Abstract

This article identifies the social, cultural, and economicdevelopment of Jatiluwih tourism village after subak (rice fieldand its irrigation cultural system) in this village was decreed byUNESCO as a World’s Cultural Heritage in 2012, under the labelCultural Landscape of Bali Province: the Subak System as aManifestation of the Tri Hita Karana. It also discusses tourists’perception to the rice field tourist attraction. The data werecollected through observation, interview, and documentary study,and then descriptively and qualitatively analyzed. The informantswere selected using the purposive sampling technique and theaccidental sampling technique. The study shows that the mutualcooperation, the rituals related to the farming activities, and riceplanting system were still well maintained by farmers of the subakmember. The traditional arts were conserved and developed, andthe social organization were also well maintened. The economicaspects which includes job and business opportunities, incomeand investment have improved. The local people’s participationin the planning and controlling phases were manipulative andfunctional. In the development phase, the local people participatedactively. While tourist’s perception on subak is good, but that is notthe case on the poor condition of public facilities and informationservice by local management.

Abstract

Jatiluwih Tourism Attraction as part of the World Cultural Heritage is a tourist product consumed by tourists. Perception of tourists is important to be studied as a reference in the management of tourist attractions. Data collection techniques using survey methods are used to determine tourists' perception of Jatiluwih Tourism Attraction as part of the World Cultural Heritage. Questionnaires are used as research instruments to obtain information from tourists. After the data is collected, then the measurement is done using the Likert Scale. In determining the number of tourist samples used Slovin formula. Based on Slovin formula with a tolerance limit of 5%, the number of samples for foreign tourists as many as 204 people, and the number of samples for domestic tourists as many as 52 people. The total sample count was 256 people. Domestic and foreign tourists give the highest perception of employment opportunities for the community from the management of tourist attractions. Good perception of tourists is also given to the friendliness of the staff in providing service, naturalness and beauty of the scenery around the tourist attraction. The perception of tourists is not good given to the price of souvenirs, ease of access to the internet, availability of souvenirs with local characteristics, and smooth traffic around tourist attractions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the potency owned by the tourist forest area of Buyan’s lake for supporting tourism tracking activities. Collecting data techniques used to achieve this research purpose is direct observation, structured interview to the tourist and deep interview with the Chief Tourism Office of Buleleng Regency, The head of natural resources conservation, and the community figure. The methods used in this research descriptive analysis method by using an explanation given by the respondents descriptively and the SWOT analysis to identify internal situation like strength and opportunities factors, and the threats in developing tracking tourism. The result of this research shows that physic potency and nonphysical potency owned in the Danau Buyan Tourists attraction area can be developed as tracking tourism. In its development process the involvement of the local community, the tourist and Conservation Nature Resources Conservation are very important factorsAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi yang dimiliki oleh kawasan hutan wisata danau Buyan untuk mendukung kegiatan pelacakan pariwisata. Data dalam penelitian bersumber dari observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur kepada wisatawan dan wawancara mendalam dengan Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Buleleng, Kepala konservasi sumber daya alam, dan tokoh masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan penjelasan yang diberikan oleh responden secara deskriptif dan analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi situasi internal seperti faktor kekuatan, peluang dan ancaman dalam mengembangkan wisata. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa potensi fisik dan potensi nonfisik yang dimiliki kawasan objek wisata Danau Buyan dapat dikembangkan sebagai trekking wisata. Dalam proses pengembangannya keterlibatan masyarakat setempat, para wisatawan dan Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam merupakan faktor yang sangat penting.

Abstract

This Article aims to formulate empowerment strategies, identify forms of partnership, and develop an institutional reinforcement model to support Terunyan Tourism Village. The result shows that the strategy applied by the manager of Terunyan Tourism Village using Conformity Model that implements the program using the learning process approach. Partnerships conducted four patterns of interaction between the community institution of Terunyan Village, Terunyan Tourism Village, Tourism Stakeholders, and the Management of Terunyan Tourism Village. Institutional Reinforcement Model conducted among the involvement of all Village society and community institution in relation to support the Terunyan Tourism Village, and revitalize groups (sekaha) to strengthen the development of tourism products in Terunyan Tourism Village. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pemberdayaan, mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk kemitraan, dan menyusun model penguatan kelembagaan dalam rangka mendukung pengembangan Desa Wisata Terunyan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemberdayaan yang diterapkan oleh pengelola Desa Wisata Terunyan mempergunakan model kesesuaian yang mengimplementasikan program dengan mempergunakan pendekatan proses pembelajaran. Kemitraan yang dilakukan berbentuk empat pola interaksi antara Pranata Kemasyarakatan Desa Terunyan, Desa Wisata Terunyan, Pelaku Pariwisata, dan Pengelola Desa Wisata Terunyan. Model Penguatan Kelembagaan yang dilakukan antara lain pelibatan seluruh lapisan masyarakat desa serta Pranata Kemasyarakatan yang ada di desa dalam kaitan mendukung Desa Wisata Terunyan, dan merevitalisasi kelompok (sekaha) untuk memperkuat pengembangan produk wisata di Desa Wisata Terunyan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the social interactions between tourists and local communities and the socio-cultural impacts arising from these interactions. The method used in this research is the literature study method. This study shows that social interactions between tourists and local communities lead to positive and negative responses depending on the benefits derived from tourism development. The socio-cultural impact of tourism can be grouped into three: the effect on the demographic structure, the impact on the design and social life, and the effect on culture. To maintain tourism development at a controllable level, the monitored of the socio-cultural implications of tourism must continue to maximize its benefits of tourism. AbstrakKajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang interaksi sosial yang terjadi antara wisatawan dan masyarakat lokal serta dampak sosial budaya yang timbul dari interaksi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kepustakaan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial antara wisatawan dan masyarakat lokal menimbulkan tanggapan positif dan negatif tergantung pada manfaat yang diperoleh dari pengembangan pariwisata. Dampak sosial budaya pariwisata dapat dikelompokkan menjadi tiga, yaitu dampak terhadap struktur demografi, dampak terhadap struktur dan kehidupan sosial, dan dampak terhadap budaya. Untuk menjaga perkembangan pariwisata pada tingkat yang terkendali, dampak sosial budaya pariwisata harus dipantau terus menerus untuk memaksimalkan manfaat pariwisata di destinasi.

Abstract

Berkembangnya desa wisata dengan memanfaatkan terasering sawah sebagai daya tarik wisata, menimbulkan dampak berupa pergeseran nilai estetis, bentuk, fungsi, dan makna dari terasering sawah. Pergeseran nilai estetis, bentuk, fungsi, dan makna menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode tinjauan pustaka berdasarkan analisis estetika postmodern. Penelitian ini menemukan dengan dijadikannya terasering sawah sebagai daya tarik wisata di Desa Wisata Jatiluwih, telah menimbulkan pergeseran pada nilai ekonomi, nilai hiburan, nilai estetis, dan nilai religius. Aspek bentuk, terjadi pergeseran akibat dipergunakannya bahan-bahan yang berasal dari luar desa setempat sebagai pelengkap terasering sawah. Aspek fungsi, tidak terjadi pergeseran, karena terasering sawah tetap dipergunakan sebagai sarana menyalurkan air oleh subak. Aspek makna, dengan dijadikannya terasering sawah sebagai daya tarik wisata menimbulkan makna estetis berupa penyaluran rasa estetis petani pada saat membuat terasering sawah, makna lingkungan berupa pelestarian terasering sawah, serta makna budaya berupa berkembangnya budaya global sebagai akibat dijadikannya terasering sawah sebagai daya tarik wisata di desa wisata.

Abstract

This study aims to find local aesthetic values and local economic values as a result of the interaction of local values and global values in the management of tourism destinations in North Bali. The method used is a literature review method based on qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings of this study are that the element of locality in the management of tourism destinations in North Bali is formed from the embodiment of aesthetic values and local economic values which are believed to be local wisdom of the community, and these two values are dominant. The values brought by tourists can have positive (tonic) and negative (toxic) implications, as well as being a driver of value change for local communities. The contribution of aesthetic value and local economic value to the values brought by tourists has not been optimal in managing tourism destinations in North Bali.

Abstract

Korea is a country that is famous for the production of its ginseng. In addition, the reliability of plastic surgery has also become one of the magnet that is able to attract tourists to visit the country. Another factor that makes Korea remains one of the tourist destinations that inspires the desire of tourists to visit the Korea is the booming of serial drama. Presentation of drama and romantic story combined with shooting location is built and developed into the tourist drama. Drama tour offered serves a fusion of nature and creativity as well as supported by the promotion of harmonization.This article is intended to find out the creativities from the drama tour in Korea tourist destinations. Specifically, this article can give you an idea of the expected utilization of the drama as one of tourist excellences and tourist attractions. In General, the article is expected to provide knowledge in the management of tourism. So that they are presented with a blend of nature and creativity as well as supported by the impressions of drama was able to give another view of tourist destinations.

Abstract

In the Hindu community in Bali, it is known that there are various kinds of satay that are used for complete ceremonies. One of the many satays is sate renteng or jerimpen from the Baha Tourism Village which has a unique value. Therefore, this study examines sate renteng or jerimpen in order to find the aesthetic value as well as the form, function, and meaning of sate renteng or jerimpen in the cultural life of the Baha Tourism Village community. This study found that the form of sate renteng or jerimpen at upakara in the Baha Tourism Village was formed with a banana tree trunk, on top of which satay was placed consisting of satay lembat, satay katik 3, satay katik 4, satay katik 5, satay katik 7, pipid, apit surang, kepuh stump, squeeze, penyeneng, chakra, umbul-umbul, pajeng, garuda, and kekuwung. As a complement to the offerings, you can get tumpeng 7, slashes, jerimpen jaja and gebogan. The function of sate renteng or jerimpen is as a means to ask for or get happiness and success, to be kept away from all dangers, and to always be successful in life. While the meanings contained in the making of sate renteng or jerimpen are the meaning of Tattwa Education (philosophy), Moral Education (ethics), and Ceremonial Education (ritual).

Abstract

ABSTRAKProvinsi Bali pada periode tahun 2015 – 2018 terus mendorong pengembangan desa wisata, dan produk wisata yang dihasilkan oleh desa wisata di Bali memilik ciri, variasi serta keunikan yang sangat beragam. Dalam pemasaran produk wisata, desa wisata di Bali banyak yang belum memanfaatkan dukungan Teknologi Informasi. Solusinya adalah membuat suatu media untuk mempertemukan pengelola desa wisata dengan wisatawan serta usaha-usaha yang menghasilkan produk wisata. Internet sebagai salah satu produk dari Teknologi Informasi terus mengalami perkembangan, merupakan sebuah media yang layak dicoba oleh desa wisata untuk mendukung pemasaran produk wisata dari desa wisata. Penggunaan internet untuk e-commerce telah lama berkembang dalam lingkup nasional dan internasional Penelitian ini menyajikan gagasan yang merupakan pemikiran awal penggunaan e-commerce terintegerasi dengan desa wisata di Provinsi Bali sebagai Pemasaran Produk Desa Wisata Berbasis Teknologi Informasi.Kata kunci : e-commerce, terintegrasi, produk wisata, pemasaran, desa wisataABSTRACTThe province of Bali in the period of 2015 – 2018 continues to encourage the development of tourism villages, and the tourism products that produced by tourism village in Bali has a characteristic, variation and uniqueness is very diverse. In the marketing of tourism products, many tourism villages in Bali have not utilized the support of information technology. The solution is to make a medium to bring together tourism village managers with tourists and businesses that produce tourism products. Internet as one of the products of information technology continues to develop, is a medium that is worth trying by the tourism village to support the marketing of tourism products. Internet use for e-commerce has long evolved within the national and international sphere. This research presents an idea that is an early thought of the use of e-commerce with tourism village in Bali Province as a product marketing of tourism village based on information technology.Keywords: e-commerce, integrated, tourism products, marketing, tourism village
