Abstract

This paper aims to find out the analysis of the effect of the application of governance on financial performance in Islamic banks in Indonesia. Good Corporate Governance is a Bank governance that applies the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness. Based on this, this research is seen from the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks in 2016-2019. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Sharia Banking Statistics Financial Services Authority (OJK) according to each bank. The variables in this study are Good Corporate Governance (X) and financial performance (Y). T test analysis results show that Good Corporate Governance has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. While the Determination Coefficient (R2) in Adjusted R2 is 0.156 which means that the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks can be explained by the independent variable by 15.6% and the rest is influenced by other variables

Abstract

The application of risk management in Islamic banks is very important which aims to identify, measure, monitor, and control risks arising from all business activities of the Bank that have the potential for losses due to certain events, including credit risk due to debtor failure, credit concentration risk, counterparty credit risk, and settlement risk. Financial ratios or Financial Ratios are a company's financial analysis tool to assess the performance of a company based on comparison of financial data contained in the financial statement post (balance sheet, profit / loss statement, cash flow statement) which is an alternative to test whether financial ratios are useful for making predictions about future profitability. CAR, NPF and FDR are measures of the ability to predict profitability. The data was obtained from the OJK Sharia Banking Statistics publication report. The independent variables in this study are Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) while Return on Assets (ROA) as the dependent variable. Data collection methods in this study are documentation and literature. During this period, the research data were normally distributed. This study shows that variables, CAR, FDR and NPF influence ROA.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of financial risk that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive and empirical research, with a qualitative approach, because the problems are holistic, complex and dynamic.The purpose of this study is to find out, examine, and analyze in depth the Strategy of Islamic Banks in Overcoming Financial Risk in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period.The results of the study concluded that the strategy of Islamic banks in overcoming financial risks during the COVID-19 pandemic was quite successful compared to conventional banks. Suggestions that can be given to improve the results of Islamic bank strategies in overcoming financial risks during the COVID-19 pandemic are 1) Improving the Information Technology System, 2) Developing more practical products, 3) Needing Human Resource Competence, 4) Harmonizing with regulators .Keywords: IT Expansion, Product Development, Human Resources Competence, Regulator

Abstract

BPRS as a community trust institution whose existence is able to provide banking services quickly, easily and simply to the community, especially medium, small and micro entrepreneurs in both rural and urban areas. But now the development of BPRS in North Sumatra is starting to lag behind compared to BPRS in other Provinces. This study aims to analyze the BPRS strategy in North Sumatra in the face of competition in the Fintech era. The results showed that the problems that emerged in the era of fintech SRB in North Sumatra consisted of 5 important aspects: Capital, HR, technical, legal / structural aspects, and market / communal effects. Explaining all aspects of the problem results in a priority order: 1) Most SRBs have relatively limited paid up capital; 2) The quality and quantity of human resources must still be improved; 3) Increasingly dynamic regulations; 4) Trust public interest in BPRS tend to be low and 5) Not able to get reliable IT. Whereas the priority of policy strategies that are considered capable of competing in the fintech era consist of: 1) strengthening capital and business scale and increasing the level of efficiency; 2) increase the quantity and quality of BPRS human resources; 3) increase access to banking services by creating digital-based innovations; 4) Increase competitiveness by strengthening competitive and comparative advantages; 5) Strategic Partnership, namely the active role of regulators in connecting the BPRS Industry with third parties.

Abstract

Perlunya pemahaman tentang akad-akad syariah bagi masyarakat muslim yang ada di Indonesia. Untuk itulah dilakukan pelatihan literasi dan pelatihan akad mudharabah PSAK 105 pada pelaku UMKM Koperasi Syariah di Sumatera Utara untuk membuka pemahaman tentang bahaya transaksi yang memakai sistem riba. Membantu pelaku UMKM Koperasi syariah cara membuat laporan keuangan memakai PSAK 105 tentang akad mudharabah. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini membuat pelaku UMKM Koperasi syariah tau bagaimana perlakuan akuntansi memakai PSAK 105 akad mudharabah.

Abstract

The rapid growth of technology has made all sectors influential, namely the education sector, industry, as well as the economic, financial and banking sectors. The link between the millennial generation and the development of fintech, one of which is because the millennial generation is a technology literate generation that is able to accept a financial technology innovation. The purpose of the study was to determine the extent of the role of the millennial generation in the development of fintech. This research was conducted on Islamic banking students at STAI Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai Stambuk 2016, and the data collection in this collection was through a qualitative descriptive method. This research method uses inductive, then analyzed and then presented in writing in the report, namely in the form of data found from interviews, and documentation. The results of research conducted with Islamic banking students STAI Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai regarding the role of the millennial generation in the development of fintech is very important, this is shown by the results of interviews that researchers have conducted, namely 7 out of 10 students have understood fintech and they participate in the development of fintech that which in this case they have played a role in the development of financial technology today, and the rest of them do not understand and are not interested in using fintech due to the lack of education and socialization about fintech.

Abstract

Tujuan MW CAFE, sebuah bisnis kafe, adalah untuk memberikan lingkungan yang nyaman dan damai kepada para pelanggan selain minuman dan makanan. Karena MW CAFE adalah kepemilikan perseorangan, pemilik memikul semua tanggung jawab atas semua risiko dan tindakan yang berhubungan dengan bisnis. Selain itu, struktur bisnis terbaik untuk usaha kecil dan menengah adalah kepemilikan perseorangan. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui bauran pemasaran yang telah diterapkan oleh MW CAFE; 2) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi strategi MW CAFE; dan 3) menyusun dan merekomendasikan alternatif strategi yang efektif dan efisien untuk MW CAFE dalam kaitannya dengan unit bisnis. Perkembangan MW CAFE dipengaruhi oleh elemen eksternal dan internal, termasuk lokasi perusahaan, teknologi informasi, sikap konsumen, sumber daya manusia, dan kondisi keuangan. Untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor keberhasilan di MW CAFE, termasuk Critical Success Factors yang berkontribusi dalam mencirikan kemampuan bersaing, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode CSF. Tujuan dari strategi ini adalah untuk memberikan interpretasi yang lebih jelas terhadap tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tindakan dan data yang diperlukan untuk membangun fondasi yang kuat untuk kelancaran operasional MW CAFE. Strategi selanjutnya adalah rencana integrasi ke depan yang mencakup promosi pemasaran dan optimalisasi pemasaran digital.

Abstract

From the initial research that researchers did, the Ramen and Burger House was a place to eat that sold Japanese specialties and others. This Ramen and Burger House sets prices that are relatively cheap and can be reached by all levels of society. This is a very good strategy to survive in competition with similar companies. Besides setting a relatively cheap price, the Ramen and Burger Houses also always provide a variety of quality products for all consumers. Currently there are more than 77 types of products that are presented with good quality every day. Ramen and Burger houses offer a variety of products for consumers to choose, it will make the Ramen and Burger House more crowded by consumers. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in the effect of product, price and location on the satisfaction of direct consumers and consumers of Grab Food at Ramen and Burger Houses. The number of samples in this study was 100 people. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously product, price and location variables had a significant effect on consumer satisfaction both directly and through Grab Food at Ramen and Burger Restaurants. Product variables, price variables and location variables contribute to direct consumer satisfaction variables of 28.3% and the remaining 71.7% are determined by other variables outside the contribution of this study. For ordering through Grab Food, the product, price and location variables contribute to the consumer satisfaction variable of 22.6% and the remaining 77.4% is determined by other variables outside the contribution of this research.
