Abstract

Virtually, here are many factors affecting the career development of women, both external and internal factors (psychological). But researchers rarely discuss about fear of success as the most influential psychological factors on women's career development. Lately there have been many women leaders who indicated that women's career development is improving. Some literature and empirical research show that the higher the fear of succsess the lower the female spirit to compete for achievement, thus affecting the slow development of a woman's career, but there is also an opinion that the fear of success does not affect the development of a woman's career. It can be said that this difference of opinion is important to be examined, so that it can explain the real situation that happened to a woman career in Bali. This study aims to explain the process and mechanism of fear of success as a psychological factor affecting the career of women especially in Bali. Research method used in this study was qualitative research. The practical implication is that women are able to understand themselves internally psychological, so they could have the confidence in achieving success in the development of their careers. It is expected that companies and governments understand and tolerate women from the psychological side they experience. The orisinality statement on that Balinese women have the fear of success but can overcome it well because they obtains support from religious teachings or beliefs which is a deeply rooted cultural reflection and support from the family.

Abstract

Organizational Culture is a very important factor in improving organizational effectiveness. Organizational culture can be a major competitive advantage instrument, when organizational culture supports organizational strategies and can answer or overcome environmental challenges quickly and accurately. The Organizational culture "Undhira's Seven Characters" are: Self Confidence, Integrity, Pluralism, Intra-entrepreneurship, Servant Leadership, Professionalism, and Globaly. The study was conducted on 70 Undhira Management Study Program students who have completed 7 character learning. Based on the importance-performance analysis, the 14 indicators of 7 characters Undhira, only indicator of the Professional variable, namely Competent, who scores 103.23%, above 100%, this means that competent has been very strong effect to their behavior. But 13 other indicators have suitability levels below 100%, which means that the overall organizational culture of the 7 Characters Undhira have not been firmly rooted. Even so, it does not mean that the results obtained are bad, given the lowest suitability level of 80, 31% or above 50%, so the organizational culture of 7 characters can be well received, but the adaptation process must be carried out continuously. Based on the Cartesius Diagram, Quadrant A is an indicator whose handling needs to be prioritized, namely: Innovative capture opportunities, Ethics of superior work ethic, and Competitive collaboration interactions. Based on the Suitability Level Analysis, the indicator of competitive collaboration interaction needs to get the first priority in reform, because it has the lowest suitability level of 80.31 %. While the competent indicator gets the last priority because it has the highest suitability level of 103.23%.

Abstract

This article explores the application of production differentiation strategy by women empowerment through local wisdom of Nasi Koco in the herritage area, Gajah Mada Street, Denpasar-Bali. The purpose of this article is to increase the sales of Nasi Koco by implementing new strategies to win the competition in similar businesses that have sprung up. The strategy that can be offered is a product differentiation, so that the product is more varied and not monotonous, that attracts consumer interest. The product differentiation strategy offered refers more to women's empowerment through local wisdom, namely making products or food variations needed for ceremonies, where as we know people's lives in Bali are full of a series of religious ceremonies. The study employed qualitative approaches using narrative research by observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the study base on an in-depth interview with Balinese women who understand Balinese traditional culture, the advice that can be given is to make product variations, not just Nasi Jinggo or Nasi Wrap as usual, but to make it more varied. Suggested variations are Nasi Tumpeng, Nasi Yasa, and Nasi Kelangi, which are usually used for traditional activities in Bali.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOnline shopping sites are increasingly popping up lately. Many companies engaged in the sector of goods and services take advantage of this progress. A lot of interesting research can be done regarding online shopping sites. This study aims to analyze the impulse buying behavior by shopping life style and self-control toward online shop to the students in Denpasar Area. This research use 85 respondent through purposive sampling approach and regression techniques analysis. The conclusion is that shopping lifestyle has a positif efect on impulse buying behavior. Self-control has a positif efect on impulse buying behavior. Simultaneously shopping lifestyle and Self-control has positif efect on impulse buying behavior. Suggestions that can be conveyed to online shop owners are to further enhance the marketing and selling strategies of products through understanding lifestyle and self-control consumer to improve spontaneous buying online (impulse buying) that will increase sales of online products.Keywords: Shopping Lifestyle, Self-Control, Impulse BuyingABSTRAKSitus belanja online semakin banyak bermunculan akhir-akhir ini. Banyak perusahaan baik yang bergerak disektor barang maupun jasa memanfaatkan tantangan ini. Berbagai penelitian menarik dapat dilakukan terkait situs belanja online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku impulse buying akibat dari shopping lifestyle dan self-control mahasiswa di daerah Denpasar terhadap situs belanja online. Penelitian ini menggunakan 85 responden melalui pendekatan purposive sampling dan teknik analisis regresi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa shopping lifestyle berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku impulse buying. Self-control berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku impulse buying. Secara simultan shopping lifestyle dan self-control berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku impulse buying mahasiswa pada situs belanja online. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada pemilik situs belanja online agar lebih meningkatkan strategi pemasaran dan penjualan produk melalui pemahaman perilaku konsumen yang ditinjau dari gaya berbelanja (shopping lifestyle) dan kontrol diri (self-control) untuk mendorong perilaku belanja online secara spontan (impulse buying) sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya penjualan produk online.Kata kunci: Shopping Lifestyle, Self Control, Impulse Buying

Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang disoroti dalam penelitian ini yaitu : rendahnya kinerja manajemen pembelajaran di kalangan para guru Mata Pelajaran di kalangan para guru mata pelajaran dan kelemahan pendekatan supervisi konvensional (satu arah(dalam kelemahan). Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan supervisi dialogis terhadap kinerja manajemen pembelajaran guru mata pelajaran di SMK Negeri 3 Tabanan. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen pendekatan penelitian yang di gunakan adalah penelitian kombinasi (mix methods), yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik quisioner, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear.Kata kunci: Supervisi dialogis, kinerja manajemen pembelajaran.ABSTRACTThe problems highlighted in this study are: the low performance of learning management among subject teachers among subject teachers and the weaknesses of the conventional supervision approach (one way (in weakness). The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine the effect of applying Dialogical supervision of the learning management performance of subject teachers at Tabanan State Vocational School 3. Abstract

ABSTRACTDevelopments in the banking world that offer a convenient way to transact with the use of Cashless Payment, which is a method of payment without cash. It is used by companies to provide convenience to consumers. According to Survey (Daily Social Id, 2017) that the Indonesian people still use 41.9% of the cash respondents. The purpose of this study is to determine the user behavior of cashless payment on purchases at retail outlets. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with an interpretative phenomenology approach. Data extraction techniques used in-depth interviews in 10 community informants in Badung Regency. Millennials' behavior prefers to use cashless payments compared to generation x. The ease and benefits offered by service providers can be utilized properly by the millennial generation. Whereas Generation X will use a cashless payment if he/she doesn’t bring cash and prefers to use cash because it feels more comfortable and faster in making transactions.Keywords: Behavior, Cashless Payment, RetailABSTRAKPerkembangan dalam dunia perbankan yang menawarkan cara nyaman dalam bertansaksi dengan penggunaan Cashless Payment, yaitu cara pembayaran tanpa uang tunai. Hal dimanfaatkan oleh perusahaan untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada konsumen. Menurut Data Survei (Daily Social Id, 2017) bahwa masyarakat Indonesia masih menggunakan uang tunai sebanyak 41,9 % Responden. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perilaku pengguna cashless payment pada pembelian di gerai retail. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi interpretatif. Teknik penggalian data menggunakan wawancara mendalam (in depht interview) pada 10 informan masyarakat di Kabupaten Badung. Perilaku generasi milenial lebih memilih menggunakan cashless payment dibandingkan dengan generasi x. Kemudahan dan keuntungan yang ditawarkan oleh penyedia layanan dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh generasi milenial. Sedangkan generasi X akan menggunakan cashless payment apabila tidak membawa uang tunai dan lebih memilih menggunakan uang tunai karena dirasa lebih nyaman dan cepat dalam bertransaksi.Kata kunci: Perilaku, Cashless Payment, Retail

Abstract

ABSTRAKEtika kepemimpinan dapat menjadi faktor kompetitif dalam menggerakkan dan mengakselerasi peningkatan integritas dan kepercayaan anggota organisasi. Etika kepemimpinan berdasarkan kearifan lokal yaitu Catur Paramitha, digunakan sebagai dasar dalam membangun etika kepemimpinan modern. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana Catur Paramitha yang merupakan filosofi budaya Bali dapat diterjemahkan ke dalam etika kepemimpinan modern. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif yang di dukung referensi dan pengalaman dalam memaknai sudut pandang filososofi budaya mendeskripsikan etika kepemimpinan modern. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa etika kepemimpinan Catur Paramitha merupakan pedoman pemimpin dalam mengambil keputusan berdasarkan empat macam sifat dan sikap utama yang patut dijadikan landasan berorganisasi, yaitu; Maitri (memandang orang lain sebagai sahabat), Karuna (memberikan bantuan kepada siapa saja yang membutuhkan), Mudita (selalu bersimpati pada orang lain), Upeksa (toleransi dan menghargai orang lain). Etika kepemimpinan Catur Paramitha erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan dan budaya masyarakat Bali, namun pemaknaannya dapat diadopsi dalam kehidupan berorganisasi baik bisnis maupun non-bisnis. Landasan filosofi Catur Paramitha dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam mengimplemetasikan etika kepemimpinan modern.Kata Kunci: Etika Kepemimpinan, Catur Paramitha, Budaya, Filosofi, Kompetitif.ABSTRACTEthical leadership can be a competitive factor in driving and accelerating the integrity and trust increase of organizational members. Leadership ethics based on local wisdom, namely Catur Paramitha, is used as a basis for building modern leadership ethics. The purpose of this study is to understand how Catur Paramitha which is a Balinese cultural philosophy can be translated into modern leadership ethics. The research methodology uses an exploratory qualitative approach supported by references and experience in interpreting the cultural philosophy point of view describing modern leadership ethics. The results obtained show that the leadership ethics of Catur Paramitha is a guideline for leaders in making decisions based on four main characteristics and attitudes that should be used as the basis for organization, namely; Maitri (viewing other people as friends), Karuna (providing help to anyone who needs it), Mudita (always sympathizing with others), Upeksa (tolerance and respect for others). Catur Paramitha's leadership ethic is closely related to the life and culture of the Balinese people, but its meaning can be adopted in organizational life, both business and non-business. The foundation of the Catur Paramitha philosophy can be used as a guide in implementing modern leadership ethics. Keywords: Leadership Ethics, Catur Paramitha, Culture, Philosophy, Competitiveness.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerempuan Bali yang telah menikah memiliki setidaknya tiga peran (triple roles) yaitu perankeluarga, peran ekonomi dan peran adat-keagamaan. Setiap peran yang dimiliki olehperempuan Bali memiliki kewajiban dan tugas-tugas yang harus dilakukan. Tujuan daripenelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui sejauh mana triple roles ini memberi dampak padaproteksi ketahanan keluarga. Metodelogi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatifeksploratif dengan didukung berbagai referensi dan pengalaman dalam memaknai peranperempuan Bali pada ketahanan keluarga. Hasil dari artikel ini adalah memberikan pandanganbahwa perempuan Bali merupakan individu yang kuat inilah yang membuat perempuan Balidiberikan banyak tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam setiap peran yang dimiliki karena dianggapselalu mampu untuk menyelesaikannya. Peran keluarga yang menuntut seorang perempuanmenjadi istri yang ideal, ibu yang baik serta tugas rumah tangga yang harus diselesaikan.Tuntutan peran ekonomi berupa tugas kantor dan tanggung jawab pekerjaan yang juga harusdiselesaikan. Serta tugas dari peran adat dan keagamaan yang merupakan tanggung jawabperempuan Bali tidak hanya kepada keluarga, melainkan juga kepada masyarakat.Kata kunci: Triple Roles, Perempuan Bali, Ketahanan Keluarga

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini memiliki benefit untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan kecerdasan emosional, kompetensi, dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Lokasi penelitian ini di BPR Mayun Utama Perdana. Populasi disini menggunakan sampel pegawai BPR Mayun Utama Perdana dan 67 responden. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil yaitu: (1) Kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,887 dan nilai signifikansi 0,005. (2) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 3,996 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. (3) Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana nilai t hitung sejumlah -3.329 nilai signifikansinya adalah 0,001. Analisis Determinasi sebesar 51,7%. Saran ataupun masukan khusus yang dapat peneliti berikan adalah agar BPR Mayun Utama Perdana melakukan pembinaan kepada pegawai tentang kecerdasan emosional, memberikan pelatihan kepada pegawai untuk meningkatkan kompetensi, meningkatkan kualitas peralatan kerja dan memotivasi pegawai yang berguna menurunkan stres kerja.Kata kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Kompetensi, Stres Kerja dan Kinerja KaryawanABSTRACTThis research has the benefit of knowing about the partial and simultaneous effects of emotional intelligence, competence, and work stress on employee performance. The location of this research is BPR Mayun Utama Perdana. The population here uses a sample of Mayun Utama Perdana BPR employees and 67 respondents. The results of the research that has been done are: (1) Emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a t-count of 2.887 and a significance value of 0.005. (2) Competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 3.996 and a significance value of 0.000. (3) Work stress has a significant negative effect on employee performance, where the t value is -3,329, the significance value is 0.001. Determination analysis of 51.7%. Specific suggestions or input that researchers can provide are for BPR Mayun Utama Perdana to provide guidance to employees regarding emotional intelligence, provide training to employees to increase competence, improve the quality of work equipment and motivate employees which is useful for reducing work stress.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Competence, Job Stress and Employee Performance
