Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini untuk merancang alat kontrol suhu dan kelembaban rumah walet berbasis android yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil perancangan alat kontrol suhu dan kelembaban rumah walet berbasis android dan juga untuk mengetahui keefektifan hasil dari pengujian alat kontrol suhu dan kelembaban rumah walet berbasis android. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian R&D dengan menerapkan metode penelitian prototype yang meliputi pengumpulan kebutuhan, proses desain, membangun prototype, pengujian, evaluasi, dan pengembangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa alat kontrol suhu dan kelembaban berbasis android yang dirancang berhasil dibuat sesuai dengan apa yang sudah didesain dan ditetapkan. Hasil uji juga menunjukkan bahwa alat ini efektif dalam penggunaannya dengan tingkat pengujian komponen 100% berfungsi, pengujian relative error terhadap suhu 1,43% dan terhadap kelembaban 4,72% dengan tingkat akurasi sensor suhu 98,57% dan sensor kelembaban 95,28%, pengujian keseluruhan sistem dalam mengontrol suhu menunjukan rata-rata suhu 28,8 oC dan rata-rata kelembaban berada di 86,31%RH, pengujian fungsionality suitability keberhasilan 100%, uji usability menunjukan hasil persentase sebesar 85% yang dikategorikan sangat baik, pengujian performance effeciency dengan penggunaan CPU dan RAM yang minim, pengujian compability di dua faktor berjalan dengan baik, pengujian maintainability memiliki keberhasilan 100% di 3 faktor, dan pengujian portability dengan keberhasilan 100%. Sehingga penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan teknologi dalam konteks budidaya burung walet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan dan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VI mata pelajaran IPA di SDN 59 Rea Kabupaten Pangkep setelah penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif dua dimensi berbasis articulate storyline. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah melalui kuisioner. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 9 responden. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian, diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 25, yang terdiri dari uji validasi, uji reliabilitas, teknik analisis data deskriptif, dan perbandingan nilai rata-rata siswa tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dan siswa tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang telah dilakukan penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif dua dimensi berbasis articulate storyline. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 1 siklus pembelajaran yang terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada proses penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif dua dimensi berbasis articulate storyline pertemuan I dan pertemuan II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 22 persen dan pada pertemuan III mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11 persen dari pertemuan II sehingga berada pada kategori sangat baik dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VI mata pelajaran IPA SDN 59 Rea Kabupaten Pangkep berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 44,4 persen dengan peningkatan motivasi belajar sebesar 15 persen yang dibandingkan dari nilai rata-rata siswa tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dan siswa tahun ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

The focus of this program is Mendeley Reference Management Training for Electrical Engineering Education Students at FT UNM in Makassar City. The main challenge in putting this community service project into practice is figuring out how to improve the academic standards of students at Makassar State University's Faculty of Engineering, particularly in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, by learning about and compiling a bibliography to support final assignment activities. According to the 2019 Final project Guidelines for the Faculty of Engineering, a bibliography should follow the guidelines provided and include information about all sources utilized in the research report and final project. Training is required to enhance students' abilities in reference management because the majority of students create bibliographies manually, which leads to a variety of issues, including inefficient writing of the bibliography. In order to create a good and appropriate bibliography or reference list that complies with the guidelines provided in the UNM FT Student Final Assignment Guidelines, this service activity aims to provide an understanding of the Mendeley application and how to use it.

Abstract

Community service activities were implemented to enhance the understanding and application of electrical installation standards in Bantaeng Regency, Indonesia, by supporting the achievement of SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. In this regard, a series of activities, such as presentations, field audits, and practical training, were conducted for the residents of Bantaeng Regency on the importance of compliance with PUIL. The findings showed that there is a big difference between the existing practice of electrical installation and the recommended standard. This project seeks to address this issue in pursuit of better energy efficiency, safety, and reliability for local households. These activities also profiled several challenges to the promotion of electrical safety, such as inequalities in public awareness and resource limitation. Despite these challenges, such activities show how community-based initiatives could be applied to broader goals of sustainable energy access. Future activities might consider the long-term impact of such interventions and identify ways in which these efforts may be scaled up.

Abstract

Based on (Aulia Ryza Aqilla, 2024) previous statement, utilizing renewable energy sources has been increasingly recognized as a trend, this particularly concerning the economic issues faced by the Indonesian population. A green economy involves the adoption of more environmentally friendly energy sources to support citizen’s livelihood. Several areas in Indonesia have begun implementing renewable energy technology, such as solar energy (PLTS), to enhance the life quality for their citizen. PKBM Ingin Maju has become a partner embraced in this program to enhance their knowledge and awareness among the community about transitioning to renewable energy through the planning and implementation of small-scale solar power plant (PLTS). The mentoring activities include presentations on the role and benefits of renewable energy as an alternative to commercial energy sources, which still far short of meeting resident’s energy needs. At the end of the community service program, evaluation showed that most participants were previously unaware of this technology and expressed their willingness to start implementing PLTS at their households.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengevaluasi Sistem Informasi Sekolah berbasis web di SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai, dengan tujuan mengintegrasikan informasi sekolah yang sebelumnya terfragmentasi. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan PHP dan JavaScript untuk antarmuka, serta MySQL sebagai basis data. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini valid berdasarkan standar kualitas ISO 25010, dengan aspek functional suitability (Sangat Baik), efficiency (Grade A), usability (Sangat Layak), reliability (Memenuhi), portability (Sangat Tinggi), security (Medium/Level 2), compability (Sangat Baik) dan Maintainabiliy (Sangat Layak). Tingkat kepraktisan juga mencapai rata-rata 94,07%, menunjukkan bahwa sistem mudah digunakan dan dapat diterima oleh pengguna. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen sekolah, mempermudah akses informasi, serta mendukung integrasi data yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa, guru, dan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Sekolah, Website, ISO 25010.

Abstract

This study use Classroom Action Research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research with research subjects, namely class X TKJ 1 SMKN 10 Makassar, totaling 36 people. This research was conducted with the aim to determine the level of certainty or confidence in each answer given by students so that it can be classified between students who experience a concept error in understanding a concept with students who understand the concept. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle there were 3 meetings using action procedures namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting using cooperative learning models. Data collection is done by pretest at the beginning of the cycle, posttest at the end of the cycle, observation of student activities and CRI assessment of the answers given by students in a question. The results of this study indicate that using the Certainly Of Response Index (CRI) assessment index can help to distinguish between students who understand the material, students who experience misconceptions and students who do not understand the material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu sistem penyewaan alat berat online berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan Database MySql. Penelitian ini dilakukan di CV. Tri Daya Jaya Jl. Ir. Sutami, Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunaka pada penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research anda Development). Metode pengembangan aplikasi adala metode pengembangan SDLC (System Developmen Life Cycle) yaitu prototype yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan-tahapan: pengumpulan kebutuhanm membangun prototyping, evaluasi prototyping, mengkodekan sistem, evaluasi system, menggunakan system. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perancangan sistem penyewaan alat berat berbasis web adalah sebuah sistem penyewaan alat berat. Yang diharapkan dapat mempermudah pengguna untuk menyewa alat berat yang diinginkan secara Online, baik mengenai harga dan jenis alat berat. Dari hasil uji coba dan validasi aplikasi diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kualitas sistem ini adalah baik. Kemudian hasil uji coba menggunakan pengujian Black Box diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sistem ini layak digunakan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Perplexity AI on the academic achievement of students in the Informatics and Computer Education Study Program at Makassar State University using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. The background of this study is based on the increasing use of artificial intelligence in higher education, particularly the use of Perplexity AI, which helps students complete academic assignments and search for references. Although it offers convenience, the use of AI also poses challenges related to critical thinking and academic integrity, while research examining its influence on student academic achievement is still limited. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto design. The research sample consisted of 249 students from the 2022–2023 cohort, determined using probability sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) has a significant effect on Perceived Usefulness (PU) with a value of β=0.800, t=27.297, p<0.001, but no significant effect on Behavioral Intention (BI) with a value of β=0.038, t=0.465, p=0.642. Furthermore, PU significantly affects BI with a value of β=0.685, t=8.724, p<0.001 and Academic Achievement (PA) with a value of β=0.368, t=4.220, p<0.001. BI significantly affects Actual System Usage (ASU) with a value of β=0.758, t=17.614, p<0.001, and ASU significantly affects PA with β=0.489, t=5.847, p<0.001. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Perplexity AI has a positive impact on improving student academic achievement through perceived benefits and actual usage intensity.
