Square function is one of mathematical concepts that must be well-comprehended by students. However, there are many students who are having obstacles in understanding the concecpt. For this reason, there is crucial a need of applying a teaching model which make students active in order to construct their knowledge and comprehension of the concept. The purpose of this study was to examine studentsâ€™ achievements, detect the studentsâ€™ activities, examine the studentsâ€™ responds to the applying TAI model oriented by APOS theory. The classroom action research (CAR) was used in this study with 28 students of grade-10 (classroom X-MIA.1) of MAN 2 Banda Aceh in academic year 2015/2016 as the subjects of this study. The instruments used in this study were the student observation form, teacher observation form, student respond questionnaire toward the application of the learning model and the test items. The data was analyse by using percentage of the descriptive analysis. The results showed that in cycle I to IV: (1) 89,29% students achieved the minimum level of studentsâ€™ achievement; (2) students were moderately active; (3) 100% students enjoyed the learning model and were agreed if in the next teaching and learning to be used the similar model. Consequently, the model of TAI oriented by APOS theory is an appropriate model used in the teaching and learning of square function concept.

This study aims to develop and implement a project-based learning (PjBL) model and differentiation in the context of short story writing at the Junior High School level. This learning model is designed to improve students’ writing skills, hone creativity, imagination, and critical and analytical thinking skills. The differentiation approach allows learning to be tailored to students’ individual interests and abilities, ensuring active participation and higher engagement. The research methods used include literature study, classroom observation, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that students involved in this learning model experienced asignificant improvement in the ability to write short stories. Writing projects not only help students understand narrative structure, language use, and literary techniques, but also encourage them to think critically and analytically through a process of revision and evaluation. In addition, the differentiation approach has proven effective in accommodating different student learning styles, so that each student can achieve optimal learning outcomes. Thus, this model has the potential to be applied more broadly in the educational curriculum to produce a creative, critical, and independent generation.

Pembelajaran sains, khususnya materi jaring-jaring makanan, sering dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena sifatnya yang abstrak, sehingga keterlibatan mereka dalam memahami konsep ini menjadi tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan media diorama sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Pada tahap Define, dilakukan identifikasi masalah dan penentuan tujuan pengembangan media. Tahap Design mencakup perancangan struktur konten dan elemen interaktif dalam media diorama. Selanjutnya, tahap Develop melibatkan pembuatan serta pengujian media untuk memastikan efektivitasnya. Tahap terakhir, Disseminate, berfokus pada implementasi di kelas serta pengumpulan umpan balik dari siswa dan guru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan diorama mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep yang diajarkan. Umpan balik dari siswa dan guru mengindikasikan bahwa media ini membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan interaktif. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media diorama terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan kontekstual, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sains di sekolah.

Grouper is an important economic commodity whose existence continues to be sought after by fishermen. Knowing the types of fish landed and marketed at TPI Lewoleba will be very helpful as a basis for sustainable fisheries management that is appropriate for improving the quality of fish on the market, starting from the fishing management process, handling fishery products, processing, marketing and so on, so that it can also improve the welfare of the fishing community. This research was carried out at TPI Lewoleba in September 2024 – December 2024. The aim of this research was to determine the type of grouper (Serranidae) caught by fishermen landed at the TPI Lewoleba market. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. The results of the research are the types of grouper fish (Serranidae) landed at the TPI Lewoleba market, namely the species Cephalopholis boenak, Variola louti, Epinephelus ongus, Epinephelus fasciatus, and Cephalopholis miniata, Plectropomus leopardus, Epinephelus coeruleopunctatus, and Anyperodon leucogrammicus, Plectropomus oligacanthus, Plectropomus areolatus, and Epinephelus macrospilos, Cephalopholis sonnerati and Epinephelus undulosus. Based on the identification results of grouper fish (Serranidae) landed at the Lewoleba Fish Auction Place (TPI), 13 species were recorded.

This research was conducted in February-March 2021. The study was conducted in Nubatukan District, Lembata Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the type and size of lobster caught by fishermen in the waters of Lewoleba Bay, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The methods used in collecting data are survey and interview methods. Based on the results of the study, researchers found two types of lobster caught by fishermen in the waters of Lewoleba Bay, namely: Bamboo Lobster (Panulirus versicolor) and Pearl Lobster (Panulirus ornatus). The size of lobster (Panulirus spp) caught by fishermen in the waters of Lewoleba Bay, has an average total carapace length of 20.79 cm for the P.versicolor species and an average total length of 19.84cm for the P. ornatus species. Furthermore, the average weight of 1.96 kg for the type of P.versicolor and an average weight of 2.08 kg for the type of P. ornatus.

Moral education plays a vital role in shaping students’ character and personality, guiding them to become individuals with noble character, a strong sense of responsibility, and high social awareness. The Indonesian Community Center (ICC) Muar, located in Johor, Malaysia, serves as an educational institution for children of Indonesian migrant workers at the elementary level. It holds a significant responsibility in embedding moral values through effective and sustainable learning strategies tailored to the unique needs of its students. This study aims to explore the strategies employed in Islamic education at ICC Muar in fostering a morally grounded Muslim generation. A descriptive qualitative research design was adopted, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as the primary data collection techniques. The findings reveal that ICC Muar integrates several key strategies in its moral education efforts: modeling by teachers who serve as moral exemplars, active and participatory learning methods, the use of interactive learning media, and the incorporation of religious and social activities that emphasize direct practice and application. These strategies contribute not only to students’ increased religious understanding but also to the internalization of moral behaviors in daily life, such as discipline, empathy, and social responsibility. The learning approach at ICC Muar is deeply rooted in Islamic values, creating a holistic and supportive educational environment. As a result, the institution successfully nurtures a generation of students who are not only intellectually capable but also possess strong moral integrity and spiritual depth, aligning with the broader goals of Islamic moral education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontribusi live streaming tiktok yang dilakukan oleh pengunjung dalam meningkatkan popularitas dan daya tarik wisata Pemandian Lubuk Napa di Nagari Salibutan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan cara mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi dari pengunjung, pengelola wisata, serta masyarakat di sekitar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis tematik untuk menemukan pola-pola promosi digital yang muncul secara alami dari para pengunjung. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa siaran langsung TikTok secara signifikan membantu menarik perhatian wisatawan baru, terutama dari kalangan generasi muda. Konten yang dihasilkan oleh pengunjung dianggap lebih asli dan meyakinkan daripada promosi resmi dari pengelola.

Lembata Regency marine waters have a high level of biota diversity. The purpose of the study was to determine the species composition and diversity index of grouper (Serranidae). Data analysis was carried out by calculating the index value of species diversity, species evenness and species dominance. The results showed that the species composition landed at Lewoleba Fish Auction Site (TPI) was dominated by Cephalopholis boenak species at 10%, followed by Variola louti, Epinephelus ongus, Epinephelus fasciatus, and Cephalopholis miniata at 9%, then followed by Plectropomus leopardus, Epinephelus coeruleopunctatus, and Anyperodun leucogrammicus at 8%, followed by Plectropomus oligacanthus, Plectropomus areolatus, and Epinephelus macrospilos at 7%, followed by Cephalopholis sonnerati at 6%, and the last was Epinephelus undulosus at 3%. The diversity index (H') varied from 2.452 to 2.548. Based on the index value, the diversity index category is moderate (1 < H' < 3). The diversity index (E) varied from 0.956 to 0.993. Based on the index value, the evenness index category is high or evenly distributed. The dominance index (E) varies from 0.080 to 0.093. Based on the index value, the dominance index category is low or almost no dominance.

This study aims to analyze the principal's managerial ability in improving teacher performance at State Elementary School 41 Plus Banyuasin; the principal's managerial ability is one of the important factors that influence the quality of learning because it includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising in school management; the research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with 10 teachers, observation of learning activities, and documentation of school programs; the results of the study show that the principal has good managerial ability, indicated by an average score of 82% in the planning aspect, 85% in organizing, 80% in implementing, and 88% in supervising; the increase in teacher performance is reflected in the level of discipline that reaches 90%, an increase in creativity in the use of learning media by 78%, and student learning outcomes that increase by an average of 12% compared to the previous year; these findings confirm that the principal's practical managerial ability is able to encourage teachers to be more professional, increase work motivation, and create a conducive school climate; The practical implications of this research are the need to strengthen managerial training programs for school principals and support policies oriented towards improving the quality of educational leadership at the elementary school level; this research also provides an academic contribution as a basis for further studies related to the relationship between leadership management and educational quality.
