Abstract

Masalah utama pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia bagi siswa SDI No. 158 Balewang Kec. Rumbia Kab. Jeneponto Prov. Sulawesi Selatan di dalam mempergunakan teknologi informasi khususnya mengakses internet secara cepat dan tepat. Tujuan dan manfaat pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah membekali pengetahuan dasar para siswa SDI No. 158 Balewang Kec. Rumbia Kab. Jeneponto Prov. Sulawesi Selatan untuk mengakses internet secara cepat dan tepat. Dasar pemikiran yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah bagaimana agar siswa SDI No. 158 Balewang Kec. Rumbia Kab. Jeneponto Prov. Sulawesi Selatan tidak lagi mendapatkan kesulitan di dalam mencari ilmu pengetahuan melalui media internet. Pelatihan ini juga dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktek. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengakses internet siswa SDI No. 158 Balewang Kec. Rumbia Kab. Jeneponto Prov. Sulawesi Selatan meningkat secara signifikan.

Abstract

The main problem in implementing this Community Service activity is how to improve the quality of human resources for members of PKBM Want to Advance Bantaeng Regency in maintaining and repairing household electrical equipment. The aim and benefit of carrying out the activity is to provide basic knowledge for PKBM Want to Advance members on how to maintain and repair household electrical equipment quickly and precisely. The rationale behind this training activity is how to ensure that PKBM Want to Progress Bantaeng Regency members no longer have difficulties in maintaining and repairing household electrical equipment, both PKBM members themselves and in the community. This training is also carried out using lecture, discussion, question and answer and simulation (practice) methods. From these results it can be concluded that the skills of the Bantaeng Regency Want to Advance PKBM members in maintaining and repairing household electrical equipment have increased significantly.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia kerja yang semakin maju dengan didukung teknologi yang semakin dapat diterapkan di Indonesia tentunya membutuhkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang memadahi. Pembentukan sumber daya manusia tentunya tidak lepas dari instansi pendidikan baik formal maupun nonformal. Pendidikan adalah awal dari terbentuknya intelegensi, moral dan karakter bangsa. Disamping pembentukan intelegensi, moral dan karakter, pendidikan juga memiliki peranan dalam mempertajam keterampilan (skill).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) pengaruh kesiapan kerja siswa secara signifikan terhadap prestasi praktek kerja industri siswa, (2) pengaruh prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran kompetensi keahlian secara signifikan terhadap prestasi praktek kerja industri siswa, (3) pengaruh kesiapan kerja siswa dan prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran kompetensi keahlian secara signifikan bersamaan terhadap prestasi praktek kerja industri siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Baras Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 46 siswa kelas 12 Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan jaringan (TKJ). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data deskriptif dan analisis data inferensial yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda yang dimana proses analisis data menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa: (1) kesiapan kerja (X1) mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan) terhadap prestasi praktek kerja industri siswa SMK Negeri 2 Baras Kabupaten Pasangkayu (Y) dengan kontribusi sebesar 58,34 %, (2) prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran kompetensi keahlian (X2) tidak memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi praktek kerja industri siswa SMK Negeri 2 Baras Kabupaten Pasangkayu (Y), (3) kesiapan kerja (X1) dan prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran komptensi keahlian (X2 )secara bersamaan mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi praktek kerja industri siswa SMK Negeri 2 Baras Kabupaten Pasangkayu (Y) dengan kontribusi sebesar 18,1 %. Saran dari peneliti, sebaiknya pihak sekolah melakukan kerjasama dengan intansi DU/DI yang sesuai dengan Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan agar ilmu yang didapatkan dari sekolah bisa diterapkan di pihak DU/DI. Salah satu instansi yang peneliti rekomendasikan adalah PT. PLN (Persero) dan Kementrian Pendidikan dan kebudayaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perancangan trainer voice over internet protocol (VoIP) sebagai media pembelajaran di SMKN 10 Makassar dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan pengguna terhadap penggunaan trainer VoIP dalam kegiatan praktik mata pelajaran teknologi layanan jaringan khususnya materi VoIP yang mana sebelumnya kegiatan belajar mengajar dan praktik materi VoIP tidak menggunakan trainer karena ketiadaan trainer VoIP di sekolah dan mengganggu model jaringan yang telah terpasang pada labolatorium komputer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan ADDIE melalui lima tahapan yaitu analisis (analize), desain (design), pengembangan (develop), penerapan (implementation) dan evaluasi (evaluation). Selanjutnya pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert untuk mendapatkan validasi ahli media dan respon guru serta peserta didik. Hasil validasi ahli media menyatakan trainer yang dibuat memenuhi syarat valid, untuk respon guru dan siswa mencapai kriteria sangat menarik. Sehingga trainer yang dibuat dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk materi VoIP mata Pelajaran teknologi layanan jaringan kelas XI TKJ di SMKN 10 Makassar.

Abstract

Water is an important resource for human survival as well as various economic sectors. PDAM is responsible for providing water supply to the community. One of the major challenges faced in managing water supply is the problem of water loss or leakage. This research aims to overcome this problem by designing an innovative method to collect water discharge data on the distribution channel of PDAM Makassar using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This method uses the ESP32-CAM to take images of the water meter on the main pipe and save it to a database. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology is used to convert the image into text that can be processed. The test results show that the average error in meter readings is 0.215% with an average accuracy rate of 98%. Overall the system works well in reading digital meters and is reliable in monitoring water consumption visually and in real-time. Thus, this method can be an effective solution in detecting water leaks and improving the efficiency of water supply management by PDAMs, as well as saving resources and operational costs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of developing the Android-based Application for Damaged Road Reporting in Bulupabbulu Village, Tempe District, Wajo Regency based on the results of ISO 25010 testing standards and to determine the results of using the Damaged Road Reporting Application in Bulupabbulu Village, Tempe District, Wajo Regency based on Android. The development model used is a prototype and application quality testing based on the ISO 25010 quality standard. Based on the test results using the ISO 25010 quality standard, the damaged road reporting application has met the standards where: a) the percentage of eligibility is 100% in the Very Good category and has fulfilled the functionality aspect suitability; b) results of 100% are obtained and are in the very good category and have fulfilled the compatibility aspect; c) testing the performance efficiency aspect of the application can run properly without experiencing a memory leak resulting in force close and launch fail; d) the results obtained by 100% of users assess the developed application to be in the Very Good category and have fulfilled the usability aspect.

Abstract

Improper utilization of electricity due to control that is not in accordance with PUIL standards, will cause great losses to consumers of electricity users. The objectives to be achieved in this PKM are: (1) to increase the knowledge of students and teachers of SMK Darussalam Maros (Partners) in making Raspberry-based electrical energy saving device software using a smartphone, which functions to control the use of electrical energy in a house / office, (2) to improve Partner skills in making and utilizing Raspberry-based electrical energy saving devices using smartphones, according to the software that has been made, (3) to improve Partner skills in making interfaces and applications for Raspberry-based electrical energy saving devices using smartphones. The methods used in this Workshop training are lecture, discussion, question and answer and demonstration methods. The results of this PKM are (1) Partners' knowledge in making Raspberry-based electrical energy saving device software is more improved, (2) Partners' skills increase in terms of making and utilizing Raspberry-based electrical energy saving devices, (3) Partners' skills are more improved in making interfaces and applications for electrical energy saving devices, so that these devices can be controlled through smartphones, both from close range, and from a distance.

Abstract

The focus of this program is Mendeley Reference Management Training for Electrical Engineering Education Students at FT UNM in Makassar City. The main challenge in putting this community service project into practice is figuring out how to improve the academic standards of students at Makassar State University's Faculty of Engineering, particularly in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, by learning about and compiling a bibliography to support final assignment activities. According to the 2019 Final project Guidelines for the Faculty of Engineering, a bibliography should follow the guidelines provided and include information about all sources utilized in the research report and final project. Training is required to enhance students' abilities in reference management because the majority of students create bibliographies manually, which leads to a variety of issues, including inefficient writing of the bibliography. In order to create a good and appropriate bibliography or reference list that complies with the guidelines provided in the UNM FT Student Final Assignment Guidelines, this service activity aims to provide an understanding of the Mendeley application and how to use it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis web dengan menggunakan google sites pada mata pelajaran TIK materi perangkat keras komputer memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk peserta didik kelas VII. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Libureng Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 36 peserta didik kelas VII. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis data uji validitas, analisis data uji kepraktisan dan analisis data uji keefektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi dengan perolehan nilai 91.8% dan ahli media perolehan nilai 95%. Tahap selanjutnya yaitu uji praktis guru memperoleh nilai 94.2% dan uji praktis peserta didik dengan nilai presentase rata-rata 90.6% kedua uji tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas peserta didik memperoleh nilai 89.52% kategori sangat efektif berdasarkan hasil dari post-test. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis website menggunakan google sites yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran TIK materi perangkat keras komputer di kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Libureng Kabupaten Bone

Abstract

Almost the entire structure that supports modern life is related to electrical energy. The reality on the ground illustrates that there are still many uses of electrical energy that are not well targeted, which causes many short circuit accidents. To prevent this, good and correct electrical knowledge is needed and must be added with the use of a control system based on the Internet of Things that is energy efficient and serves to secure the building and its contents. This study aims to: 1) create an Internet Of Things (IoT)-Based Energy-Efficient Control System Software that functions to control the use of electrical energy in high-rise buildings using a Smartphone, 2) produce an Energy-Efficient Control System Device using software that has been created , 3) create Interfaces and Applications for energy-efficient control system devices based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with the help of smartphones that function to control electrical devices in high-rise buildings, both from close range and remotely. Data collection in this study used interview techniques with control experts, literature techniques, and direct measurement techniques for the control devices used. The data analysis method used in this study is a logic-method, based on an Internet of Things (IoT)-based control system using aSmartphone. The results of the study show that: 1) The Internet Of Things (IoT)-Based Energy Saving Control System Software has worked well, this is evidenced by the operation of all control systems, both on the security system (MCB), as well as for various controlled loads, 2 ) The Internet Of Thingsbased Energy-Efficient Control System which is made to control the equipment has worked well, this has been proven in research trials using Smartphones, 3). Interface and Application of Control System based on Internet Of Things that is made to work well, and can control electrical equipment contained in a multi-storey building.
