However, it must be known in advance which technology is more appropriate to use so that evaluation of clinical practice among nursing students can meet the expected quality. Objective: This literature review aims to analyse the efforts that have been made to improve the quality of clinical practice evaluation among nursing students in the digital technology transformation era. Methodology: The literature review uses electronic database sources through journal search engines, Google Scholar, Pro-Quest, PUBMED, and Science Direct. The journal crteria taken were the last five years (2018-2023) using the keywords "improving the quality of evaluation of clinical practice among nursing students using digital technology.". Results: Based on the results of the literature that has been collected, it is found that two ways can be done to improve the quality of evaluation of clinical practice among nursing students in this digital transformation era, namely by utilizing digital technology developments and also supported by efforts without using digital technology. Conclusion: The application of digital technology must be well planned and reviewed from various angles to produce clinical practice evaluations among qualified nursing students.

Abstract

The quality of clinical education and the generation of nursing resources in Indonesia are influenced by the success of achieving clinical nursing learning by students in clinical practice. Because clinical learning is an important stage in improving clinical competence for students to practice skills, increase knowledge and develop a professional spirit of students into an atmosphere of clinical trials to evaluate real cases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence learning outcomes in clinical learning among nursing students in Indonesia. This study used the Literature review method by taking electronic database data sources, namely Google Schloar, Science Direct, PubMed and Garuda with articles published in 2017 to 2022 with the keywords Clinical Learning, Learning Outcome, Clinical Competence, Nursing Student. After selection and identification according to the inclusion criteria, 15 articles were reviewed. Based on the results of the analysis of 15 research articles reviewed. There are several factors that influence the learning outcomes of clinical competency learning for clinical nursing practice students in Indonesia, namely the application of clinical learning methods, the role of academic preceptors and clinical preceptors and factors from students (preceptees). Suggestion: it is hoped that students, academic preceptors and clinical preceptors can improve interpersonal relationships and communication optimally and determine effective learning methods to improve the Learning Outcome Of Nursing Clinical Practice.

Abstract

This pilot study examines the effectiveness of Hepar Sulph and Aloe Vera in diabetic foot ulcer management. Key findings indicate superior outcomes with Hepar Sulph in wound size reduction and closure time. Implications for alternative wound care strategies are discussed. Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) pose a significant challenge in diabetic patient management. This pilot study aims to compare the effectiveness of Hepar Sulph and Aloe Vera in promoting wound healing among diabetic foot ulcer patients. A total of 60 participants were divided into three groups: 20 in the control group treated with normal saline (NaCl), 20 in the Aloe Vera group, and 20 in the Hepar Sulph group. The study found that both Hepar Sulph and Aloe Vera were effective in wound healing, with Hepar Sulph demonstrating superior results. This study highlights the potential of Hepar Sulph as a more effective treatment option for DFUs compared to Aloe Vera.

Abstract

Electronic nursing documentation (END) has become an essential component of modern nursing practice. The use of END is expected to improve the quality of patient care through more accurate and efficient record keeping. This article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic nursing documentation in improving the quality of patient care. This systematic review study was conducted in June-July 2024 by searching the literature on electronic databases such as ProQuest, Science Direct, PubMed, and Google Scholar for articles published between 2019 and 2024. The keywords used included “electronic nursing documentation”, or “computerized nursing documentation” and “quality of care” and “nurse” “hospital”. Two reviewers independently screened the articles, extracted data, and assessed the quality of the included studies using the Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). There were 9 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analysed further. The inclusion criteria were RCT and non RCT, cross sectional and observational study, and hospital setting, while the exclusion criteria were qualitative study and literature or systematic review. The analysis showed that the use of END significantly improved the quality of nursing care, enhanced communication and collaboration among healthcare providers, leading to improved patient outcomes. Besides, END improved documentation accuracy, time efficiency, operational efficiency, error reduction and patient safety. However, some challenges such as monitoring and evaluation from nurse managers regarding the accuracy and quality of documentation and the need for computer skills training are also needed. It Concluded the electronic nursing documentation has great potential to improve the quality of patient care in hospitals

Abstract

Background: The glucose index is an important parameter in diabetes management and general health. Intermittent fasting has become an interesting research topic in an attempt to control glucose index. This study Glucose index is an important parameter in diabetes management and general health. Intermittent fasting has become an interesting research topic in an attempt to control glucose index. Purpose: This study aims to conduct a systematic review of the different types of intermittent fasting and their impact on glucose index control. Method: The research method used was a thorough literature search in scientific databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect for articles investigating different types of intermittent fasting in the context of glucose index control. We evaluated these articles based on their methodological quality and identified key findings. Results: The results of this systematic review showed that different types of intermittent fasting, including 16/8 fasting, 5:2 fasting, daily fasting, and full-day fasting, have varying impacts on glucose index control. Some studies showed significant reductions in fasting blood glucose levels, improved insulin sensitivity, and decreased insulin resistance. However, the results may vary depending on the duration of fasting, the type of food consumed during the feeding period, and individual characteristics. Conclusion: suggests that intermittent fasting could be a potentially effective strategy in glucose index control. However, more studies need to be conducted to better understand which type of intermittent fasting is most effective and safe for individuals with various health conditions.
