Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a type of hemorrhagic stroke or cerebrovascular disease that can be destructive after an intracranial aneurysm ruptures. The symptoms felt can affect physiological changes such as damage to physical mobility, so it is necessary to apply body restraints to limit movement during treatment so that patients are protected from the dangers of falls and assess MFS. Method: case study with intervention using body restraints in patients at risk of falling after subarachnoid hemorrhage surgery. Carried out at the Central Surgical Installation (IBS) of PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Yogyakarta. Abstract

Bullying in Islamic boarding schools is a worrying phenomenon because it contradicts the main mission of Islamic boarding schools in shaping the character of students with noble morals. Although Islamic boarding schools are known as educational institutions based on religious values, bullying practices are still found in verbal, physical, and psychological forms. This study aims to examine how the internalization of Islamic boarding school values, particularly the trilogy and five awarenesses, plays a role in shaping an Islamic boarding school environment free from bullying practices. This study employs a qualitative approach, specifically a case study design, at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, involving Islamic boarding school administrators, foster parents, students, and regional heads as key informants. The findings show that open communication, sharing activities, daily sermons, and a spiritual-based reward and punishment system effectively shape the character of students who are empathetic and anti-violent. The contribution of this study lies in the development of a new perspective on preventing bullying based on religious values that is contextual and applicable in Islamic education. These results are important because they show that cultural and spiritual approaches can be an effective and sustainable alternative in creating a safe and character-based educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of transformative learning management in building students’ critical awareness in secondary education environments. The transformative approach is considered capable of creating a learning space that not only focuses on mastering the material but also on changing students’ way of thinking about the social reality around them. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach in one secondary school that implements a transformative learning model. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of curriculum documents and lesson plan implementation. The results of the study indicate that learning strategies that integrate reflective discussions, contextual issue analysis, and active student empowerment can improve critical thinking skills, social empathy, and student participation in local community issues. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of teacher training in a critical pedagogical approach, as well as the need for school policy support in adopting a more humanistic and participatory curriculum. This study recommends the development of a structured transformative learning management model to improve the quality of meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how reward and punishment strategies influence student learning motivation within the context of an Islamic boarding school. The research seeks to understand the pedagogical impact of these strategies in promoting academic engagement and character formation. Utilizing a qualitative case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with school leaders, teachers, and students, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that verbal praise and symbolic non-material rewards significantly enhance students' intrinsic motivation, foster greater enthusiasm for learning, and lead to improved academic performance. Meanwhile, religious-based punishments such as reading istighfar, reciting Surah Yasin, and public apologies help instill moral awareness and personal responsibility in a constructive manner. These dual strategies not only promote discipline and self-regulation but also nurture a spiritually supportive educational atmosphere. The implementation of both reward and punishment proves effective in creating a balanced and motivating learning environment, aligning with Islamic pedagogical values. The study contributes to the growing literature on holistic educational practices by offering insights into motivational dynamics in pesantren-based settings. It suggests that integrating intrinsic motivational strategies with spiritually grounded disciplinary methods can support both academic excellence and ethical development. As such, educators are encouraged to apply these approaches thoughtfully to maximize student potential within culturally and religiously contextualized learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of internalizing religious values in enhancing character management in a public elementary school with religious diversity. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, students, and school staff. Data analysis was conducted thematically to explore internalization strategies and their impacts on students’ religious character development. The findings highlight that strategies like greeting others, collective prayers, and regular congregational prayers effectively instill religious values inclusively. Teachers’ role modeling through activities like home visits and donations fosters empathy and solidarity across religions. Reward and punishment mechanisms enhance moral awareness and intrinsic motivation. Christian students benefit from tailored activities, such as morning prayers and memorizing Bible verses, which promote tolerance. Overall, the internalization of religious values in a multi-faith school environment contributes to students’ moral, spiritual, and social development. The implications of this study for educational management emphasize the importance of integrating interfaith value internalization into character education programs. School leaders and educators should adopt inclusive strategies, such as role modeling, structured religious activities, and reward mechanisms, to foster moral, spiritual, and social development, thereby ensuring a harmonious learning environment.
