Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore various strategies and best practices in creating an inclusive learning environment for students with special needs. This study also aims to identify challenges faced by educators in implementing inclusive education and provide recommendations to improve teacher training and support. This study is a literature study. Literature study is the collection of information from various published written sources to gain a better understanding of the topic being studied. This includes critical analysis and synthesis of previous findings. The results of this study indicate that inclusion in education is a practice that ensures all students, including those with special needs, have the opportunity to learn in a regular classroom environment. This concept is rooted in the right of every individual to receive a quality education, which supports students' social and emotional development through interaction with peers. Inclusion also offers academic benefits, providing students with special needs with access to diverse teaching methods and more complete resources, which improves their learning outcomes. However, the success of inclusion depends on teacher training, policy support, and collaboration between parents, schools, and communities, creating an environment that values ??diversity and prepares students to contribute to a more inclusive society.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze various innovations in education management, evaluate their impact on the quality of education and student learning outcomes, and develop practical recommendations that can be implemented by education stakeholders in Indonesia. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to creating a learning environment that is more inclusive, relevant and responsive to community needs, as well as overcoming the challenges faced in the education system. This research uses a type of library research or literature study, where researchers rely on various literature sources to collect relevant data and information. With a qualitative approach, this research focuses on analyzing data in the form of words or descriptions, allowing researchers to explore the context and meaning behind the information found. The results of this research show that innovation in educational management involves curriculum development, use of technology, improvement of human resources, stakeholder participation, and evaluation systems. Competency-based curriculum and project learning increase educational relevance and student engagement, while the integration of information and communications technology (ICT) increases the efficiency of data management and communications. Ongoing training for teachers is important for the quality of teaching, and parent and community involvement increases accountability. Practical recommendations include adaptive curriculum development, technology training, community engagement programs, and data-driven evaluation to create inclusive and effective educational environments.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has transformed various aspects of education, particularly in the creation of more innovative and interactive learning media. However, the utilization of AI by elementary school teachers in classroom instruction remains relatively limited due to insufficient digital literacy and a lack of training opportunities related to AI-based educational technologies. This community service program aimed to enhance elementary school teachers’ competencies in utilizing Artificial Intelligence for the development of interactive learning media. The program was implemented through a participatory training approach consisting of needs assessment, instructional sessions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The training materials focused on the use of various AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Canva AI, Gamma AI, Leonardo AI, and CapCut AI, for the development of instructional media. These platforms enabled teachers to create diverse educational resources more efficiently and creatively. The results demonstrated that the training significantly improved participants’ understanding and skills in utilizing AI technologies for educational purposes. Teachers were able to develop various forms of learning media, including interactive presentations, educational visual content, and instructional videos. Furthermore, participants expressed strong enthusiasm and positive responses toward the training activities, perceiving AI technology as an effective tool for simplifying and enhancing the media development process. In conclusion, this training program contributed positively to supporting digital transformation in education and strengthening elementary school teachers’ competencies in meeting the demands of 21st-century learning. The findings highlight the importance of continuous professional development programs that integrate emerging technologies into educational practice.
