Abstract

Stunting gives negative impacts for children’s cognitive developments, emotions, behaviors, education, productivity, and disease when they grow up. Hence, one of the efforts to reduce the prevalence of stunting is to increase nutritional knowledge and functional food processing skills for stunted toddlers’ mothers. This activity was applied in the Family Group at the East Padang District Nutrition House collaborating with the East Padang District Health Center. The previous research findings showed that the Protein and Mineral of Moringa leaf Nuggets, one of the processed food innovations, has exceeded the nutritional standards according to the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation Number 51 of 2016 concerning Nutritional Supplementation Product Standards. The purpose of this activity is to increase the parents’ understanding of nutrition. Because of this digital era, it is needed to educate and assist stunted toddlers’ parents through digital literacy regarding nutritional standards for toddlers and food processing training to increase toddlers' body mass. There are three stages done in applying technological methods are 1) Socialization; 2) Training; 3) Evaluation. The evaluation’s result of providing knowledge and training to stunted toddlers’ mothers is that the knowledge and skills of stunted toddlers’ mothers is increased by 86.67%. In short, training for stunted toddlers’ mothers regarding innovations in Moringa leaf food processing that are nuggets, meatballs and Fantasy tofu, additional food for stunted toddlers, has significantly increased mothers’ knowledge and skills.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan semakin penting, dan game edukatif menjadi pendekatan efektif untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Pengembangan aplikasi game edukasi berbasis Android untuk mengenalkan bagian tubuh manusia menjadi langkah cerdas, memanfaatkan minat anak-anak terhadap teknologi. Aplikasi ini bertujuan memperkenalkan bagian tubuh secara interaktif, disertai gambar, dan informasi tentang fungsi dan peran masing-masing bagian. Fitur interaktif, seperti pengenalan nama bagian tubuh, diterapkan melalui antarmuka yang menarik. Keunggulan aplikasi ini adalah fleksibilitas akses, memungkinkan siswa belajar di mana saja. Selain itu, hasil pembuatan aplikasi ini telah berhasil dirancang dengan model pengenalan bagian tubuh luar manusia dan disertakan kuis pengenalan berupa bagian kepala, badan, tangan, dan kaki dengan level easy, medium, dan hard. Kombinasi antara model pengenalan dan kuis interaktif dengan tingkat kesulitan yang bervariasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa tentang struktur tubuh manusia dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Kontribusi aplikasi ini dalam memperkaya pengalaman belajar anak-anak menjadikannya sarana efektif untuk pembelajaran yang berkesan.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah sebuah usaha menaikkan sumber mutu manusia, target dari pendidikan nasioanal ialah memajukan kapasitas dan membangun karakter serta perdapan bangsa yang mempunyai maksud untuk memajukan kemampuan yang dimiliki peserta didik agar menajadi manusia bermutu. Agar dapat menggapai target pendidikan yang sesuai , maka mutu pendidikan harus dinaikkan spesifikasinya terhadap media dan metode belajar mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang modul pembelajaran berbasis android yang valid dan praktis di SMK Dhuafa padang ajaran 2023/2024. Dengan adanya teknologi berbasis android akan mempermudahkan proses belajar mengajar di SMK Dhuafa padang.

Abstract

Educational games are one of the effective educational media to increase children's knowledge in recognizing things around us such as household tools that will often be encountered, with the help of game applications it is hoped that they can help young children know the names of tools and their functions besides Educational games can also train children's cognitive and motor skills in learning something in a fun way to achieve the goal of creating a system methodology application that will be used, namely the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) approach. This method will be applied as a reference in building game applications. education according to the stages and steps in building the application to achieve a more interactive game.

Abstract

Motor vehicle washing is a service industry that is in demand, especially in big cities, because of the high number of vehicles owned by people. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2020 shows that Indonesia has 136,320,000 motorized vehicles, including motorbikes, passenger cars, trucks and buses. One of the providers of motor vehicle washing services in Padang City is Labuhan Car Wash, which offers various washing packages with various facilities. However, Labuhan Car Wash faces challenges in the ordering process due to inefficiency and ineffectiveness. In this modern era, information technology such as Android-based cell phone systems play an important role in streamlining processes and saving time. Therefore, an efficient system is needed to facilitate the process of ordering a vehicle wash. One solution is the development of an Android-based vehicle wash ordering system which not only makes it easier for customers to order and pay for vehicle wash services, but also helps business owners manage their business data and information. By implementing this system, it is hoped that it can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the vehicle wash ordering process at Labuhan Car Wash.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based information system to support marketing activities and improve customer outreach at PT. Barokah Aulia Mastur, a local business engaged in fish feed sales. The company currently faces limitations in its promotional methods, relying solely on conventional practices such as social media and walk-in customers, which hinders its ability to reach new markets. To address this issue, a Research and Development (R&D) method was employed, using the Waterfall model to guide the system development process through structured phases: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, literature review, and laboratory work. The resulting system was tested using black-box testing to ensure its functional reliability. The study concludes that the implementation of a web-based sales system enhances accessibility, increases promotional reach, and improves the efficiency of transaction records and customer engagement. This system provides a scalable solution for small and medium enterprises aiming to compete in the digital economy.

Abstract

Violence against children and women is a serious issue that threatens welfare, security, and human rights. In Padang Pariaman Regency, particularly in Nagari Kasang, cases still occur that reflect the community's low awareness of legal protection mechanisms. This outreach activity aims to increase public understanding of legal protection for children and women in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence and Law No. 35 of 2014 on Child Protection. The implementation methods included interactive legal lectures, group discussions, educational video screenings, and case reporting simulations to the authorities. Evaluation results from pre-tests and post-tests indicated a significant improvement in participants’ legal knowledge, from an average of 58% to 87%. The community also demonstrated increased awareness in reporting violence cases to the relevant authorities. Supporting factors included the commitment of local government officials and participants’ enthusiasm, while challenges faced were patriarchal culture and limited complaint facilities. This activity proves that community-based participatory outreach is effective in promoting violence prevention and strengthening legal protection for victims.

Abstract

Athlete data management is an essential aspect of sports development, particularly for organizations such as the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI). In KONI Pesisir Selatan Regency, athlete data collection has traditionally been conducted manually, leading to various issues such as delays in information processing, data entry errors, and difficulties in archiving. This study aims to design and develop a web-based athlete data management information system to improve efficiency and accuracy in data handling. The development method applied is the Waterfall model, which includes stages of problem identification, data collection, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system was implemented using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. Testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method, and the results showed that all system functions operated as intended, including athlete and coach data management, training schedules, and report generation. This system has proven to enhance speed, accuracy, and organization in athlete data management compared to the previously used manual method.

Abstract

The manual attendance process still used at the Wali Nagari Siguntur Office causes several issues, such as reporting delays, potential data manipulation, and difficulties in monitoring employee attendance. To address these problems, this study aims to design and develop a web-based employee attendance application that supports more effective and efficient attendance recording and leave requests. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a system development model, which includes stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system was tested using the black box method to ensure all application features function properly. The test results show that the system performs well, covering features such as multi-user login, check-in and check-out recording, leave submission, and report generation. The implementation of this application significantly improves the efficiency of attendance management, reduces potential errors, and facilitates real-time monitoring of employee presence.
