Abstract

Suzuki Method merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran olah tubuh di Jurusan Sendratasik Universitas Negeri Padang. Kurangnya pelatihan tentang pengolahan tubuh menyebabkan dasar teknik tari yang dilakukan mahasiswa tidak menghasilkan gerak-gerak yang maksimal. Hal ini terjadi karena pondasi tubuh itu sendiri yang akan mempengaruhi ketubuhannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dalam melakukan pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gerak pada suzuki method yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pembelajaran olah tubuh, namun tetap mereflektifkan gerak Minangkabau. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan tiga gerakan utama yang menjadi karakterisitik dalam Suzuki Method yaitu gerak stomping, basic, dan statue. Gerak tersebut memfokuskan pada kekuatan dan ketahan pada jejak kaki yang hampir sama dengan disiplin kuda-kuda atau pitunggua sebagai representasi gerak Minangkabau.

Abstract

ABSTRACT – The use of an interactive module for the subject of Basic Dance Practice is aimed to help online learning so that it can be conducted optimally, and learning objectives can be achieved as expected. The interactive module for the Basic Dance Practice course was chosen due to the fact that it is the basic learning of dance movements that must be fully mastered by students before studying other dance practice materials. This study belongs to a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE learning design model which has 5 stages: (A)nalysis finding out the problems of learning dance practice related to learning resources and the media used, (D)esign planning for making interactive modules and features in it, (D)evelopment processing materials that will be included in the interactive module, starting from dance videos, sounds, music, quizzes, etc. Then, it is proceed with compiling and finishing the interactive module, (I)mplementation starting with the socialization of the interactive module to students so that it can be used properly by students on their cellphones or laptops, and (E)valuation evaluating the module and the results of using the module for students in learning the practice of basic dance movements. The results of this study show that the interactive module of the Basic Dance Course can help the learning process for both lecturers and students to improve their practical skills. Key Words: Interactive Module, Basic Dance Practice    ABSTRAK – Penggunaan  modul interaktif untuk matakuliah praktik Gerak Dasar Tari dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk membantu pembelajaran daring agar dapat berjalan maksimal dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Modul interaktif untuk matakuliah praktik Gerak Dasar Tari dipilih karena mata kuliah gerak dasar tari merupakan pembelajaran dasar gerak tari yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa dengan sempurna sebelum mempelajari materi praktik tari lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model design pembelajaran ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan  yaitu (A)nalisys, mencari tahu tentang permasalahan pembelajaran praktik tari berkaitan dengan sumber belajar serta media yang digunakan (D)esain, merencanakan pembuatan modul interaktif dan fitur-fitur yang ada didalamnya, (D)evelopment, memproses bahan-bahan yang akan dimasukkan kedalam modul interaktif. Mulai dari video gerak tari, suara, musik, kuiz dan lain sebagainya. Lalu dilanjutkan dengan menyusun modul interaktif hingga selesai (I)mplementation, dimulai dengan sosialisasi modul interaktif kepada mahasiswa sehingga modul dapat digunakan dengan baik oleh mahasiswa pada handphone atau laptopnya masing-masing dan (E)valuation, melakukan evaluasi modul dan hasil dari pemakaian modul bagi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran praktik Gerak Dasar Tari. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa, modul interaktif mata kuliah Gerak Dasar Tari dapat membantu proses pembelajaran baik bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa guna meningkatkan kemampuan praktiknya. Kata Kunci : Modul Interaktif, Praktik Gerak Dasar Tari

Abstract

ABSTRAKKedurai Imbang Semato Alam merupakan sebuah wujud karya tari yang mengusung sebuah peristiwa budaya di Kabupaten Lebong. Kedurai Imbang Semato Alam merupakan inovasi baru yang berpijak dari upacara kedurai apem kemudian dilahirkan ke dalam bentuk koreografi tari. Kedurai apem berfungsi sebagai ritual tolak bala. Bebarapa hal yang terdapat dalam peristiwa budaya tersebut diantaranya nilai-nilai yang menjadi pokok mengenai upacara ini yang sangat erat hubungannya dengan masyarakat. Berkaitan dengan upacara ini bahwa ada hubung kait antara penjamuan kue (pesta kue) dengan bersih desa.Kata kunci: Karya Tari Kedurai Imbang Semato Alam, tolak bala, sistem budaya. ABSTRACTKedurai Imbang Semato Alam is represent a existing dance masterpiece carrying a cultural event in Regency Lebong. Kedurai Imbang Semato Alam is represent the new innovation which tread on from ceremony of kedurai apem then borne into dance choreography form. Kedurai Apem function as ritual refuse the army. Several things which is there are in the cultural event among other things values that becoming fundamental of concerning this ceremony is very hand in glove of its relation with the society. Abstract

This study aims to determine the educational values ​​in the work of the Kedurai Imbang Semato Dance. The research method used is a qualitative method, descriptive analysis. The distribution of the analysis sheet was carried out on the respondents of the Kedurai Imbang Semato Dance. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting, and drawing conclusions or verification. From the research that has been done, the following results were obtained. The work of the Kedurai Imbang Semato dance is an imbalance of good and bad behavior between humans and humans, humans and the creator and humans and nature. Therefore, these four words have a relationship that becomes a single unit in the work of this work, this dance work is not only an embodiment and traditional ceremony but also contains values ​​that contain social and religious teachings in everyday life. Today, the educational values ​​include natural educational values, cultural values, ethical values, aesthetic values, togetherness values, self-confidence values, hospitality values, mutual respect values, communication values, populist values, and creativity values.

Abstract

FLS2N is one of the most prestigious competency events in the West Sumatra region. The event provided a platform to continue to hone creativity and develop West Sumatra typical dances. Traditional Minangkabau values are one of the creative sources in packaging the dances that are presented in the competition stems at FLS2N. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the development of dance offerings in dance competition participants in West Sumatra Province. The focus of this research is the winners of the junior high school dance branch in 2019 in West Sumatra Province. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach, with data collected through direct observation and interview techniques. The results of the study show that seen from critical fist, the dance performances of the winners of the competition at the West Sumatra Province level in 2019 still use motion patterns that tend to repeat old styles and forms. That is, choreologically, it tends not to be well developed. Meanwhile, there is still a tendency for many dance numbers to give less space to female dancers. It is an unfortunate fact that considering history shows that in fact female choreographers were the developers of contemporary Minangkabau dance.ABSTRAKFLS2N Cabang Tari adalah salah satu ajang kompetensi yang bergensi diwilayah Sumatera Barat. Acara tersebut memberikan sebuah wadah untuk terus mengasah kreativitas dan mengembangkan tarian-tarian khas Sumatera Barat. Nilai-nilai tradisional Minangkabau merupakan salah satu sumber kreatif dalam mengemas tari-tari yang disajikan pada tangkai lomba di FLS2N. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana perkembangan sajian tari pada peserta lomba cabang tari di Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Fokus penelitian ini adalah para pemenang dari cabang tari tingkat SMP pada Tahun 2019 di Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus,dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui Teknik pengamatan langsung dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dilihat dari tinjuan kritis, maka sajian tari para pemenang lomba di tingkat Provinsi Sumatera Barat Tahun 2019 masih mengunakan pola gerak yang cenderung mengulang-ulang gaya dan bentuk yang lama. Artinya, secara koreologi cenderung tidak berkembang baik. Sementara itu, masih terdapat kecenderungan banyak nomor tarian yang kurang memberi tempat pada para penari perempuan.Kata Kunci: FLS2N, Tari Minangkabau, Kajian Kritis, Koreologi, Minangkabau

Abstract

This paper discusses the process of creating Geometry, a dance works by using a psychological approach to express the idea of the Minangkabau body in contemporary dance practice. Geometry dance works as a real picture of the behavior, thoughts, appreciation of human characters through the description of body dialogue and unique experiences as character expressions in dance works. This study resulted in a description of the creative process of contemporary dance creation based on the application of a psychological approach by describing creative values, appreciation values and behavioral values in a geometric creation. The audience's reflection becomes the impetus to feel the sensations of contemporary dancers' bodies. Basik Minang Kabau uses geometry as a critical reflection on the development of contemporary dance in West Sumatra as a form of the body of the Minangkabau tradition towards a contemporary body. Keywords: Geometry; psychology; Audience Reflection; choreography; creative processPROSES KREATIF TARI KONTEMPORER GEOMETRI: SEBUAH KARYA KOREOGRAFI DENGAN PENDEKATAN PSIKOLOGI SOSIAL  AbstrakTulisan ini membahas tentang sebuah proses kreatif dalam penciptaan tari kontemporer berjudul Geometri dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sosial. Koreografi tersebut disusun untuk mengungkapkan gagasan tentang ketubuhan Minangkabau dalam  praktik tari kontemporer. Karya tari Geometri erupakan gambaran nyata dari perilaku, pemikiran, penghayatan karakter manusia melalui penjabaran dialog tubuh dan pengalaman unik sebagai ekspresi karakter dalam karya tari. Penelitian ini mengahasilkan sebuah uraian proses kreatif penciptaan tari kontemporer yang berbasis pada penerapan pendekatan psikologi dengan menjabarkan nilai-nilai kreatif, nilai penghayatan dan nilai bersikap dalam sebuah penciptaan geometri. Refleksi penonton menjadi dorongan untuk merasakan sensasi ketubuhan penari kontemporer. Abstract

The Body Exercise course at the UNP Dance Education Study Program is a process of transforming knowledge and body dance technique skills in order to train professional body skills. The dance techniques learned in bodybuilding courses make Silek the foundation for the birth of movement. This study aims to analyze the basic movements of silek which are used as supporting materials for strengthening Minangkabau bodily techniques in the Body Exercise course at the Dance Education Study Program UNP. The results show that Silek is the basic element for Minangkabau bodybuilding and dance techniques. Body training using the silek technique trains dancing skills from the aspect of strength, accuracy and balance. Some elements of silek are also emphasized in bodybuilding training, such as: Tagak jo Step, Gelek, Balabek, Simpia, Baliak, Tagak itiak, Garak jo Garik and Raso jo Pareso. Silek is an alternative to maintain the character of the Minangkabau body in Body Exercise courses. This research is a qualitative research, using interview and observation techniques to collect data.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of silek in the development of dance in Minangkabau. Silek became the root in the creation of dance movements. Starting from traditional dances such as pasambahan dance, galombang dance, piriang dance, to modern dance with a contemporary style. Every aspect of the initial movement to the final movement, Minangkabau dance is inseparable from the silek element that dominates and becomes a characteristic. Although the pattern of modernity affects the social life of the community, it does not change the belief in shifting the existence of silek in the creation of Minangkabau dance works. This study examines how important silek is in dance in Minangkabau. Through qualitative research methods, it will be seen from every aspect of silek and its development by observation, observation and interview. The development of dance in Minangkabau is seen from the intensity of society which always develops silek on dance and makes dance a medium to express meaning in the order of life.

Abstract

Nodus Tollens’ is the title of a dance art work that uses the psychological approach of Bipolar Disorder. The choreography of the work is composed to express the idea of Bipolar that affects one's mindset and emotions. Nodus Tollens' work is a picture of the behavior, habits, and character of humans with bipolar who are transferred into gestures using contemporary dance techniques. This study describes the process of choreographing creation and exploration of the Bipolar body with three episodes of depression, manic and hypomanic. Nodus Tollens' work became a performance with a creative process that prioritized the science of dance choreography. Some of the things presented in Nodus Tollens' dance work include the social value of society in interpreting bipolar sufferers. This research uses a qualitative approach with an orientation of meaning and understanding.

Abstract

The figure of Siti Manggopoh is an inspirational Minangkabau woman who fought for human rights. The dance work "Manggopoh Dalam Bingkai" showcases and symbolizes her unwavering spirit as she led a war against the Dutch. It reflects the traditional martial art of "silek" as the dancers' fundamental movement. This dance work carefully incorporates local idioms with distinct Minangkabau nuances, including the setting, music, costumes, dialogue, and etiquette. Its main objective is to nurture creativity in the creation of dance art, an aspect that has been studied throughout the course of education."Manggopoh Dalam Bingkai" sets a benchmark for choreographers aspiring to transform historical events into dance works with compelling storylines. Drawing inspiration from the phenomenal figure of Siti Manggopoh, this production aims to preserve and carry forward the precious local wisdom from the land of Minang.Through this dance work, we revitalize the spirit of resilient and courageous Minangkabau women. It serves as a powerful reminder of the values of bravery, tenacity, and an unyielding spirit in defending their homeland from oppression. With its captivating movements and expressions, "Manggopoh Dalam Bingkai" aims to inspire present and future generations to cherish and continue the struggle and cultural heritage of great significance.
