Abstract

Thedevelopment of mobile phones is very rapid in the city of Jayapura, it is undeniable that the daily lives of people from various professions are very dependent on mobile phones. Some mobile phone users admit to choosing the wrong mobile phone because they do not know what they should consider when choosing the right mobile phone for their needs. This study aims to build a mobile phone  selection decision  support system so that consumers can choose mobile phones  better and more efficiently. The method used in  this study is the  Oreste Method with the selection of weighted criteria such as price, ram / rom, camera, chipset, screen, and battery to determine consumer selection. The results  of  this study are expected to   help recommend to consumers in the selection of mobile phones according to consumer wishes such as the selection of Redmi M4 pro mobile  phones as  the mobile phones with the   best  selection  on  this system with a preference value of 7.52465857Keyword: Decision Support System; Oreste Method; Selection Cellphone  AbstrakPerkembangan handphone sangat pesat di kota Jayapura, sulit dipungkiri bahwa kehidupan sehari-hari orang-orang dari berbagai profesi sangat bergantung pada handphone. Beberapa pengguna handphone mengaku salah memilih handphone karena mereka tidak tahu apa yang harus mereka pertimbangkan saat memilih handphone yang tepat untuk kebutuhan mereka. Maka Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan handphone agar para konsumen dapat memilih handphone dengan lebih baik dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Metode Oreste dengan pemilihan bobot kriteria seperti harga, ram/rom, kamera, chipset, layar, dan baterai untuk menentukan pemilihan konsumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini Diharapkannya dapat membantu merekomendasikan pada konsumen dalam pemilihan handphone sesuai keinginan konsumen seperti terpilihnya handphone Redmi M4 pro sebagai handphone dengan pemilihan terbaik pada sistem ini dengan nilai preferensi 7.52465857.

Abstract

Data on the spread of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, especially in the Papua city of Jayapura, shows a decline. Even so, the community is demanded to remain vigilantes and always comply with health protocols. The purpose of this research is to build an expert system to be able to diagnose early symptoms of Covid-19 so that people can make early detection of Covid-19. The method used in this study is the Certainty Factor, using 12 Symptoms so that it will produce Solution results in the form of Patients Under Monitoring (PDP), Persons Under Monitoring (ODP) and Non-Suspect by including the level of confidence of each solution. The results of this study are an expert system for diagnosing Covid-19 where the results of the system are in accordance with the results of manual calculations. In addition, the system has also been tested on system functionality and shows valid results on all functional systems.Keywords: Expert System; Certainty Factor; Covid-19 AbstrakData penyebaran kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia khususnya di daerah papua kota Jayapura menunjukkan penurunan. Meskipun demikian masyarakat dituntut untuk tetap waspada dan selalu mentaati protokol Kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem pakar untuk dapat mendiagnosa gejala awal Covid-19 sehingga masyakat dapat melakukan deteksi awal Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Certainty Factor, dengan menggunakan 12 Gejala sehingga akan mengasilkan hasil Solusi berupa Pasien dalam Pengawasan (PDP), Orang dalam Pemantauan (ODP) dan non-suspect dengan menyertakan tingkat keyakinan dari masing-masing solusi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa Covid-19 yang mana hasil dari sistem tersebut telah sesuai dengan hasil perhitungan manual. Selain itu sistem juga telah dilakukan pengujian terhadap fungsional sistem dan menunjukkan hasil yang Valid pada seluruh fungsional sistem.

Abstract

The lack of understanding of laptop buyers in Jayapura City causes inappropriate purchasing decisions. This research aims to help customers understand laptop specifications in order to choose better through the development of web applications based on the WASPAS method. This method was chosen because it suits user preferences and is flexible in adjusting the weight of criteria, which include price, RAM, hard drive, processor, screen size, screen type, and laptop brand. System testing using the black box method showed good performance. The results of the application performance accuracy test showed 90% accuracy, 86% precision, 100% recall, 75% specificity, and 92% F1 score. These findings confirm that the WASPAS method is effective in providing appropriate and reliable recommendations according to user needs. This application is expected to help users in Jayapura City in choosing a laptop that suits their needs.Keywords: Laptop selection; WASPAS method; Decision support system; Performance accuracy AbstrakKurangnya pemahaman pembeli laptop di Kota Jayapura menyebabkan keputusan pembelian yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan membantu pelanggan memahami spesifikasi laptop agar dapat memilih dengan lebih baik melalui pengembangan aplikasi web berbasis metode WASPAS. Metode ini dipilih karena sesuai dengan preferensi pengguna dan fleksibel dalam menyesuaikan bobot kriteria, yang meliputi harga, RAM, hardisk, processor, ukuran layar, tipe layar, dan merek laptop. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode black box menunjukkan kinerja yang baik. Hasil pengujian akurasi kinerja aplikasi menunjukkan akurasi 90%, presisi 86%, recall 100%, spesifisitas 75%, dan F1 score 92%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa metode WASPAS efektif dalam memberikan rekomendasi yang tepat dan andal sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengguna di Kota Jayapura dalam memilih laptop yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision support system (SPK) for the selection of new students at YPPK Christ Raja Junior High School in Jayapura using the Vikor (Multi-criteria Decision Analysis) method. The main problem faced by the school is the selection process of new students who still use a manual system, causing errors in decision making. The vikor method was chosen because it is efficient in handling multi-criteria problems. This study involved 15 students as an alternative sample in the selection process. The vikor method is used for normalization, calculation of utility measure (s) and regret measure (r) values, as well as determination of index values. The ranking results are based on the s, r, and q sequences, with the best alternative solution determined based on the minimum q value. The results showed that recommendations for new student admission decisions can be obtained by utilizing the ranking results from the vikor method. The system development process is carried out using the waterfall method with stages of software requirements analysis, design, program code creation, and testing. System design is carried out using structured design, while testing uses the blackbox method. The results of this study are expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the selection process for new students at YPPK Christ Raja Junior High School in Jayapura through the implementation of a decision support system with the vikor method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meningkatkan teknik backward chaining untuk diagnosis Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) dengan mengintegrasikan algoritma backtracking, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penelusuran gejala dan aturan dalam sistem pakar. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan backtracking secara signifikan mengurangi waktu pemrosesan dibandingkan dengan metode tanpa backtracking. Pada eksperimen yang melibatkan 3 aturan, waktu pemrosesan berkurang dari 168,50 ms menjadi 19,53 ms, sementara untuk 6 aturan, waktu pemrosesan turun dari 161,63 ms menjadi 20,88 ms. Demikian pula, dalam pengujian dengan 10 aturan, waktu pemrosesan menurun dari 161,68 ms menjadi 17,38 ms. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi algoritma backtracking meningkatkan efisiensi penelusuran rata-rata sebesar 88%, terbukti menjadi pendekatan yang sangat efektif, terutama dalam sistem pakar yang memiliki banyak aturan dan gejala.   Kata kunci: Backward Chaining, Backtracking, Diagnosis DBD, Efisiensi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Quality of Service (QoS) of the internet network at Universitas Sepuluh Nopember Papua as part of efforts to support academic activities, particularly online learning. The network quality was evaluated using Wireshark software based on QoS parameters, namely throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. Data were collected through direct observation of network usage conditions, interviews with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) managers, and a literature review related to the TIPHON standards. The study's findings revealed that network conditions varied according to traffic density. During low-traffic periods, throughput reached 2.355 Mbps, packet loss was 0%, delay was 15.794 ms, and jitter was 8.329 ms, all of which fall into the excellent category. However, during peak hours, throughput dropped to 23.918 Kbps, with packet loss reaching 86.21%, indicating significant disruptions. Based on these results, the study recommends optimizing network infrastructure, increasing bandwidth capacity, and managing user traffic to ensure more stable internet service quality and better support for academic activities.Keyword: Quality Of Service; Wireshark; TIPHON AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan jaringan internet (Quality of Service/QoS) di Universitas Sepuluh Nopember Papua sebagai bagian dari upaya mendukung aktivitas akademik, terutama pembelajaran daring. Kualitas jaringan dievaluasi menggunakan perangkat lunak Wireshark berdasarkan parameter-parameter QoS, yaitu throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung pada kondisi penggunaan jaringan, wawancara dengan pengelola Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi, serta studi literatur terkait standar TIPHON. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi jaringan bervariasi sesuai tingkat kepadatan lalu lintas. Pada kondisi sepi, throughput mencapai 2,355 Mbps, packet loss 0%, delay 15,794 ms, dan jitter 8,329 ms, yang semuanya berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Namun, pada jam sibuk, throughput menurun menjadi 23,918 Kbps dengan packet loss mencapai 86,21%, mencerminkan gangguan signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil ini, penelitian merekomendasikan optimasi infrastruktur jaringan, peningkatan kapasitas bandwidth, dan manajemen lalu lintas pengguna untuk memastikan kualitas layanan internet yang lebih stabil dan mendukung kegiatan akademik secara optimal.

Abstract

The Personnel Information System at the Jayapura City Transportation Office aims to increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing personnel data. In today's digital era, manual data management has limitations that affect the speed and accuracy of information. Therefore, a computerized information system is necessary for better management of employee data. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the personnel information system at the Jayapura City Transportation Office, as well as evaluate its impact on personnel administration performance. The methods used in this study include direct observation of the system in use, interviews with staff and system managers, and analysis of the system's effectiveness in improving data management. The system was evaluated in terms of its ability to streamline administrative tasks, facilitate easy access to personnel data, and enhance overall efficiency in managing personnel information. The results of the study indicate that the system has successfully optimized employee data management, improved administrative efficiency, and made access to information faster and more accurate. However, some obstacles were identified, such as the need for further training for staff to use the system optimally and occasional technical issues with system integration. Despite these challenges, the personnel information system has proven to be an essential tool for improving the overall performance of the personnel administration at the Jayapura City Transportation Office. The study concludes with recommendations for further system enhancements and the importance of ongoing staff training to ensure the system's continued success.

Abstract

A Management Information System (MIS) is an integrated system that utilizes data to efficiently collect, store, manage, and display information. The broadcast management information system at TVRI Papua aims to simplify the scheduling process, prevent data loss, improve data management efficiency, and provide information for decision-making. The development method used in this research is the waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The design method applied is structured design, which consists of context diagrams, tiered diagrams, and Overview diagrams. Based on system testing using the Blackbox method, the system functionality has run well, making it easier for the news editing and Validation process.Keywords: Broadcast data management; Information systems; Broadcast management AbstrakSistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) merupakan sistem terpadu yang berfungsi untuk mengumpulkan, menyimpan, mengelola, dan menyajikan informasi secara efisien. Pada TVRI Papua, pengelolaan data penyiaran masih dilakukan secara manual, yang berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan dalam penjadwalan, kehilangan data, dan rendahnya efisiensi pengelolaan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen data penyiaran berbasis Website guna menyederhanakan proses penjadwalan, mencegah kehilangan data, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan informasi. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan model Waterfall, yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Perancangan sistem menggunakan metode terstruktur, dengan pemodelan berupa diagram konteks, diagram berjenjang, dan diagram Overview. Pengujian menggunakan metode Blackbox menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsionalitas sistem berjalan dengan baik, sehingga mempermudah proses penyuntingan dan Validasi berita.

Abstract

PT. Sinarta Karya Papua, a medium-scale enterprise in Eastern Indonesia, faces operational challenges due to its reliance on manual sales recording systems, leading to data duplication, delayed reporting, and limited information transparency. This hinders operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This study aims to develop a web-based sales management information system addressing these issues using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, selected for its rapid prototyping and iterative adaptation to user needs. Data was gathered through field observations, semi-structured interviews with staff and management, and literature reviews on information systems and RAD. The system was developed with PHP and MySQL to ensure flexibility and reliable data management. Findings demonstrate the successful integration of sales transaction processing, customer management, inventory control, and real-time reporting modules. Comprehensive functional testing (Blackbox Testing) confirmed 100% operational accuracy across all features, significantly improving record-keeping efficiency and information accessibility. The primary contribution lies in implementing RAD within Papua's unique business context—an underexplored area in existing literature. The system delivers a practical solution for PT. Sinarta Karya Papua while serving as a reference model for similar enterprises in geographically challenging regions. Key implications include enhanced organizational competitiveness through digital transformation and the potential replication of this framework across other business sectors in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang efisien untuk pembuatan, perubahan, dan perpanjangan Surat keterangan fiscal, serta meningkatkan pengarsipan berkas yang lebih efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Waterfall, yang melibatkan tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang hanya dapat diakses oleh pegawai, dengan fitur notifikasi untuk pengusaha yang akan memperpanjang izin usaha, termasuk persyaratan dan berkas yang diperlukan. Sistem juga mampu melakukan pengarsipan data surat keterangan fiskal dan mencetak surat fiskal. Dengan implementasi sistem ini, diharapkan proses pembuatan, perubahan, dan perpanjangan surat keterangan fiskal dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efisien, sementara pengarsipan berkas menjadi lebih teratur. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa sistem informasi surat keterangan fiskal berbasis web dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam proses izin usaha, serta memudahkan akses dan pengarsipan berkas secara digital.
