Abstract

The Medical Study Program causes many new situational demands and has the potential to create stress on students. The high number of lecture material difficulties, the number of assignments, the demands to understand the lecture material in a relatively short time and other problems that arise in the personal lives of students can trigger stress on medical students. Medical students who have a relatively high level of adversity quotient have a better tendency to deal with and deal with stressors in order to minimize the occurrence of psychological distress.This study aims to determine the relationship between adversity quotient with psychological distress in medical students at Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. Respondents in this study amounted to 90 students consisting of classes 2017, 2018, and 2019 with an age range of 18-21 years and are still actively attending lecture activities. The sampling technique used in this study was proportionate stratified random sampling. The instrument used in this study was a psychological distress scale (α = 0.934) and an adversity quotient scale (α = 0.951). The correlation test in this study used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test.Based on the Pearson Product Moment correlation test results obtained rxy = -0,525; p = 0,000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between adversity quotient with psychological distress in medical students of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. The higher adversity quotient, the lower psychological distress in medical students of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, and conversely.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa pada materi organ gerak hewan dan manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 3 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental design, dengan bentuk desain Nonequivalent Kontrol Group Design . Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 3 Singkawang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, Setelah pengambilan sampel yang terpilih menjadi kelas eksperimen kelas VA yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model discovery learning dan VB kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa antara kelas yang diberikan model discovery learning dengan kelas yang diberikan pembelajaran langsung pada materi organ gerak hewan dan manusia di kelas V SDN 3 Singkawang; (2) Terdapat seberapa besar pengaruh hasil belajar IPA siswa antara kelas yang diberikan model discovery learning dengan kelas yang di berikan model pembelajaran langsung pada materi organ gerak hewan dan manusia di kelas V SDN 3 Singkawang; (3) Respon siswa positif terhadap model discovery learning diperoleh dari hasil rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 84% kriteria sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using the card sort learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade civics on the subject of ethnic and religious diversity in my country. This research was conducted at the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency. The type of research used is a quantitative experiment with a quasi-experimental design method. The research design used is a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency, with the sampling technique being in the form of a saturated sample (total sampling). The study was conducted in two classes, namely the experimental class using the card sort learning model with 30 students and the control class using the direct learning model with 30 students. The data collection technique in this study used multiple-choice objective test techniques. The results of the research can be concluded that: (1) There are differences in the learning outcomes of Civics Education aspects of material knowledge of ethnic and religious diversity in my country on the card sort learning model compared to the direct learning model in class IV the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency, which was analyzed using the t-test with t_count> t_table is 6.139>2.00172; (2) There is an increase in PPKn learning outcomes in terms of material knowledge of ethnic and religious diversity in my country on the card sort learning model compared to the direct learning model in class IV the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency by 0.54 (medium criteria); (3) The card sort learning model has a high influence on student Civic Education learning outcomes on the subject of ethnic and religious diversity in my country, grade IV, which is 2.41 (high criteria).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of resilience in mediating the relationship between emotional regulation and psychological distress in students of the Medical Study Program, Sebelas Maret University. The population of this study were all active students of the Sebelas Maret University Medical Study Program. The sample used is 90 people, taken using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Collecting data using a scale consisting of a psychological distress scale (α = 0.934), an emotion regulation scale (α = 0.907), and a resilience scale (α = 0.901). The results of the mediation analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between emotional regulation and psychological distress through resilience in students of the Medical Study Program, Sebelas Maret University (p=0.898>0.05). The estimated direct effect is greater than the effect of mediating resilience (-0.148>-0.0005). This is possible because there are other factors such as intrapersonal factors which consist of personality traits related to individual emotional tendencies and situational factors originating from situations that are felt to be harmful or offensive to individuals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul IPS berbasis Pendidikan Multikultural dalam membangun kerukunan etnis. Penelitian ini Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4-D (Four-D Model) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (1974) yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), perencanaaan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Data tim ahli media diperoleh hasil 4.1 dengan kategori baik. Dengan komentar untuk menampilkan juga beragam aspek lain tentang masyarakat multikultural di kota Singkawang. Hasil ahli media diperoleh hasil baik dengan dilanjutkan pada uji coba kelompok kecil, sedang, dan besar pada kategori baik.  Kata-kata kunci: Pengembangan, modul IPS, pendidikan multikultural, kerukunan antar etnis

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Describe the level of academic burnout among students at SDN 57 Singkawang, 2) Describe the level of academic achievement among students at SDN 57 Singkawang, 3) Analyze the relationship between academic burnout and academic achievement among students at SDN 57 Singkawang. This study employs a quantitative correlational method with an associative research design. The population consists of 41 students from grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 57 Singkawang. The sampling technique used is total sampling, with the sample comprising 41 students from grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 57 Singkawang. Data collection techniques include a questionnaire burnout and document study. Data analysis techniques include overall averages and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Academic burnout among students is at a moderate level, with an overall average of 48.11, 2) Academic achievement in the cognitive domain is at a low level, with an overall average of 54.09, 3) There is a significant relationship between academic burnout and academic achievement at SDN 57 Singkawang, with a coefficient of determination of 25.60%. The significance value is 0.001, and the calculated Pearson Correlation (t-value) is -0.506.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with animation media assistance on student learning result in IPAS class IV SDN 11 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative with a Pre-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The sample used in this study were 22 students. The sampling technique in this study was non-probability with Purposive sampling type. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques (Test). Data analysis techniques using paired sample t-test. So that the Paired sample t-test indicated that = 3.64 is greater than = 2.08. So in conclusion, the research showed that there was an effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with animation media on the learning results of fourth grade students in the IPAS subject of SDN 11 Singkawang.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) determine the social skills of class V students at SD Negeri 58 Singkawang: 2) determine the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for class V students at SD Negeri 58 Singkawang; 3) determine whether or not there is a relationship between social skills and the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for fifth grade students at Singkawang State Elementary School. The type of research used is quantitative correlation research. The population of this study was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 58 Singkawang. Sampling in this study was carried out using saturated sampling, this sample consisted of 33 students consisting of one class V. The prerequisite test carried out was a normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test formula. Data were analyzed univariately with a significance level of 5% (0.05). Hypothesis testing uses the Pearson product moment correlation technique. Research results 1) The overall level of social skills of class V students at SD Negeri 58 Singkawang is classified as high based on the overall average score of the students' social skills questionnaire of 113.8; 2) The level of learning outcomes for class V students at SD Negeri 58 Singkawang as a whole falls within the criteria based on the overall average score of 78.7; 3) There is a significant relationship between social skills and the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 58 Singkawang, namely with a correlation value of 0.199 with very low criteria with a positive relationship direction.

Abstract

JUMI SUHERNI: Examining the Effects of Technology Use on the Social Development of Fourth Grade Students at SDN 6 Singkawang. ISBI Singkawang, 2024. Thesis. The purpose of this study is to: 1) Assess the effect that children in Class IV at SDN 6 Singkawang have when using gadgets; and 2) Describe the social development of the students in Class IV at SDN 6 Singkawang. A case study research strategy is employed in conjunction with qualitative research methodology. Seven fourth-grade pupils, seven parents, and the class instructor served as the research subjects. Interviews and documentation served as the research's primary data collection methods. The data analysis method makes use of Miles and Huberman's analysis method, which includes the following data collecting,1) Using electronics in class IV at SDN 6 Singkawang has a detrimental effect. The findings of the study indicate that most kids just use their devices for play, even though kids should use them as educational tools. Parental monitoring is needed in this situation. 2) A consequence of children's use of devices is the gradual decline in their social development. In order to facilitate socialization, children should play more with friends and engage in outdoor activities as part of their social development.
