Abstract

This research aims to describe the Influence of Media Blogs on Improving the Spirit of Learning Arabic students of class XI MAK Madrasah Aliyah Wali Songo. Because learning media plays an important role in learning Arabic as a means to understand the material provided by educators to students, whether in the form of technology or non-technology. Media is a prop that serves as a supporting tool in teaching and learning activities so that it can be obtained effectively. A medium that is commonly used at this time is internet-based blog media. The application of Blog Media that researchers apply produces results, namely the achievement of a learning room atmosphere that becomes lively and not boring. The population of this study was all students of Madrasah Aliyah Wali Songo which numbered 145 people and a sample of 20 people. This research method is a quantitative one-group experiment. The instrument used is in the form of a angket. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an increase in students' Arabic learning spirit without using blog media and using blog media in class XI MAK students. Based on the data values in the Frequencies output table, Negative Differencesa = 2 is to state the amount that produces a negative sign (-). Positive Differencesb = 17 is to state the amount that produces a positive sign (+). Tiesc = 1 is the sum that produces the zero sign (0). And total = 20 is to state the total number of signs (positive, negative or zero). While in the Test Statisticsb output table, the significant obtained is 0.001 this means 0.001 < 0.05 then Ha is accepted, and HO is rejected. With a number of learners who experienced an increase divided by the number of learners as a whole then multiplied by one hundred and the result by 85%. So, blog media influenced a number of 17 learners. This means that Media Blog has a significant effect on the spirit of learning Arabic for class XI MAK students at Madrasah Aliyah Wali Songo Sebaung Gending.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Taqdimul Qisshoh method to increase maharah kalam at the AWKIBA institution, the purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of the Taqdimul Qisshoh method to increase maharah kalam at the AWKIBA institution. This research is a descriptive qualitative and quantitative research. The subject of this study is the Taqdimul Qishoh method which was developed in an institution to train Arabic fluency and improve students' maharah kalam. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, evaluation and also questionnaires. Meanwhile, data analysis follows the analysis process, namely; compilation of data, submission of data and verification or conclusions. And as for the object of this research, the students at the Al-Wafiyah Kitab and Arabic Language Institute (AWKIBA) Islamic boarding school Nrul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. Based on the results of qualitative and quantitative research as follows: 1) the learning process using the Taqdimul Qisshoh method is more effective and has a great influence on students where they can improve speaking skills and develop thinking and imagination skills. 2) the results of the evaluation of 20 students were declared complete 100% in their mastery in storytelling. 3) based on the results of a questionnaire on 20 student responses, namely 95%, 90%, 95%, 100%, 95% and 90% stated "agree" with the implementation of the Taqdimul qishhoh method in improving Maharah Kalam. And the results of this study indicate that the application of the taqdimul qisshoh method at the AWKIBA institution is able to increase the Maharah Kalam of students.

Abstract

Media have important role in improving the linguistic competence of students. Hence, well-prepared media will influence good result of learning and simplify Arabic material for students. The variety of use of instructional media should be fit to the objectives of learning, because the goal of listening is different from reading or other skills. So, each learning objective of the four skills require particular media that can support the success of learning process in accordance with characteristics of each.إن الوسائل التعليمية لها دور هام في ترقية مهارة لغة الطلبة العربية. فإعداد الوسائل التعليمية يساعد الطلبة على فهم المواد الدراسية بسهولة ويسر. واستخدام الوسائل التعليمية أن تلائم أهداف التعليم المناسبة لكل من مهارات اللغة الأربع حيث اختلفت مهارة الاستماع عن مهارات اللغة الأخرى كمهارة القراءة. لذا، فإن تعليم مهارات اللغة الأربع في حاجة ماسة إلى الوسيلة التعليمية المناسبة كي تتحقق العملية التعليمية بنجاح وفعال مع مراعاة خصائص كل من مهارة لغوية مذكورة.

Abstract

The success of an educational institution can not be separated from the role of a teacher as a resource that should be developed and enhanced professionalism. Therefore, the role of an institution is very important in improving the pedagogical ability of educators, because a good education institution is an institution that is able to grow and develop in accordance with the demands of the times, and to face the times must be supported by the quality of professional teachers. Increased professionalism of teachers with the training and development should also be managed properly in order to function well against the individual, organization, or society.

Abstract

The research method used is a qualitative approach, case study type. This research activity places more emphasis on concepts and processes. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using the Miles and Huberman method of analysis, namely data reduction, data display and verification. With this method, it is hoped that researchers will obtain accurate data. The results of this research show that (1) The form of change in the religious character of society through the lens of cultural diffusion. Case study of the spread of religious values in Taman village, Sumbermalang subdistrict, Situbondo district, seen in terms of (a) education and learning (b) ethical changes (c) participation in religious activities (d) social and moral changes. (2) The inhibiting and supporting factors in changing the religious character of society through the lens of cultural diffusion, case study: the spread of religious values in Taman village, Sumbermalang subdistrict, Situbondo district. Inhibiting factors are (a) social tension and conflict (b) negative community response. Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of transformative learning management in building students’ critical awareness in secondary education environments. The transformative approach is considered capable of creating a learning space that not only focuses on mastering the material but also on changing students’ way of thinking about the social reality around them. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach in one secondary school that implements a transformative learning model. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of curriculum documents and lesson plan implementation. The results of the study indicate that learning strategies that integrate reflective discussions, contextual issue analysis, and active student empowerment can improve critical thinking skills, social empathy, and student participation in local community issues. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of teacher training in a critical pedagogical approach, as well as the need for school policy support in adopting a more humanistic and participatory curriculum. This study recommends the development of a structured transformative learning management model to improve the quality of meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of PowerPoint-based learning media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Given the growing reliance on technology in education, this research aims to assess whether PowerPoint media can enhance student understanding and academic performance in a traditional classroom setting. The research utilizes an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. A total of 20 grade IX students from SMPN Lumajang participated, with 10 in the experimental group using PowerPoint-based media and 10 in the control group receiving conventional lecture-based instruction. Data were collected through pretest and post-test assessments, and the effectiveness of the media was analyzed using paired sample t-tests. Results reveal that the experimental group showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with a mean post-test score of 87 compared to 71 in the control group (p < 0.05). The study concludes that PowerPoint-based learning media significantly enhances student learning outcomes in PAI subjects, suggesting its potential for broader application in religious education. These findings provide empirical evidence of technology’s role in improving educational effectiveness and offer practical implications for integrating multimedia tools into teaching strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of habituation methods in improving student learning discipline in the madrasah environment. The phenomenon of low learning discipline, such as lateness, non-compliance with assignments, and violations of school rules, indicates the need for an appropriate strategic approach in forming positive student learning behavior. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through participatory observation, structured interviews, and documentation. This study uses data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and data validation is carried out through triangulation and continuous observation. The results of the study indicate that the dominant form of application of the habituation method consists of five main elements: rules, punishments, rewards, consistency, and role models. These five elements are consistently applied by teachers and schools to form a disciplined learning routine. The implications of these findings indicate that the habituation method can form more orderly and consistent learning behavior, reduce violations of school rules, and increase student motivation and responsibility in the learning process. This study makes an important contribution to the development of classroom management strategies that are oriented towards character formation through a structured habit approach.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of the Discovery Learning method in islamic religious education learning and its impact on improving student creativity. The background of this study is based on the need to overcome boredom in religious learning which is monotonous and less interactive. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Discovery Learning method significantly increases student participation and creativity through group discussions, case studies, and creative projects that link religious material to real-life contexts. Student creativity is reflected in their ability to develop innovative ideas, compose artwork, and formulate solutions to religious problems reflectively and critically. Teachers act as active facilitators in creating a learning environment that supports the exploration and internalization of religious values. The implications of this study indicate that Discovery Learning can be an effective strategy to transform islamic religious education learning towards something more meaningful, contextual, and building 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. The recommendations of this study encourage the development of a more adaptive and integrative curriculum, in order to support improving the quality of religious learning at the elementary school level as a whole.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Jadid melalui pendampingan dalam pengembangan media Wordwall sebagai alat bantu digital yang interaktif. Isu utama yang diangkat adalah rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran karena keterbatasan literasi digital guru serta minimnya sarana pendukung. Melalui pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif dan berbasis praktik langsung, kegiatan ini mendorong guru untuk mengembangkan kreativitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan mengintegrasikan media Wordwall ke dalam kegiatan mengajar sehari-hari. Proses pendampingan dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, yakni identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan teknis, praktik mandiri, dan evaluasi hasil implementasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu menggunakan dan mengadaptasi Wordwall dalam berbagai materi pembelajaran, yang berdampak pada meningkatnya keterlibatan dan antusiasme siswa dalam proses belajar. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara tim pengabdian dan pihak madrasah mendorong munculnya komunitas belajar guru sebagai forum berbagi dan pengembangan berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa dengan strategi yang tepat, transformasi digital di madrasah dapat terwujud secara kontekstual dan berdaya guna.
