Abstract

This research is based on Joko Widodo's communication style which is slightly different in his approach to political communication. As a political actor, Joko Widodo is able to mingle with various levels of society, from the people, religious leaders, to political institutions such as the DPR. The phenomenon in this study uses an interpretive paradigm to conduct a more in-depth study and analysis of Jokowi's political communication style. In order for the study to be more extensive and in-depth in revealing the phenomenon of Jokowi's political communication style, a qualitative approach is used. The purpose of this research study is as a means to answer the following research questions: 1) Knowing that political communication and Jokowi's persuasion as a political communicator is implemented in reducing political noise. 2) Knowing the characteristics of Jokowi's political communication style 3) Knowing the implementation and influence of Jokowi's political communication style in the harmonization of relations between the President and the DPR and NU Organizations 4) Knowing the findings of the uniqueness of Jokowi's political communication style as a new tradition in Indonesian politics. As for some research findings in examining the phenomenon of Jokowi's Political Communication Style, the researcher reveals that Jokowi's political communication style is populist, not long-winded, as it is. Jokowi likes to work a lot rather than talk too much. Jokowi uses a commoner style of communication and serves or what is called servant leadership because Jokowi's background comes from a simple family. With this communication style, Jokowi has given a sense of optimism and received a warm welcome by most of the Indonesian people so that he can unite the diversity that exists in the Republic of Indonesia

Abstract

The development of communication studies is currently driven by the information technology paradigm, making the discipline of communication a very sexy study, leaving other disciplines behind. Old communication studies traditions such as media effects, framing studies, agenda- setting, as well as various media impact studies, public relations, broadcasting, journalism and the like are grouped as traditional communication studies. Meanwhile, the development of the world of communication driven by social media and internet-based technology has made the world of communication very sexy and has attracted the attention of various disciplines by starting to connect disciplines outside of communication with communication disciplines, so that communication is referred to as post-communication. discipline. This study examines thinking by classifying the development of thinking in traditional communication disciplines and post- discipline communication. Collecting data using interviews and conducting library research. The conclusion of this study is that the communication discipline in today's world is distinguished between traditional and post-discipline disciplines. In developed countries, these two disciplines become an equally important conversation, while in new developing countries, communication of traditional disciplines becomes dominant. In Indonesia, communication stakeholders must maintain these two communication disciplines, this is what is meant by straight way communication.

Abstract

Political parties are organizations that utilize social media in their approach across various aspects, such as campaign interests. This research aims to identify the constraints and opportunities of the Instagram social media accounts belonging to the Golkar political party. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the @golkar.indonesia Instagram account using a PEST analysis. The utilization of the PEST analysis (Political, Economic, Social, Technological) in this research indicates that the @golkar.indonesia account is well-managed and implements the PEST method comprehensively. The @golkar.indonesia account has the opportunity to provide interactive content to reach a broader audience, particularly the younger generation. This can enhance the recognition and positive image of Airlangga Hartarto. The managers of the @golkar.indonesia account can engage in soft selling through the delivery of informative content. Furthermore, the findings of this research can be applied as a basis for political strategy management for Golkar and other relevant parties. Partai politik merupakan organisasi yang menggunakan media sosial dalam pendekatannya dalam berbagai aspek, seperti kepentingan kampanye. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala dan peluang akun media sosial Instagram milik partai politik Golkar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis akun Instagram @golkar.indonesia dengan analisis PEST. Penggunaan analisis PEST (Politik, Ekonomi, Sosial, Teknologi) dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa akun @golkar.indonesia dikelola dengan baik dan menjalankan metode PEST dengan lengkap. Akun @golkar.indonesia memiliki peluang untuk memberikan konten interaktif agar dapat menjangkau lebih banyak audiens anak muda. Hal ini dapat membuat Airlangga Hartarto lebih dikenal dan memiliki citra yang baik. Pengelola akun @golkar.indonesia dapat melakukan soft selling dari konten informatif yang disampaikan. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini dapat diterapkan sebagai bahan manajemen strategi politik bagi Golkar dan pihak lainnya.

Abstract

This activity aims to train effective communication for teachers at SDN 204 Kertapati Palembang with students. Informants activities of teachers and students. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, documentation, to informants. Meanwhile, the analysis approach is carried out with a qualitative approach. Based on the results, the teachers began to understand the training and quite understand the online learning process through Google Classroom. At SDN 204 Kertapati, the role of teachers' communication and social change, which was originally face-toface learning, had to switch to online or dare to be carried out by all teachers involved in the bold learning process. The home study system really needs communication and significant social changes in this pandemic situation. The teacher's role in assisting children to learn during the COVID-19 pandemic is going well, although there are factors that hinder the implementation of online learning obtained during training at SDN 204 Kertapati, according to the teachers, it is difficult for their students to understand the material because they are not accompanied directly by the brave medium. The next obstacle is parents when accompanying their children to study impatiently, internet service constraints, and the limitations of cellphone media as a learning medium for students.

Abstract

Analysis of the "Mawar" livestock business group program in improving the welfare of the community in Pangkalan Balai, From the results of the research conducted, it shows that (1) the "Mawar" livestock business group program in improving the welfare of the community in Pangkalan Balai has not been maximized where there is a lack of knowledge in tackling diseases and good management of cages and animal feed. (2) The forms of policies determined by the government are the provision of loan capital with small interest, capital, facilities and infrastructure, and marketing of products produced by small industries. (3) With the existence of the "Rose" livestock business group in improving the welfare of the community in Pangkalan Balai Village at this time.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus spread very quickly because many people did not comply with the health protocols implemented by the government. In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, there were lots of Hoax reports that occurred which made people nervous because it would have an impact on government programs to suppress the development of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this counseling is to educate the community in Santan Sari Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency. This counseling educates the public about hoax reporting regarding the effects of vaccines. Because many people are afraid of getting vaccinated after seeing or reading news about the impact after being vaccinated. This counseling involved as many as 72 heads of families in Santan Sari Village. by looking at using effective communication the hoax news can be understood by local residents and raises speculation among the public. Education about the use of social media so that you don't easily believe the news you get from the internet. Overall, the use of social media is carried out by teenagers and mothers who hold community gatherings. By reporting on the effects of the Covid-19 vaccine, the community can help the government reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Santan Sari Village. This counseling is aimed straight at social welfare. The more obedient the government regulations and health protocols, the better social welfare because residents can still carry out economic activities to meet household needs after being vaccinated

Abstract

The people in Tanjung Agung Selatan Village, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, have a low level of education. This is inversely proportional to the level of community participation in the direct election of the Tanjung Agung Selatan Village Head, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Voters' participation rate is quite high at 60%, while the level of education is low at 40%. This shows that there is an abnormality between the low level of community education and community participation in choosing village heads. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of education level on the election of village heads in Tanjung Agung Selatan Village, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, the level of community participation in direct village head elections, and the factors that influence the community's encouragement to choose village heads directly. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive research. Researchers obtained data through observation, interviews and documentation as well as analyzing the data. Based on the research results, it is known that the high level of community participation in village head elections is due to a sense of kinship and community encouragement as voters, and the level of community education does not affect community participation in village head elections. This is because people who have education are indifferent and do not want to participate in politics. Therefore, the level of community education in Tanjung Agung Selatan Village, Lais District, Musi Banyuasi Regency has no effect on the level of community participation in the election of their village head.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konstruksi sosial tokoh lokal dalam Pilkada 2024, yang berperan penting dalam membentuk persepsi dan preferensi politik masyarakat. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana media, baik tradisional maupun digital, membangun citra tokoh politik yang sering kali tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana media, simbol budaya, dan interaksi sosial mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap tokoh politik lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, yang mencakup wawancara mendalam, analisis konten media, dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media, terutama media sosial, memainkan peran sentral dalam membentuk citra politik tokoh lokal, baik melalui framing positif maupun negatif. Penggunaan simbol budaya dan narasi religius juga ditemukan efektif dalam membangun hubungan emosional dengan pemilih, namun harus otentik untuk menghindari persepsi manipulatif. Implikasi temuan ini penting bagi praktisi politik dalam merancang kampanye yang lebih transparan dan autentik, serta bagi masyarakat untuk lebih kritis terhadap narasi politik yang dibangun. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya media digital dalam strategi kampanye politik dan membuka peluang untuk studi lanjutan mengenai teknologi baru dalam komunikasi politik.
