Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi pemahaman komputer siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Makassar dan implikasinya pada pembelajaran dengan metode penelitian ex post facto, pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan jenis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data statistik digunakan untuk menghitung mean, median, modus, dan persentase dari kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan valid dari kuesioner terkait pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer dan implikasinya pada pembelajaran. Hasilnya menunjukkan rata-rata persentase pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer sebesar 69.78%, dengan implikasi pada pembelajaran sebesar 69.21%. Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan tingkat reliabilitas yang sangat tinggi (>0.81). Observasi tingkat pemahaman siswa rata-rata 69.48%, sementara observasi implikasi tingkat pemahaman terhadap pembelajaran adalah 69.93%. Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata persentase dari keempat jenis kuesioner adalah sekitar 69%, dengan median antara 67.20% hingga 69.80%. Modus masing-masing kategori kuesioner berbeda, menunjukkan variasi pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer. Tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer memiliki modus 60%, observasi tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer memiliki modus 69.60%, implikasi tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer pada pembelajaran memiliki modus 68.80%, dan observasi implikasi tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap komputer pada pembelajaran memiliki modus 67.20%.

Abstract

Improving problem-solving skills is crucial in facing global competition. Therefore, it is important to provide early training. With the development of technology and computer usage, a new approach has emerged in developing problem-solving skills known as Computational Thinking (CT). CT is based on the fundamental principles of computer science, where problems are understood in abstract terms and solutions are developed through illustrations. Since 2016, Indonesia has actively participated in the Bebras Community and promoted Computational Thinking through the organization of Bebras Challenge for students nationwide. The Faculty of Engineering at UNM has also been involved as a Bebras Bureau in organizing the Bebras Challenge in South Sulawesi. The Bebras training for teachers aims to introduce Computational Thinking skills so that every teacher can teach and train their students in developing problem-solving skills. The training was attended by representatives from 100 junior high schools in North Luwu Regency.Kabupaten Luwu Utara.

Abstract

The Community Service Activity aims to provide understanding to high school students in Maros District about the socialization in choosing a College to continue their studies, especially in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar, in accordance with the talents and interests of the students. The Community Service is conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Maros, SMA Negeri 1 Maros, and SMA Negeri 4 Maros, involving 100 (one hundred) students. Through the implementation of socialization, it is hoped to produce students who have a linear correlation between their interests and talents towards their chosen study programs, especially in the study programs available in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education at State Universitas Negeri Makassar, ensuring that students do not experience Drop Out (DO). Based on the results of the community service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that several problems are still encountered by prospective students and teachers in high schools in Maros District. Many prospective students have not yet determined their university and study program choices even though the time for new student registration is approaching. With the implementation of this community service activity, prospective new students are able to get to know the study programs better, especially those available in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education at Universitas Negeri Makassar

Abstract

The use of electro-pneumatic learning media at SMKN 9 Makassar holds great potential to enhance students' understanding in the field of electrical engineering. However, teachers at the school have not yet been able to fully utilize this media, primarily due to limited technical knowledge. Although electro-pneumatic devices are available at the school, only a few teachers are capable of operating them independently, resulting in minimal use of this technology in teaching and learning activities. Through this community service initiative, these challenges faced by teachers are addressed through systematic training that includes both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice. The training is conducted in several stages, from field orientation to demonstration and simulation, enabling teachers not only to familiarize themselves with electro-pneumatic technology but also to apply it in daily classroom teaching. This training aims to increase teacher professionalism and effectively utilize electro-pneumatic media to create an interactive and practical learning environment.

Abstract

Community service activities were implemented to enhance the understanding and application of electrical installation standards in Bantaeng Regency, Indonesia, by supporting the achievement of SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. In this regard, a series of activities, such as presentations, field audits, and practical training, were conducted for the residents of Bantaeng Regency on the importance of compliance with PUIL. The findings showed that there is a big difference between the existing practice of electrical installation and the recommended standard. This project seeks to address this issue in pursuit of better energy efficiency, safety, and reliability for local households. These activities also profiled several challenges to the promotion of electrical safety, such as inequalities in public awareness and resource limitation. Despite these challenges, such activities show how community-based initiatives could be applied to broader goals of sustainable energy access. Future activities might consider the long-term impact of such interventions and identify ways in which these efforts may be scaled up.

Abstract

The traditional perimeter-based security model has proven inadequate in addressing modern cybersecurity challenges characterized by cloud adoption, remote work, and sophisticated cyber threats. This mixed-methods study examines Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) as an emerging paradigm that fundamentally shifts security principles from "trust but verify" to "never trust, always verify." Through systematic literature review of 156 peer-reviewed articles and analysis of 12 cross-sector implementation case studies, this research explores the core principles, implementation strategies, benefits, and challenges of ZTA adoption. Key quantitative findings demonstrate that organizations implementing ZTA achieve 67% reduction in breach costs, 48% improvement in threat detection, and 52% enhancement in incident response capabilities. However, implementation faces significant barriers including technical complexity (78% of organizations), cultural resistance (65%), and skills gaps (72%). This study contributes a novel cross-sector ZTA maturity framework and provides evidence-based insights for cybersecurity professionals and organizational leaders considering ZTA adoption.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan game edukasi melalui Quizizz dalam evaluasi pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Profesi Kependidikan di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian dilakukan melalui mixed-method dalam mengumpulkan data dari mahasiswa selama satu semester yang dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pengumpulan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil ujian tengah semester dan ujian akhir semester yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji-T dan hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis kemampuan dan pengalaman mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan game edukasi melalui Quizizz pada mata kuliah profesi kependidikan. Perolehan data kualitatif dilakukan melalui hasil wawancara dengan beberapa mahasiswa pada akhir semester. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan game edukasi melalui Quizizz memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa di kelas melalui perkuliahan blended learning. Kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi lebih interaktif, inovatif, menyenangkan, dan tidak membosankan. Mahasiswa di dalam kelas tidak hanya mendengarkan materi dari dosen tetapi juga mampu berinteraksi dengan baik dalam proses perkuliahan antara dosen dengan mahasiswa maupun antar sesama mahasiswa melalui aktivitas game edukasi yang diterapkan untuk mendukung evaluasi pembelajaran. Penggunaan penilaian berbasis game edukasi melalui Quizizz sangat membantu para dosen dalam merancang soal yang menarik dalam evaluasi pembelajaran di kelas. Melalui game Quizizz ini juga penilaian dapat langsung diketahui oleh mahasiswa dan dosen karena langsung menampilkan hasil dari ujian yang telah dilaksanakan sehingga penilaian mampu transparan dan berjalan secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Abstract – By their competence, village officials are professionals who function to carry out government activities at the village level where in carrying out their duties they are required to run efficiently. To carry out these efficient community service activities, qualified personnel are required. In government activities in Sibatua Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency, the apparatus's ability is still lacking, so service activities related to the technological capabilities where needed, especially in the use of Google Apps including Google Drive, Google Forms, and Google Sheet.

Abstract

Abstract – The problem is based on the frequent occurrence of fires due to short circuits electricity, this is the result of a lack of public understanding regarding the use, selection of correct and safe electrical equipment and the high number of houses that have the potential to catch fire due to old electrical installations more than 20 years, human error, and a house made of wood. Installation Equipment electricity is a solution offered to the community by referring to on General Electrical Installation Requirements (PUIL 2011) for residential houses and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for installation equipment. Through this PKM activity, the program carried out is to socialize the use of electrical equipment and the use of electrical energy to avoid overload which can lead to insulation failure resulting in electric short circuit; In this activity, an explanation of the components is givenelectrical installation, how to select, install and maintain.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) partner is SD Negeri 13 Allu. The problems are: (1) teachers lack knowledge about the concept of citation in scientific work,(2) teachers have doubts about writing reading sources as a reference for research writing, (3) the citation system has so far been done manually, and (4) teachers have not been able to use the reference creation application automatically. The external goal is scientific work that is more systematic and coherent in citing reference sources. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and companion partners. The results achieved are (1) partners know the concept of citing in scientific work, (2) partners have the skills to write reference sources appropriately, (3) partners can use developing technology, especially in writing references automatically, (4) teachers have skills using Mendeley's application in writing scientific papers.
