Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in enhancing creativity and collaboration among seventh-grade students in Islamic Religious Education Al-’Alim, Al-Khabir, Al-Sami material at SMPN 24 Batanghari. Although the research instrument showed inadequate reliability (Cronbach's Alpha 0.504), statistical tests revealed that the PjBL model had a positive impact on student learning outcomes. The posttest t-test indicated a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with the experimental class showing higher average posttest scores. While the Anova test did not show significant average differences between the two groups, the PjBL model demonstrated improvements in student creativity and collaboration in the experimental class. This study highlights the potential of PjBL in enhancing IRE education and recommends further research to refine the instruments and methodologies used.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Penyakit infeksi masih menjadi penyebab utama kesakitan dan kematian, khususnya pada anak-anak. Di Indonesia, berdasarkan data pada tahun 2005, sebanyak 28% kematian anak masih disebabkan oleh infeksi yakni infeksi saluran pernapasan. Salah satu penyakit infeksi yang sering terjadi pada bayi dan balita adalah pneumonia. Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksi saluran pernapasan yang mengenai jaringan paru-paru. Tujuan: Untuk mensosialisasikan pencegahan penyakit pneumonia pada anak. Metode: Penelitian yang dilakukan melalui ceramah dan menggunakan media leaflet mengenai sosialisasi penyakit pneumonia pada anak. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 5 Januari 2024 di Puskesmas Satelit Pahoman, Tanjung Agung Raya. Materi sosialisasi yang diberikan yaitu pengertian, penyebab, tanda dan gejala, penatalaksanaan, serta pencegahan pneumonia. Materi disampaikan selama 15 menit dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab selama 5 menit. Hasil: Salah satu faktor penyebab pneumonia adalah lingkungan dan udara yang tidak sehat. Anak yang tinggal di lingkungan yang padat, sirkulasi udara yang buruk, serta keluarga yang merokok berpotensi lebih besar terkena penyakit ini. Sehingga dalam pencegahannya, menjaga lingkungan dan udara tetap bersih sangat penting untuk dilakukan Simpulan: Penyebab paling umum pneumonia adalah virus dan bakteri, diikuti oleh jamur dan parasit. Pneumonia juga dapat dikatakan sebagai komplikasi dari penyakit yang lain terutama penyakit yang terjadi secara kronis. Kata Kunci: Anak; Kesehatan Masyarakat; Pneumonia.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of character education in building noble morals among Grade VIII students at MTs Darul Hadist Hutabaringin in Mandailing Natal Regency. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include students, teachers, the head of the madrasah, and parents. The findings reveal that character education at MTs Darul Hadist Hutabaringin is integrated into daily learning through teacher role models, extracurricular activities such as scouting and spiritual studies, and parental involvement in supporting school programs. Teachers play a significant role in instilling moral values, while extracurricular activities provide a space for students to practice these values outside the classroom. The study also identifies challenges, such as external environmental influences, particularly social media, which may hinder students’ internalization of character values. Additionally, limitations in time and resources pose obstacles to the optimal implementation of character education. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of stronger collaboration between schools, parents, and the community to reinforce character education. Continuous evaluation and innovation are also necessary to address technological challenges, ensuring character education remains relevant and effective in shaping a morally upright generation.

Abstract

Ontology is one of the studies of philosophy. As a branch of philosophy, ontology aims to investigate and abstract the nature of complete reality which is single, absolute and eternal. The study discusses the existence of something concrete. Ontology discusses reality or an entity for what it is. Discussing ontology means discussing the truth of a fact. To get that truth, ontology requires a process of how the reality can be recognized as true. This research uses the SRL (systematic literature review) method. Data collection is obtained from the results of data collection from similar previous studies. The journals obtained and used in this study were 15 National journals from the google sholar database. The results obtained in this study are that Ontology is a study of the nature of existence or reality, has a very close and fundamental relationship with various fields of science. Each discipline has a different ontology, reflecting fundamental assumptions about what they study and how they understand it.

Abstract

Di era digital yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi yang pesat, pendidikan menghadapi tantangan serius dalam menjaga integritas moral dan etika peserta didik. Filsafat ilmu, sebagai cabang filsafat yang menelaah hakikat dan penerapan pengetahuan, memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk fondasi etis dalam dunia pendidikan. Studi ini menyoroti bagaimana filsafat ilmu memberikan kontribusi strategis dalam mengarahkan pendidikan agar tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan ilmu dan teknologi, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter yang bertanggung jawab, bijak, dan berintegritas. Filsafat ilmu menawarkan kerangka berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan rasional yang mendorong integrasi nilai-nilai moral ke dalam kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, serta pemanfaatan teknologi secara etis. Konsep-konsep ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis dalam filsafat ilmu membantu membentuk siswa yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga matang secara moral. Pendidikan etika digital, kesadaran sosial-kultural, dan evaluasi kritis terhadap dampak teknologi menjadi aspek penting dalam membentuk generasi yang mampu menggunakan teknologi secara bertanggung jawab. Peran guru dan orang tua juga menjadi kunci dalam aktualisasi nilai-nilai filosofis dalam kehidupan peserta didik. Dengan demikian, filsafat ilmu berkontribusi signifikan dalam menjaga arah pendidikan tetap berada dalam koridor kemanusiaan yang luhur di tengah arus globalisasi dan digitalisasi.

Abstract

Background: First visit (K1) is the contact of pregnant women for the first time with health workers for health checks and health services in the first trimester, where the pregnancy is 1 to 12 weeks, including identity / bio, pregnancy history, obstetric history, medical history, history. Socioe conomic, and pregnancy. Objective: to see the relationship between knowledge and participation of health workers with pregnant women in the first trimester of the first visit (K1). Methods: This type of research used a cross sectional study design with sampling using simple random sampling obtained 56 respondents. Results: it was found that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (PV value = 0.016> α = 0.05), income (PV value = 0.012> α = 0.05), the role of health workers (PV value = 0.003> α = 0.05) First visit (K1) achievements. Suggestion: increase information to pregnant women who discuss the importance of checking their pregnancies in the first trimester by providing information that is conveyed in the form of counseling to mothers, namely through direct communication media or with assistance. Abstract

The sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) depends heavily on a well-organized financial management system. Es Teh Janji Jihan, an MSME operating in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, faced challenges with its conventional financial documentation and administration, lacking a clear structure. This community service program aimed to provide mentoring designed to develop entrepreneurs’ financial management skills through the implementation of the “Catatan Keuanganku” application. The approach included field observations, coaching sessions, ongoing assistance, and outcome assessments. The results demonstrated substantial progress in the business owner’s ability to document daily transactions, separate operational funds from personal funds, and prepare structured financial documentation. The implementation of the “Catatan Keuanganku” application demonstrated its effectiveness in helping MSMEs monitor cash flow and profitability, and in formulating more measurable business strategies. This assistance program had a positive impact on increasing awareness of financial literacy and strengthening the prospects for Es Teh Janji Jihan’s operational continuity.Keberlangsungan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah sangat bergantung pada sistem pengelolaan keuangan yang teroganisir dengan baik. Es Teh Janji Jihan, sebuah UMKM yang beroperasi di Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah, mengalami kendala dalam hal dokumentasi dan adminitrasi keuangan yang masih bersifat konvensional tanpa struktur yang jelas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan melakukan pendampingan yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan kompentensi pengusaha dalam mengatur finansial usahanya melalui implementasi aplikasi catatan keuanganku. Pendekatan yang diterapkan mencakup tahap pengamatan lapangan, sesi pembinaan, asistensi berkelanjutan, dan penilaian hasil. Hasil kegiatan ini memperlihatkan adanya kemajuan subtansial dalam kapabilitas pemilik usaha untuk mendokumentasikan aktivitas transaksi sehari-hari, melakukan pemisahan antara dana operasional dengan dana personal, dan menyusun dokumentasi finansial yang terstruktur. Implementasi aplikasi catatan keuanganku menunjukkan efektivitas dalam memfasilitasi UMKM untuk memonitor aliran dana, tingkat profitabilitas, dan merumuskan strategi bisnis yang lebih terukur. Program asistensi ini menghasilkan dampak konstruktif terhadap peningkatan awareness mengenai literasi finansial serta memperkuat prospek kontinuitas operasional Es Teh Janji Jihan

Abstract

Improving teacher performance in resource-constrained rural schools remains a critical challenge. While principal supervision and teacher discipline are acknowledged factors, their combined and relative impact in such contexts is poorly understood. Utilizing a census of all teachers (N=85) from three public junior high schools in Kedurang District, Indonesia, this study employed multiple regression analysis on survey data. Results indicated that teacher discipline (β = 0.712, p < .001) was a significant positive predictor of teaching performance. Academic supervision showed a positive but non-significant relationship (β = 0.027, p = .797). Together, both variables explained 56.2% of the variance in teaching performance (R² = 0.562, p < .001). Teacher discipline alone accounted for 56.2% of the variance, while academic supervision contributed 33.0% when examined individually. This study addresses the gap in understanding how supervisory practices and professional discipline operate in non-urban Indonesian junior high schools, revealing that teacher discipline is the dominant factor while supervision’s effect is context-dependent. The results suggest that school principals in rural settings should prioritize reinforcing teacher discipline while improving the quality and developmental orientation of academic supervision to maximize teaching performance. The study underscores the necessity of integrated leadership strategies that combine developmental supervision with fostering intrinsic professional discipline to enhance teaching quality in rural settings.
