Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahuipeningkatan keterampilan membaca pada siswa kelompok belajar B melalui media kartubergambar (flashcard). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklusterdapat 8 pertemuan dimana data yang diperoleh akan disajikan dalam deskriptif kualitatif.Penelitian ini didasari atas teori pembelajaran kognitif oleh Jean Piaget. Pengajaran membacamelalui media kartu bergambar dinilai dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa dalammembaca tahap awal dikarenakan media yang digunakan sangat menarik untuk dilihat dan caraguru menyampaikan materi sangat menyenangkan sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan.Kata kunci : Keterampilan Membaca, Media Gambar, Anak usia dini.ABSTRACTThis research is a Classroom Action Research, which aimed to determine theimprovement of reading skills of Kindergarten B students through a flashcard. This researchconducted in 2 cycles, which had eight meetings for each cycle. The data obtained would bepresented in qualitative descriptive. The theory applied in this research is Cognitive Learningby Jean Piaget. Teaching through flashcard considered to increase students' interest andunderstanding in pre-reading stage because it is very interesting and the way teacher deliveredthe material is very attractive, therefore, the students do not feel bored.Keywords: Reading skill, Pictures Media, Kindergarten Students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze Lifebuoy shampoo advertisements using van Dijk's critical discourse analysis model with the main focus being on microstructure. The approach applied in this study is the critical discourse analysis of van Dijk's model. Data collection techniques use free listening, transcription techniques, and screenshot techniques. The data analysis techniques used are certain element sorting techniques or called PUP and BUL techniques or called Direct Element Sharing. The results of the study include an in-depth understanding of microstructure that discusses syntax, semantics, stilistics, and rhetoric in Lifebuoy shampoo advertisements. Through this discourse analysis, you can find out in depth about the discussion in Lifebuoy shampoo advertisements.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the denotative and connotative meanings in an alternative universe (AU) entitled Throw.back by @Matchacioya uploaded on social media X. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with semantic theory as the basis of analysis. Semantic theory is used to explore how the meaning of a word or phrase is formed both literally (denotative) and in a social and emotional context (connotative). The research data was obtained through the free-spirited conversational listening method, which allows researchers to understand and identify the words or phrases used in the AU. After the data was collected, the analysis was carried out using the distribution method, with the direct element division technique and the lesap technique. The direct element division technique is used to dissect the literal meaning of the word or phrase, while the lesap technique is used to understand the hidden meaning, namely the meaning formed due to the influence of the context and the emotional experiences of the characters in the AU. The results of the study show that the denotative meaning reflects the literal meaning of the word or phrase, such as the word "kabur" which refers to a physical event in the story. Meanwhile, connotative meaning is deeper and reflects a more complex emotional interpretation, such as in the phrase "lost direction" which describes the character's emotional confusion. The importance of connotative meaning is also reflected in the use of symbolism and metaphor in the work. Phrases such as "becoming a shadow" or "trapped in time" not only refer to physical or temporal states, but also describe the character's inner conflict and search for identity. This research confirms that language plays a crucial role as a communication tool that helps build interactions between characters in literary works, especially in AU that is developing on social media.

Abstract

Abstract: Penelitian ini berjudul “Pemerolehan Kosakata Bahasa Indonesia di TK Brasika Wijaya 1 Klungkung: Kajian Psikolinguistik”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengkaji pemerolehan kosakata bahasa Indonesia siswa TK Brasika Wijaya 1 Klungkung (2) mengkaji pemerolehan kategori kata bahasa Indonesia yang dimiliki siswa TK Brasika Wijaya 1 Klungkung dan (3) mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi pemerolehan kosakata bahasa Indonesia yang dimiliki siswa TK Brasika Wijaya 1 Klungkung. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori behaviorisme yang dikemukakan oleh Skinner yang menyatakan bahwasanya belajar adalah perubahan perilaku yang dapat diamati, diukur, dan dinilai secara konkret. Tingkah laku manusia dikendalikan oleh ganjaran atau reward dan penguatan atau reinforcement dari lingkungan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan metode dan teknik pengumpulan data yakni metode simak dengan didukung teknik sadap sebagai teknik dasar, serta teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan teknik catat sebagai teknik lanjutan. Selain itu juga digunakan metode cakap. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan referensial, sedangkan metode dan teknik penyajian hasil analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode formal dan informal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan siswa di TK Brasika Wijaya 1 Klungkung sudah mencapai tahap peniruan kreatif sempurna. Terdapat lima jenis kosakata bahasa Indonesia yang diajarkan kepada anak-anak, yaitu nomina, verba, adjektiva, pronomina, dan numeralia. Anak-anak memiliki penguasaan yang dominan terhadap jenis kelas kata nomina. Faktor lingkungan adalah faktor utama yang berpengaruh pada penguasaan dan perolehan kosakata anak. Abstract

Broca’s aphasic patients display language problems in initiating utterances withgroping movements, multiple false attempts and self-correction resulting from a lesion to thethird frontal convolution of the left hemisphere of the brain. This study describes the forms ofsound impairment, types of errors and phonetic processing by a Balinese patient who sufferedfrom non-fluent speech disorder. The results showed that KW’s speech performance wascategorized severe. There were 0.80% phonological errors in word naming, 0.92% in picturenaming, 0.87% in answering questions and 0.89% in oral reading. Of the three other types oferrors, sound substitution errors mostly appeared in every phonological task. He made 65%sound substitutions, 20% sound distortions, 10% sound insertions and 5% omissions. Differentspeech stimulation could trigger sound inconsistency. The phonological errors occurred becausethere was not any appropriate coordination between phonological representation and phoneticrealization due to the loss of linguistic message in Broca’s area.

Abstract

This paper explained falia ‘taboo’ in kaghati in the Muna Speech Community (MSC)from the ecolinguistic perspective. The kite ‘kaghati’ is one type of the traditional games and a tribalcultural product in MSC which still exists and remains maintained. The forms of interaction,interrelation, and the interdependence in MSC with the natural and socio-cultural environments arerecorded in falia’s ke-kaghati-an.The problem in this paper is to answer the question what expressionin falia’s ke-kaghati-an is used to express environment in MSC. The purpose of this paper is todescribe and analyze the falia expressions found in ke-kaghati-an’s environment. This research isclassified as a qualitative descriptive study as it describes the phenomena of falia expressions andenvironmental knowledge, especially the ones currently used in ke-kaghati-an’s environment, andthe source of natural data as a manifestation of the Muna's socio-cultural-ecological life.Falia’s ke-kaghati-an is such a magical expression of magical value that MSC, especially the kaghatimaker, feels afraid of breaking it.The expression of falia’s ke-kaghati-an teaches the belief in God,gratitude, balance of life, discipline, justice, honesty, orderliness, beauty, tolerance, and mutualrespect. Falia is one way in which MSC shows their adherence to the local wisdom values, especiallywith regard to the environmental conservation that has been inherited from the ancestors since a longtime ago. Conservation of the wealth of the expression of falia in MSC is very important, for both thesustainability of the Muna language and the conservation of kaghati with its traditions and culture,which is preserved in the meaning and cultural values of the past heritage as part of itspersonalidentity, especially for the younger generation.
