Abstract

This research aims 1) To find out whether there is an increase in the ability to understand concepts after implementing the NeedHam learning model for fifth grade students at SDN 93 with fraction counting operation material; 2) To find out how students' activities are during learning using the NeedHam learning model for class V students at SDN 93 Singkawang with fraction counting operation material; 3) To find out how the NeedHam learning model is implemented for class V students at SDN 93 Singkawang regarding fraction counting operations. The type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods and the design in this research is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 93 Sigkawang. Samples were taken using saturated sampling. The data collection technique uses a test technique in the form of the ability to understand concepts and an observation technique using activity sheets and the implementation of the Needham model in the operation of calculating multiplication of fractions. The data analysis technique uses the N-Gain test, percentage of student learning activities and percentage of implementation. The results of the research show 1) There is an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts after implementing the Needham learning model to facilitate the ability to understand mathematical concepts in fraction multiplication calculation operation material in class V students at SDN 93 Singkawang; 2) Student learning activity is relatively high after implementing the Needham learning model in class V at SDN 93 Singkawang. This is proven by the results of the calculation of the average percentage obtained by the average value of the percentage of student learning activities for the first and second meetings, namely the calculation results obtained were 71.83%, which is in the high category; 3) the implementation of the Needham learning model was carried out well in the material on the operation of calculating multiplication of fractions in class V at SDN 93 Singkawang.

Abstract

Learning success is supported by various components, one of which is the use of media. Learning media as a link of interaction in the learning process so that learning is effective for students. One of them uses Pop-Up Book media. The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the difference in the learning outcomes of social studies students in grade V who use Pop Up Book media and classes that do not use Pop Up Book, 2) to measure the effect of the use of Pop Up Book Media on the learning outcomes of science science students in grade V of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. A type of quantitative research with experimental methods. Research Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research population of students of Grades VA and VB. The sampling technique uses Total Sampling. The Prerequisite Test uses the Saphiro Wilk Normality Test and the Homogeneity Test. Hypothesis testing, Independent Sample t-test and Effect Size Test. The results showed that 1) the average score of the posttest of the experimental class was 56.09 higher than the result of the control class which was 40.00. In addition, it can be seen that the output of the Independent sample t-test has an Equal Variances assumed significance value of 0.004 ˂0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the learning outcomes of classes using Pop Up Books and classes not using Pop Up Books. 2) Pop Up Book has a high effect on the learning outcomes of science science students in grade V with the result of the Effect size = 0.94 which is in the High criterion.

Abstract

This study aims to equip fifth grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang to: 1) recognize the comparison of student learning outcomes between classes that utilize the direct learning model and classes that utilize the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in science subjects; and 2) identify the extent of the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the science learning skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 26 Singkawang. The method used is a quantitative test with a semi-exploratory plan. The posttest-only control design served as an exploratory configuration. This study only included fifth grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang, and the sample was taken using probability sampling. 1) There is a comparison of student learning outcomes between the class that practices the Contextual Teaching and Learning( CTL) model and the control class that uses the direct learning model, as evidenced by the results with = -436,74 > = 1,67 86. 2) Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Model influences science learning outcomes on topic 9 subtheme 1 learning 1 class V SDN 26 Singkawang with an Effect Size () trial of 2, 87 located in the upper class . The Contextual Teaching and Learning model has a significant influence on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang, it can be concluded

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dan kurangnya penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah, untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPAS sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan media animasi interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V SD Negeri 81 Singkawang. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengruh media animasi interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 81 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen . Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji N-gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan rata-rata, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji t satu sampel untuk mengetahui rata-rata dan selanjutnya menggunakan uji pengaruh atau effect size untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh media yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPAS sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan media animasi interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V dengan perhitungan uji T dengan hasil yaitu nilai T hitung = 28,1402 ≥ nilai T tabel = 1,73961, maka terdapat perbedaan efektivitas penggunaan media animasi interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media animasi interaktif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 81 Singkawang dengan perhitungan uji effect size diperoleh hasil effect size sebesar 0,90 berada pada bahwa kriteria tinggi karena 0,90 berada pada 0,8 ≤ d ≤ 2.0, berdasarkan hal ini dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media animasi interaktif berpengaruh pada hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V.

Abstract

JUMI SUHERNI: Examining the Effects of Technology Use on the Social Development of Fourth Grade Students at SDN 6 Singkawang. ISBI Singkawang, 2024. Thesis. The purpose of this study is to: 1) Assess the effect that children in Class IV at SDN 6 Singkawang have when using gadgets; and 2) Describe the social development of the students in Class IV at SDN 6 Singkawang. A case study research strategy is employed in conjunction with qualitative research methodology. Seven fourth-grade pupils, seven parents, and the class instructor served as the research subjects. Interviews and documentation served as the research's primary data collection methods. The data analysis method makes use of Miles and Huberman's analysis method, which includes the following data collecting,1) Using electronics in class IV at SDN 6 Singkawang has a detrimental effect. The findings of the study indicate that most kids just use their devices for play, even though kids should use them as educational tools. Parental monitoring is needed in this situation. 2) A consequence of children's use of devices is the gradual decline in their social development. In order to facilitate socialization, children should play more with friends and engage in outdoor activities as part of their social development.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan pada usia dini harus diterapkan pada siswa sekolah dasar agar kepedulian lingkungan dapat membantu dalam membentuk kebiasaan positif seperti membuang sampah pada tempatnya, menghemat energi dan mencintai alam. Sehingga kebiasaan tersebut dapat terbawa hingga dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bagaimana pelaksanaan pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa melalui program Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. 2) Untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar melalui program Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya empat program Adiwiyata yang digunakan di SDN 12 Singkawang yaitu kebijakan sekolah yang berwawasan lingkungan, kurikulum sekolah yang berbasis lingkungan, kegiatan sekolah berbasis partisipasif, pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung sekolah yang ramah lingkungan. Terdapat juga faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter sehingga perlu adanya kolaborasi antara sekolah dan keluarga untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Describe the self-efficacy of grade V students at SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. 2) Describe the communication skills of grade V students at SD Negeri 12 singkawang. 3) Knowing whether there is a relationship between students' self-efficacy and the communication skills of grade V students at SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. The type of research used in this study is correlation descriptive research with a quantitative approach with a correlation research design. The population in this study is 59 students in grades VA and VB of SDN 12 Singkawang. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of an adaptation questionnaire from Kurniawati (2016) and Almuhaimin (2014). The data analysis technique is the overall average and the correlation of Pearson product moment. 1) The self-efficacy of students is in the low category with an overall average of 36.82%. 2) Students' communication skills are in the medium category with an overall average of 48.50%. 3) There is a relationship between self-efficacy and students' communication ability which is evidenced based on a significance value of 0.032 < 0.05 with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.809. And it shows a high level of relationship strength. Based on the calculation using the determinant coefficient formula, the relationship between self-efficacy and communication skills of students in elementary school, namely SDN 12 Singkawang, is 65.45%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) An overview of the tolerance value between grade IV students of SDN 52 Singkawang in the subject of Science; 2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors faced by teachers in instilling the tolerance value of grade IV (A) SDN 52 Singkawang students in subjects (IPAS). The type of research used is qualitative research. This research was conducted at SDN 51 Singkawang. The subject of this research is the main informant is a grade IV student of SDN 51 Singkawang and the second informant is a grade IV homeroom teacher of SDN 51 Singkawang. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that (1) The tolerance value of students at SDN 51 Singkawang has been well embedded. Where the homeroom teacher of class IV has carried out his duties as a homeroom teacher well. The homeroom teacher always tries to give the best for his students in the classroom and outside the classroom; (2) The supporting factor is that the homeroom teacher applies a nationalism attitude in the child and the inhibiting factor is that there are introverted students. This has also been overcome by the homeroom teacher by rolling the seats for introverted students every day.

Abstract

Instilling multicultural values is one of the methods used for cross-cultural learning by forming mindsets, attitudes, actions and habits so that Indonesian national awareness emerges. The research aims to find out: (1) the cultivation of multicultural values in developing social tolerance attitudes (2) factors that influence the cultivation of multicultural values in developing social tolerance attitudes. This research is a qualitative research, with observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the study show that (1) the cultivation of multicultural values carried out by schools to develop social tolerance attitudes by applying them through learning in the classroom and outside the classroom as well as supervision during the school environment. The inculcation of multicultural values in the classroom can be done through the subject of Pancasila Education, it can also be through the arrangement of student seating in the classroom. While outside the classroom, it can be by holding extracurriculars, especially for scouts. As for supervision in the school environment, security guards play a role in guarding students, as well as teachers while at school; (2) There are 2 factors that affect the cultivation of structural values in developing social tolerance attitudes, namely, supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include school climate, extracurriculars, the role of teachers, facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are ethnocentrism, stereotypes, bad prejudice, racism, discrimination and scapegoating.
