Abstract

Pengambilan Keputusan merupakan suatu aktivitas yang cukup penting dalam masa sekarang ini. Pada dasarnya pengambilan keputusan adalah suatu pendekatan sistematis pada hakekat suatu masalah, pengumpulan fakta-fakta, penentuan yang matang dari alternatif yang dihadapi dan pengambilan tindakan yang menurut perhitungan merupakan pengambilan tindakan yang paling tepat. Pengambilan keputusan kerap kali dihadapkan pada kerumitan dan lingkup pengambilan keputusan dengan data yang begitu banyak. Untuk kepentingan itu tersebut maka diperlukan seperangkat sistem yang mampu memecahkan masalah secara efisien dan efektif, yang kemudian disebut dengan sistem pendukung keputusan. Sistem pendukung keputusan dapat dibuat dengan berbagai model penghitungan pengambilan keputusan tergantung objek pengambilan keputusannya. Model pengambilan keputusan akan menuntut seorang pengambil keputusan dalam menentukan model yang sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi. Tulisan ini berisikan tentang suatu model pengambilan keputusan yaitu SAW (SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHT) sebagai proses pengambilan keputusan dengan melibatkan banyak kriteria. Dalam tulisan ini menggambarkan riset perancangan suatu aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan dalam penentuan perangkat android terbaik menggunakan metode SAW (SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHT).

Abstract

The ease of sending data with the development of internet technology technology is now a concern, especially the problem of data confidentiality, integrity and information security. Cryptography is one of the techniques used to maintain data confidentiality and information security, the application of cryptographic techniques for information security and data integrity is highly dependent on the formation of keys. In this study proposed a frequency analysis approach to measure the level of information security of blowfish encryption results to determine the distribution form of each character used in the text and find out the exact frequency of each character used in the test text data. The encryption algorithm and description of blowfish method against plaintext are proven to be accurate, but the longer the key character used will greatly affect the level of information security that came from encryption process, this is based on the results of the frequency analysis conducted.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berisikan tentang suatu model pengambilan keputusan yaitu SAW(SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHT) sebagai proses pengambilan keputusan dengan melibatkan banyak kriteria. Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in children, especially in developing countries. Choosing the appropriate treatment protocol is crucial to ensure the effectiveness of therapy and prevent complications. This study develops a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Weighted Product (WP) method to assist healthcare professionals in determining the appropriate pneumonia treatment protocol for children based on clinical conditions. The system takes into account various criteria, such as the severity of pneumonia, patient age, nutritional status, the presence of comorbidities, and the response to initial treatment. The test results show that this system can provide accurate and consistent recommendations in accordance with current clinical guidelines. Therefore, this DSS can be an effective tool to improve the quality of clinical decision-making. Abstract

Abstract: The development of digital technology brings both conveniences and challenges for children. Excessive gadget use can negatively impact children’s physical, psychological, and social well-being. The community service programme "Education on the Dangers of Gadgets and Kindness Festival" aims to provide education about the dangers of excessive gadget use while introducing various healthy and enjoyable alternative activities. The method applied was participatory and educational through counselling, educational games, traditional games, and a kindness festival. The results showed an increase in children’s awareness of the negative impacts of gadgets and their interest in engaging in beneficial non-gadget activities. This activity is expected to become a preventive effort to reduce children's dependence on gadgets in the digital era.            Keywords: children's activities; educational gadgets; kindness festival; educational games; community service.  Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa kemudahan sekaligus tantangan bagi anak-anak. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial anak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat “Edukasi Bahaya Gadget dan Festival Kebaikan” bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang bahaya penggunaan gadget berlebihan sekaligus mengenalkan berbagai aktivitas alternatif yang sehat dan menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dan edukatif melalui penyuluhan, permainan edukatif, permainan tradisional, dan festival kebaikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran anak-anak tentang dampak negatif gadget serta tumbuhnya ketertarikan terhadap aktivitas non-gadget yang bermanfaat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi preventif dalam menekan ketergantungan anak terhadap gadget di era digital. Kata kunci: aktivitas anak; edukasi gadget; festival kebaikan; permainan edukatif; pengabdian masyarakat

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) still rely on conventional marketing strategies that are less effective in enhancing competitiveness. According to data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (KemenKopUKM), only 21% of MSMEs have adopted digital approaches, with remaining challenges including limited infrastructure, lack of digital skills, and minimal policy support. Omni-Channel Marketing (OCM) based on digital innovation emerges as a strategic solution to expand market reach, improve business efficiency, and create sustainable competitive advantage. In line with the President's Asta Cita Point 3, "promoting entrepreneurship," a transformative strategy for OCM driven by digital innovation is needed to help MSMEs survive and grow in an increasingly competitive global market. This study employs a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 1,000 MSMEs in Medan City, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey. The study uses Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS software for data analysis. The findings indicate that the Omni-Channel Marketing (OCM) Transformation Strategy and Digital Innovation have a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Competitive Advantage. Moreover, the OCM Transformation Strategy influences Digital Innovation, and the OCM Transformation Strategy, mediated by Digital Innovation, also affects Sustainable Competitive Advantage.

Abstract

Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, akses internet menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk bagi anak-anak. Namun, penggunaan internet yang tidak terkelola dengan baik dapat menimbulkan berbagai risiko seperti cyberbullying, konten yang tidak pantas, dan pencurian data pribadi. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya edukasi internet sehat dan aman untuk anak-anak di tingkat sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada penerapan program edukasi di Sanggar Keadilan SMH-Indonesia. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesadaran anak-anak tentang risiko dan etika penggunaan internet, serta memberikan keterampilan praktis untuk melindungi diri mereka secara online.

Abstract

Abstract: The conventional hamlet head election system in Simpang Tiga Village, Langkat, is often inefficient, time-consuming, and prone to errors, leading to decreased public participation and trust. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aimed to design and build a website-based e-voting system featuring interactive multimedia to increase participation, transparency, and efficiency, while also empowering the local youth organization (Karang Taruna) as local digital agents. The method used was participatory action research, actively involving the partner through four stages: planning, acting, observing & evaluating, and reflecting. The implementation results showed significant success: voter participation drastically increased from 55% to 88%, public trust in the election process rose from 50% to 87%, and the election process duration was successfully reduced from 2-3 days to just 5 hours. Furthermore, the Karang Taruna partner demonstrated a technical mastery level of 87.5%.  Keyword: e-voting; community empowerment; action research; interactive multimedia; smart village. Abstrak: Sistem pemilihan kepala dusun konvensional di Desa Simpang Tiga, Langkat, cenderung tidak efisien, memakan waktu, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan yang menyebabkan partisipasi serta kepercayaan publik menurun. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem e-voting berbasis website dengan multimedia interaktif guna meningkatkan partisipasi, transparansi, dan efisiensi pemilihan, sekaligus memberdayakan Karang Taruna sebagai agen digital lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan partisipatif yang melibatkan mitra secara aktif dalam empat tahapan: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi & evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan keberhasilan signifikan: partisipasi pemilih meningkat drastis dari 55% menjadi 88%, kepercayaan publik terhadap proses pemilihan naik dari 50% menjadi 87%, dan durasi proses pemilihan berhasil dipersingkat dari 2-3 hari menjadi hanya 5 jam. Selain itu, mitra Karang Taruna menunjukkan tingkat penguasaan teknis sistem sebesar 87,5%.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a strategic necessity in facing the dynamics of the world of work and developments in the information technology industry. Students, as future professionals, are required to have relevant digital competencies, particularly in the use of cloud computing technology, which is increasingly being used in data management, application development, and network-based collaboration. This community service activity aims to strengthen the digital transformation competencies of Battuta University students through the implementation of structured and applicable cloud computing technology utilization workshops. The methods used in this activity include participant needs analysis, material preparation, interactive workshop implementation, practical guidance, and activity outcome evaluation. The workshop material covered an introduction to the basic concepts of cloud computing, an understanding of key cloud services, and practical use of cloud platforms for data storage, access management, and implementation of simple services. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, and observation of participant engagement during the activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' conceptual understanding and technical abilities in utilizing cloud technology. This activity contributed positively to improving students' readiness to meet competency demands in the digital era and strengthening their technological literacy and adaptation.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of educational services through the implementation of data-based learning systems and smart devices. One of the emerging approaches is the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in building smart classrooms, which are classrooms capable of integrating physical devices, sensors, and information systems to improve learning efficiency and learning environment management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of IoT in the formation of smart classrooms, covering aspects of system design, device integration, and evaluation of its effectiveness in supporting the teaching and learning process. The research method used is a quantitative and experimental approach, by designing an IoT-based smart classroom prototype that integrates temperature, humidity, light intensity, and presence detection sensors, as well as device control such as lights, air conditioning, and projectors through an automatic system and remote control. Data was collected through device performance measurements, network stability tests, and questionnaires distributed to users (teachers and students) to assess the system's ease of use and usefulness. The results showed that the implementation of IoT in classrooms can improve the efficiency of facility management through device automation, facilitate real-time monitoring of classroom conditions, and provide a more comfortable and responsive learning environment. In addition, the developed system demonstrated stable data communication performance with low latency within acceptable operational limits. These findings indicate that the application of IoT in smart classrooms has the potential to contribute significantly to improving the quality of learning and classroom management, particularly in supporting a technology-based education ecosystem. This study recommends further development in the areas of data security, device interoperability, and integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to strengthen the sustainable implementation of smart classrooms. Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong transformasi layanan pendidikan melalui penerapan sistem pembelajaran berbasis data dan perangkat cerdas. Salah satu pendekatan yang berkembang adalah pemanfaatan Internet of Things (IoT) dalam membangun smart classroom, yaitu ruang kelas yang mampu mengintegrasikan perangkat fisik, sensor, serta sistem informasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran dan pengelolaan lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi IoT dalam pembentukan smart classroom, mencakup aspek desain sistem, integrasi perangkat, serta evaluasi efektivitasnya dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan eksperimental, dengan merancang prototipe smart classroom berbasis IoT yang mengintegrasikan sensor suhu, kelembapan, intensitas cahaya, deteksi kehadiran, serta pengendalian perangkat seperti lampu, pendingin ruangan, dan proyektor melalui sistem otomatis maupun kendali jarak jauh. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran kinerja perangkat, uji stabilitas jaringan, serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada pengguna (guru dan siswa) untuk menilai tingkat kemudahan penggunaan dan kebermanfaatan sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi IoT pada ruang kelas mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan fasilitas melalui otomasi perangkat, mempermudah monitoring kondisi kelas secara real-time, serta memberikan dukungan lingkungan belajar yang lebih nyaman dan responsif. Selain itu, sistem yang dikembangkan menunjukkan performa komunikasi data yang stabil dengan tingkat keterlambatan (latency) yang rendah dalam batas operasional yang dapat diterima. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan IoT dalam smart classroom berpotensi memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan manajemen kelas, khususnya dalam mendukung ekosistem pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lanjutan pada aspek keamanan data, interoperabilitas perangkat, serta integrasi dengan Learning Management System (LMS) untuk memperkuat implementasi smart classroom secara berkelanjutan.
