Abstract

Penelitian ini menilik fenomena dakwah kontemporer yang mengisyaratkan tuntutan terhadap kemampuan para dai untuk mampu menentukan posisi gebrakan dakwah baru dalam kegiatan dakwah. Kehadiran media massa internet telah membuka cakrawala ummat Islam untuk turut andil dalam operasionalisasi dakwah di balik berbagai wacana dengan menggunakan senjata kata-kata untuk membius ummat manusia dengan berlandaskan asas-asas dakwah yang dibutuhkan untuk mewujudkan tujuan khaira ummah di tengah gejala dunia global syndrom saat ini. Termasuk di dalamnya website dakwatuna.com yang berusaha menampilkan wajah dakwah dalam bentuk kekinian. Dengan menggunakan jasa internet, website ini muncul dengan menawarkan berbagai tema/topic sesuai kebutuhan ummat. Hasil penelitian melalui analisis teks menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan dakwatuna.com menyajikan dakwah dengan menggunakan teks berupa artikel-artikel, telah membentuk beberapa karakteristik wacana tersendiri sesuai dengan kaidah yang dijumpai dalam kegiatan jurnalistik. Dimana teks yang terbentuk menjadi sebuah wacana memiliki makna tertentu sesuai tema dengan tidak meninggalkan unsur-unsur yang harus dimiliki dalam sebuah layaknya tulisan jurnalistik yang patut dimuat di media massa. Analisis wacana yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan dakwah yang memanfaatkan media massa internet ini memberikan karakteristik pesan media yang kuat demikian pula dengan pembentukan peran dakwah yang dapat disimpulkan melalui wacana yang terdapat dalam website ini telah dapat mengundang para mad’u (ummat manusia) untuk mengakses/mengunjungi website ini dengan jumlah yang tidak sedikit.

Abstract

The research that underlies this paper aims to look at changes in adolescent behavior in the village after the proliferation of gadgets and the response of parents to changes in the behavior of these adolescents. The village of Muara Mensao, which is the location of the research, is located in the upper reaches of Jambi and only received an internet signal five years ago. Positive habits were once a part of village youth's life. Afternoon sports, cooperation, and being on the committee for a feast are three examples. Through observations and interviews with local community leaders, parents, and six teenagers, gadgets or gadgets that enter the village following the presence of an internet signal, it is recognized that it has harmed the youth of Muaro Mensao, namely: reduced social bonds and face-to-face contact with fellow teenagers, changes in interest from collective activities become online games, leading teenagers to gamble and negative content on the internet. Parents and the community have taken actions to reduce the negative impact of gadgets by: first, instilling religious values, secondly teaching discipline to their children, and thirdly giving verbal advice and warnings.

Abstract

This research delves into the integration of hybrid learning amidst digital disruption, targeting the reduction of learning gaps within PTKI (Islamic Higher Education Institutions) context. Utilizing a blend of quantitative analysis of student data and qualitative methods including interviews, surveys, and observations across three PTKIs in South Sumatra, Indonesia, the study evaluates the effectiveness of hybrid learning in mitigating learning loss. Results highlight that the combination of virtual and traditional classroom elements through hybrid learning significantly narrows learning deficits, enhances student involvement, and fosters better academic outcomes. These findings serve as a valuable contribution to understanding hybrid learning practices specifically within PTKI settings, shedding light on its potential in addressing educational challenges amid digital advancements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena terhadap budaya sekolah dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan budaya sekolah di SMPIT Nurul Ilmi Kota Jambi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Creswell dan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian budaya sekolah dapat terlihat dari adanya penerapan budaya sekolah yang menjadi budaya daripada para siswa yaitu: sistem religi, sistem kemasyarakatan, sistem pengetahuan, sistem mata pencaharian hidup, sistem teknologi dan perlengkapan hidup manusia, bahasa, dan kesenian. Karakter siswa penerapan majelis pagi, penerapan menjalankan sunnah, dan penutup majelis sore. Yang kemudian habituasi dengan nilai-nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tau, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli social, dan tanggung jawab. Kesimpulan bahwa budaya sekolah dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa budaya sekolah dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa di SMPIT Nurul Ilmi Kota Jambi Jambi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality of media coverage in constructing political figures for mayoral candidates who campaign through these media. Through the media agenda setting theory, the author examines the SeruJambi.com media in reporting Syarif Fasha as one of the candidates for the Jambi Mayor's candidate in 2018. The analysis goes through three things, namely: message framing, use of words and objectivity. The research method used is interpretive qualitative by emphasizing written sources in the form of documenting the contents of Syarif Fasha's news on the online media SeruJambi.com. The results of the study found that there was an imbalance in Seru Jambi.com in constructing the news of Syarif Fasha as one of the candidates for the Mayor of Jambi 2018. There is a message framing strategy in reporting the daily life of the candidate. The use of words with a simplification strategy from scientific language into everyday language, repetition of words as a pointer to the core idea of ​​the news, synonyms (similar words) by writing different words to prevent boredom. Similarity of topics to clarify a previous sentence, as a framing strategy to highlight the main idea of ​​the news

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality that occurs in society, namely between people in rural areas who are still implementing seloko, on the contrary in urban areas seloko has begun to fade so that both its existence and value that should be embedded in the identity of the community actually happens the other way around. The research approach that the author uses is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Research with descriptive theory is a systematic description of the theory and research results that are relevant to the variables to be studied. To obtain accurate and relevant data with the object of research, the authors apply three methods of data collection, namely, field observations, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained by the author are first, da'wah communication using seloko is considered effective because it can make the communicants become interested and feel comfortable, besides that it also makes the substance of the information conveyed more easily understood by the communicants. Second, da'wah communication with seloko is also useful, because the content of seloko itself contains expressions that include rules for behavior in the daily life of the people and legal rules or norms, which are always obeyed and respected by the community because they have sanctions. Applying the substance of the seloko means applying the customs that apply in their respective regions.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the presence of migrants in Padang Jering Village, Sarolagun who demanded that they communicate with local residents. This article will explain the socio-cultural background that influences people's communication practices, and barriers to intercultural communication between local residents and immigrants in Padang Jering Village, as well as finding solutions to these communication barriers. Using qualitative research methods with the type of field research, the study conducted observations and interviews with informants in mid-2020. This study found that cultural elements that influence such as language, religious systems and knowledge. Barriers to intercultural communication between local residents and immigrants are semantic and language barriers. The first attempt to prevent intercultural communication barriers between local residents and immigrants in Padang Jering Village was to use language such as a smile to stay in touch. Second, by using the help of others to become intermediaries to communicate with local residents, including teaching the local language. Third, by using Indonesian when they want to communicate. Researchers reference mutual understanding in culture and other things that have differences, and tolerance in order to communicate smoothly and can avoid barriers to intercultural communication.

Abstract

This research demonstrates that public archaeological studies have not been extensively explored, as evidenced by the presence of Islamic archaeological themes in online media. Islamic archaeological themes, such as ancient mosques, which are Islamic relics, have been widely discovered in Indonesia. Ancient mosques, in the context of archaeological studies, are examined from the perspective of their architecture. The purpose of this research is to examine Islamic architecture within Kompas media. To validate this study scientifically and holistically, qualitative methods are employed with intensive library and documentation methods, using a descriptive content analysis approach. In this research, the descriptive content analysis approach attempts to explain the actual state of online news up to the explanatory stage. Therefore, this paper discusses news data on Islamic architecture featured in Kompas online media from 2017 to 2023, including the spatial layout and decorative elements of Islamic architecture in Kompas online media as well as the functions and meanings attributed to Islamic architecture in Kompas online media.
