Abstract

In the past decade, global awareness regarding sustainability has increased, fueling greater demand for socially and environmentally responsible business practices. This has led to the development of sustainable marketing as a key strategy for companies to not only meet consumer expectations but also to act as leaders in sustainability. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of sustainable marketing in creating value for consumers and companies. The study conducted in this research uses the literature research method. The results show that authenticity, transparent communication, and meaningful interaction with consumers are key factors in the effectiveness of sustainable marketing. Long- term success is also closely related to the company's ability to effectively integrate sustainability efforts into all aspects of business operations, from procurement to point of sale. The findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach to sustainability marketing to create substantial value for consumers, increase brand loyalty, and positively influence firm performance.

Abstract

Religious extracurricular activities towards strengthening students' Islamic identity refer to a series of activities outside the formal school curriculum designed to deepen the understanding and practice of Islamic teachings among students. The research method used in this study is the literature research method. The results showed that religious extracurricular activities not only strengthen individuals' spiritual understanding and experience, but also promote the application of ethical values in daily life. In addition, these activities support the development of social skills and empathy, and facilitate positive interactions between students from diverse faith backgrounds, encouraging inclusivity and cross-cultural understanding. Finally, this study confirms that religious extracurricular activities play an important role in the formation of communal and personal identities, strengthening individuality while valuing diversity. The implications of the findings suggest that schools should consider including or further developing religious extracurricular programs as an integral part of character education, supporting the formation of ethical, tolerant, and actively contributing young people in a plural society.

Abstract

The evolution of consumption taxes, particularly Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax, has played an important role in the country's revenue structure and its impact on the economy. VAT, where tax is levied on value added at every stage of production and distribution, is different from Sales Tax which is levied only at the final stage of sale to consumers. While both taxes aim to generate revenue, they have different mechanisms, administrative efficiency, and economic effects. VAT is considered more effective in generating revenue without disrupting significant economic activity, while Sales Tax is often criticised for its regressive and potentially distortive nature. The study conducted in this research uses literature research method. The results show that while consumption tax provides a stable source of revenue and increases taxpayer compliance, its structure can have a negative impact, particularly on low-income families, due to its regressive nature. Further investigations address the impact of consumption taxes on consumer behaviour and market dynamics, highlighting how the structure of tax rates affects the affordability of goods and consumer choice. Finally, this study offers suggestions for policy formulation with a balanced approach to ensure that the social and economic benefits of consumption taxes are maximised, while mitigating potential unintended consequences that could hamper overall economic growth.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology (IT) has redefined the way schools manage their resources and administrative processes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of IT in improving administrative management in schools and identify its significant impact on the efficiency of school organizations. The research method used in this study is the literature method. The results of this study show that IT plays a crucial role in easing the daily operations of schools, such as automated attendance, scheduling, financial administration and student performance tracking. The use of SIS has provided a strong foundation for schools to manage big data more effectively, facilitating data-driven decision-making and transparency in communication. Furthermore, the LMS and online collaboration tools have improved communication between staff, students and parents, enabling a more inclusive and responsive learning environment. Despite significant improvements, challenges related to data privacy, cybersecurity, as well as the need for proper training for staff remain obstacles.
