Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate how the Purdue learning model can be implemented in accelerated classes to enhance students' high-level mathematical thinking skills. The method used in this study is called Classroom Action Research (PTK). This study only included students enrolled in accelerated classes as subjects. In this study, 100 people made up the sample. Field notes, interviews, observations, and diaries were all forms of qualitative data. A checkpoint is used to express quantitative data at the conclusion of each cycle. According to a combined data analysis, during the study period using the Purdue model, students' classroom activities improved in speed. This increase in activity involves verbal, written, visual, motor, cerebral, and emotional activities as well as writing, drawing, and writing. Mental and emotional activities are the most crucial kind of activity. Conversely, speaking and sketching exercises are given less emphasis. Students in accelerated classes generally report that they gain from Purdue's methodology of increased learning. The majority of students claimed that because they like studying in groups and found it challenging to finish the assignments provided at each meeting, studying under the Purdue model was more pleasurable. Nevertheless, several students responded negatively, stating that they did not understand the questions or the learning approach and that they wanted the researcher to clarify things immediately.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model on students' math learning outcomes at YPK 1 Hamadi Elementary School. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The sample selection technique used was random sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 2 groups, namely: the experimental group numbered 32 students, the control group numbered 32 students. This research was analyzed using SPSS 29 with normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using t test. The results of hypothesis submission obtained the value of tcount> ttable which is 5.772> 0.1.669 thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference from learning using the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model on student math learning outcomes at SD YPK 1 Hamadi. Abstract

Abstract Science education in elementary schools requires teaching materials that not only contain concepts but also connect the material to the real environment of the students. This study aims to develop a science e-module based on the local potential of Bantimurung National Park's natural attractions as teaching materials to support science learning in line with the Merdeka Curriculum. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D development model, which includes the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages, with limitations on limited trials. The research subjects involved subject matter experts, media experts, classroom teachers, and 15 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively by converting the scores into qualitative categories. The results showed that the developed science e-module received a very feasible rating from subject matter experts and media experts, and was considered practical and easy to understand by teachers and students. The integration of local potential in conservation areas makes science learning more contextual and relevant to the learning experiences of students. Therefore, the science e-module based on the local potential of Bantimurung National Park is suitable for use as teaching material to support science learning in elementary schools. Abstract

Penumbuhan pariwisata di Kota Jayapura, terutama di Kawasan perairan kampung Kayopulo, telah menyebabkan banyak masalah, termasuk degradasi lingkungan, pencemaran lingkungan, dan masalah sampah laut. Salah satu cara yang dapat membantu menjaga kebersihan pesisir adalah dengan melakukan upaya proaktif dari bagian masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan kesadaran kepada masyarakat lokal dan wisatawan tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan pesisir dan bagaimana sampah yang dihasilkan memengaruhi perkembangan biota dan ekosistem kepulauan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode observasi, deskriptif, dan partisipasi seperti kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan "persuasif-edukatif" untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang cara menangani pencemaran pesisir. Kegiatan tersebut diadakan di Kampung Kayopulo, dan dihadiri oleh 35 orang peserta yang terdiri dari masyarakat, mahasiswa, dosen dan Yayasan Noken Peduli Papua. Program ini dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik dan berjalan lancar sesuai dengan rencana kegiatan. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya akan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan mencegah pencemaran lingkungan pesisir, tetapi juga akan membuat pantai lebih bersih, menarik lebih banyak wisatawan.
