is that women of childbearing age understand and can make choices in using contraceptives. The activity was carried out on November 13, 2024 for 30 women of childbearing age in RT 02 RW 01 Banaran Village, Kandangan District, Kediri Regency. Health education was conducted face-to-face as much as 1 activity using leaflet media. The results of knowledge showed that before education knowledge was less 13 WUS (43.33%), enough 7 WUS (23.33%) and good 10 WUS (33.34%), while after education knowledge was less 6 WUS (20.00%), enough 11 WUS (36.67%) and good 13 WUS (43.33%). This shows that there are changes in the knowledge of WUS before and after being given health education about types of contraceptives.  Keywords : Education, contraceptives, women of childbearing age

Abstract

Masalah kesehatan ibu hamil yang kurang aktivitas akan menyebabkan masalah kehamilan yang membahayakan kesehatan ibu dan janin sehingga mempengaruhi kualitas hidup ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan prenatal yoga terhadap kualitas hidup pada ibu hamil. Jenis penelitian adalah observasional analitik menggunakan desain cross sectional study. Terdapat 60 Populasi penelitian ibu hamil dengan usia kehamilan minimal 20 minggu menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen prental yoga menggunakan kuesioner frekuensi dan rutinitas, sedangkan kualitas hidup menggunakan World Health Organization Quality of Life-Breef. Uji analisis hubungan menggunakan analisis Chi Square. Penelitian prenatal yoga menunjukkan sebagai besar ibu hamil dengan frekuensi 2-4 kali/bulan sebanyak 43 (71.7%), setengah ibu hamil dengan rutinitas yang rutin sebanyak 25 (41.7%), kualitas hidup ibu hamil menunjukkan hampir setengah ibu hamil memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik sebanyak 30 (50%). Hasil uji Chi Square  frekuensi prenatal yoga yang mempunyai nilai sig (2-tailed) p = 0.021 dan rutinitas prenatal yoga mempunyai nilai sig (2-tailed) p = 0.000 yang menunujukan nilai p<a yang artinya ada hubungan frekuensi dan rutinitas prenatal yoga dengan kualitas hidup. Kesimpulan penelitian  bahwa prenatal yoga yang dilakukan rutin dapat membantu mengurangi keluhan ketidaknyamanan yang dialami oleh ibu selama proses kehamilan, sehingga kualitas hidup ibu hamil dapat meningkat.
