Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan hubungan pelayanan Pastoral dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat, hubungan antara kepemimpinan gembala menurut 1Petrus 5:2 dengan pertumbuhan kerohaniaan jemaat dan hubungan pelayaan pastoral dan kepemimpinan gembala menurut 1Petrus 5:2 secara bersama-sama dengan pertumbuhan kerohaniaan jemaat. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional yang dipergunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang terjadi antara variabel yang diteliti. Nilai korelasi pelayanan pastoral dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat sebesar 0,237 atau 5,62%. Nilai korelasi kepemimpinan gembala dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat sebesar 0,383 atau 14,67%.. Nilai korelasi pelayanan pastoral dan kepemimpinan gembala dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat sebesar 0,423 atau 17,9%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan pastoral memiliki hubungan positif rendah dan searah dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat, kepemimpinan gembala memiliki hubungan rendah dan searah dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat, pelayanan pastoral dan kepemimpinan gembala secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh dan mempunyai hubungan positif yang cukup kuat dengan pertumbuhan kerohanian jemaat

Abstract

This research aims to describe emotional stewardship, characteristics of healthy and unhealthy emotions, Biblical emotions, personality formation, personality traits and the correlation between personality and emotional stewardship. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. The research results reveal that a good steward is able to regulate his emotional condition in any condition and situation, and is responsible for it before God. A steward should have healthy emotions, namely not using God as an excuse to run away from Him, releasing negative emotions, accepting the impact of mistakes in the past to learn to be better in the future, living a balanced life between spirituality and the secular, always communing with God. Researchers emphasize that before someone is appointed as a steward in the church, it is better to have guidance both in terms of personality and emotions between fellow workers. Another alternative is to carry out a personality test so that you can find out what the characteristics of the steward are so that you can assess yourself and others. In this way, it is hoped that you will be able to be open to each other and accept the shortcomings and weaknesses of each worker. Researchers concluded that personality is able to influence someone in carrying out emotional stewardship.

Abstract

Certain church groups or denominations have recently given rise to movements that oppose or are even hostile to custom or tradition, such as those that oppose ulos giving. Arguments opposing the rejection of Batak ulos are frequently illogical and lack a thorough understanding of this culture. Therefore, the goal of this article is to educate the Batak community by presenting the Christian ethical perspective of the Batak ulos' local wisdom values. This will help to prevent the widespread rejection of the Batak people's usage of ulos as their identity. The research methodology employed in this qualitative study is library research and interviews with several sources. The study's findings demonstrate that, when viewed through the lens of Christian ethics, the local wisdom values found in Batak ulos are not in conflict with one another but rather align with God's word. As a result, this essay can significantly aid in educating Batak people from different religious backgrounds on the importance of local wisdom and how the Bible views these values.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of inclusive-based transformative Christian leadership in supporting the empowerment of persons with disabilities in Christian disability institutions in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative research method in the form of library research, which involves collecting, studying, and drawing conclusions from sources such as articles, journals, and books related to the discussed topic. The analysis indicates that inclusive-based transformative Christian leadership promotes a paradigm shift in the management of disability institutions. Leaders who apply the values of love, justice, and respect for diversity succeed in creating a collaborative environment that prioritizes the active participation of persons with disabilities in decision-making processes. Inclusive-based transformative Christian leadership not only addresses the needs of disability institutions but also reflects the Christian mission of serving with love, justice, and respect for all individuals

Abstract

ABSTRACTTransformative Christian leadership is the leadership of a leader who is able to influence changes first to the people being led and second to the organization being led. The purpose of this study is to see the role of transformative Christian leadership in its responsibility to society. This qualitative research method (library research) using Miles and Huberman data analysis consisting of four stages (data collection, data display, data selection or data selection (condensation data) and conclusion). The results of this study indicate that the role of transformative Christian leadership is to bring change to society through the people being led and the organization being led. Transformative Christian leadership both in the church and other Christian organizations has a responsibility to bring better change to the wider community.Keywords: Christian Transformative Leaders, responsibility, Church, Society. ABSTRAKKepemimpinan Kristen transformatif adalah kepemimpinan seorang pemimpin yang mampu memberikan pengaruh yang membawa perubahan pertama-tama terhadap orang yang dipimpin dan kedua organisasi yang dipimpin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran kepemimpinan Kristen transformatif dalam tanggung jawabnya terhadap masyarakat. Metode penelitian kualitatif ini adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan menggunakan analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari empat tahap: pengumpulan data (data collection), penyajian data (data display), pemilihan data atau seleksi data (data condesation) dan kesimpulan (conclusion). Hasil dari penelitian in menunjukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan Kristen transformatif adalah membawa perubahan bagi masyarakat melalui orang-orang yang dipimpin maupun organisasi yang dipimpin. Kepemimpinan Kristen transformatif baik di gereja maupun organisasi Kristen lainnya memiliki tanggung jawab untuk membawa perubahan yang lebih baik bagi masyarakat luas.  Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Kristen Transformatif, Tanggung Jawab, Gereja, Masyarakat.

Abstract

Generation Z is a unique generation. They are born and grew up in a rapid advancing technological era, especially digital technology. Yet, churches often ignore their uniqueness so that the services they hold are not aligned to Generation Z style. Therefore, Churches need to provide special strategies to embrace and reach them through contextual services. Starting from this case, the research aims to find strategies in holding a contextual services for generation Z in the digital era. This research is qualitative descriptive with a literature study method.The result of the research show three important strategies that must be considered to develop contextual services, firstly a partnership-based service strategy, secondly a needs-based service strategy, and thirdly a technology-based service strategy.

Abstract

Christian leaders often fail to recognize the importance of good communication skills in this digital era to build a trustworthy, strong ministry. That is why conflicts and even divisions often occur. The purpose of this study is to determine the urgency of good communication skills in the digital era in Christian leadership to build trust in the ministry team. This qualitative research uses a literature study method by applying three data analysis steps presented by Santana. The results of the study illustrate that a leader must pay attention to good communication aspects in the digital era, such as humanistic, persuasive communication, easy-to-understand language style, respecting and honoring and providing adequate responses, seeking direct face-to-face interaction, and so on. Thus, it will encourage the creation and development of commitment and cooperation within the ministry team, which will have an impact on performance and the level of satisfaction with the performance and services provided to the congregation. AbstrakPemimpin Kristen sering kurang menyadari pentingnya kemampuan komunikasi yang baik di era digital ini untuk membangun kepercayaan tim pelayanan yang solid. Itu sebabnya sering terjadinya konflik dan bahkan perpecahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui urgensi kemampuan komunikasi yang baik di era digital dalam kepemimpinan Kristen untuk membangun kepercayaan tim pelayanan. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menerapkan tiga langkah analisis data yang disampaikan Santana. Hasil penelitian memberi gambaran bahwa seorang pemimpin harus memperhatikan aspek-aspek komunikasi yang baik di era digital seperti komunikasi yang humanis, persuasif, gaya bahasa yang mudah dimengerti, menghargai dan menghormati serta memberikan respons yang memadai, mengupayakan interaksi langsung tatap muka, dan lain sebagainya. Dengan demikian akan mendorong tercipta dan terbangunnya komitmen dan kerja sama di dalam tim pelayanan yang berdampak pada kinerja dan tingkat kepuasan terhadap kinerja dan pelayanan yang diberikan kepada jemaat.

Abstract

This study examines the theological discourse surrounding grace and the Torah, a subject that has generated considerable debate among contemporary Christian communities. A prevalent view asserts that the grace made available through the death of Jesus Christ renders the Torah obsolete, thereby releasing Christians from its observance. In contrast, another perspective upholds the continued relevance of the Torah, particularly the Ten Commandments, as a moral and spiritual foundation. This ongoing debate underscores the need for a more nuanced understanding of the relationship between grace and the Torah in the context of Christian life today. Accordingly, the objective of this research is to investigate the potential harmonisation between grace and the Torah within contemporary Christian practice. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this study utilises a literature review method, drawing primarily on biblical texts and supplemented by relevant peer-reviewed scholarly sources. The findings suggest that grace and the Torah need not be viewed in opposition, but rather as complementary aspects of Christian ethics and spirituality. From both philosophical and moral perspectives, the study affirms that Christians—whether they emphasise divine grace or Torah observance—are equally called to embody a life of moral integrity and ethical responsibility.

Abstract

Relevansi fenomena childfree dan perintah beranakcucu menurut Kejadian 1:28 menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini. Dimana penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam dari Firman Tuhan di Kejadian 1:28, khususnya mengenai perintah "beranakcucu" serta memahami alasan dibalik fenomena childfree. Pada masa sekarang, pilihan untuk hidup childfree sering dipertanyakan karena dianggap bertentangan dengan perintah Tuhan untuk memiliki keturunan. Fenomena ini menjadi semakin relevan seiring dengan perubahan sosial dan budaya yang mempengaruhi pandangan individu terhadap pernikahan dan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian kualitatif kepustakaan, dengan meninjau berbagai sumber seperti buku dan artikel yang membahas fenomena ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tren childfree semakin meningkat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, dimana banyak individu dan pasangan memilih untuk tidak memiliki anak dengan berbagai alasan. Kesimpulannya mereka yang memilih gaya hidup childfree tidak menjalankan perintah Allah sebagaimana yang tertulis dalam Kejadian 1:28. Sebagai umat percaya, manusia dipanggil untuk melakukan kehendah Tuhan, termasuk berkontribusi dalam "menciptakan" generasi baru sesuai dengan gambarNya dan memenuhi bumi sebagaimana rencanaNya. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi umat beriman untuk memahami perintah Tuhan secara lebih mendalam dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan nyata.
