Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kemandirian belajar siswa SD di masa pandemi Covid-19. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode ini bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena, peristiwa bahkan kejadian alamiah pada kondisi objek secara deskriptif terkait kemandirian belajar siswa di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Singkawang dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 51 orang dari berbagai sekolah melalui teknik insidental sampling. Selama di lapangan, peneliti melakukan wawancara bebas terpimpin dengan subyek penelitian. Untuk menguji kevalidan data hasil penelitian, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi dimana kemudian hasil data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles and Huberman (reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 38 orang siswa SD di Kota Singkawang di masa pandemi Covid-19 memiliki kemandirian belajar yang baik sedangkan 13 orang lainnya kurang memiliki kemandirian belajar. Walaupun dari keseluruhan siswa sudah bisa secara mandiri mengatur proses pembelajarannya dengan sangat baik namun ada beberapa siswa yang masih belum mampu mengatur waktunya dengan baik dikarenakan rasa bosan, malas dan kerinduan untuk bersekolah secara langsung di kelas. Kata-kata kunci: Kemandirian Belajar, Pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Karakter cerdas pada peserta didik dapat dikembangkan melalui bimbingan dan konseling program perkembangan. Melalui bantuan seorang konselor profesional,peserta didik akan dapat mencapai tugas perkembangan.Serta karakter yang cerdas akan tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal. Karena layanan bimbingan dan konseling tidak hanya untuk pelajar yang memiliki masalah, tetapi pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling ditujukan untuk semua siswa sehingga mereka dapat mencapai tugas perkembangan dan menjadi orang yang mandiri dan mantap.Pembentukan karakter cerdas dengan bimbingan dan konseling dilakukan atas pengembangan layanan dasar, layanan peminatan dan perencanaan individual ,layanan responsif, dan dukungan sistem.Sehingga peserta didik sebagai aset bangsa ini akan mampu menghadapi dengan negara-negara ASEAN dalam menghadapi MEA.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease-2019 is a virus outbreak that is spreading across the country. It is caused by the coronavirus, which has been known to harm the respiratory system. Indonesia then proclaimed COVID-19 a global pandemic and advised citizens to perform physical distancing. COVID-19 affects not only health but also social, economic, and labor aspects. This study aims to examine the critical elasticities affecting work productivity in the Covid-19 pandemic period, specifically: Flexible Working Space, Transformational Leadership, and Organizational Culture. Qualitative methodologies and a literature review were employed in the research. The data sources include journals that are indexed by Google Scholar and book literature. The researchers confirmed that Flexible Working Space, Transformational Leadership, and Organizational Culture affect Work Productivity.

Abstract

Employees’ performance is an action taken by employees in carrying out the work given by the company. Many things influence employee performance including selection and training. This study aims at examining and analyzing the influence of selection and motivation on employees’ performance at PT. Motorindo Perkasa Raya Medan both partially and simultaneously.The theory used is a theory regarding employees’ selection, motivation and performance.The method used is a quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive research and it is descriptive explanatory. The method of data collection was done by doing interviews and questionnaires. The method of data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The population is all employees; the total number is 35 people. Sampling was taken by a saturated sampling technique. The results of the study proves that partially selection (2,960) and motivation (6,911) have a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance with a significant level of <0.05. Simultaneously selection and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with the results of Fcount (48,351) > Ftable (3.29) a significant level <0.05. The conclusion of the result of this study is that selection and motivation influence employee performance at PT Motorindo Perkasa Raya both partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the discovery of problems at SDN 82 Singkawang, namely there are still students who violate the rules. This research aims to: 1) Knowing the types of violations of the rules of the VA class students at SDN 82 Singkawang; 2) Describe the factors that cause violations of the VA class discipline at SDN 82 Singkawang; 3) Describe the role of teachers in overcoming violations of the VA class discipline at SDN 82 Singkawang. This research design is qualitative research with a type of case study research. The informants in this study were the fifth grade teacher, 5 fifth grade students, and the principal of SDN 82 Singkawang in the 2023/2024 school year. This research was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion.. The results showed 1) The types of rule violations that occurred were students not doing homework, being late, not wearing complete uniforms, and speaking harshly. 2) Factors that cause violation of the rules are lack of desire to comply with the rules, friends and teachers. 3) The role of the teacher as a mentor has been carried out well but the teacher is still lacking in inviting students to discipline in worship. The role of the teacher as a teacher educator is still less assertive in giving punishment. The role of the teacher as a motivator is still lacking in providing rewards. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan ditemukannya permasalahan di SDN 82 Singkawang yaitu masih terdapat siswa yang melanggar tata tertib. Penelitian ini bertujuan : 1) Mengetahui jenis pelanggaran tata tertib siswa kelas VA di SDN 82 Singkawang; 2) Mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan pelanggaran tata tertib siswa kelas VA di SDN 82 Singkawang; 3) Mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam mengatasi pelanggaran tata tertib siswa kelas VA di SDN 82 Singkawang. Desain penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah wali kelas V, 5 orang siswa kelas V, dan kepala sekolah SDN 82 Singkawang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini didapat melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Jenis pelanggaran tata tertib yang terjadi adalah siswa tidak mengerjakan PR, terlambat, tidak menggunakan seragam lengkap, serta berbicara kasar. 2) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan pelanggaran tata tertib yaitu kurangnya keinginan untuk mematuhi tata tertib, teman dan guru. 3) Peran guru sebagai pembimbing sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik namun guru masih kurang dalam mengajak peserta didik disiplin dalam beribadah. Peran guru sebagai pendidik guru masih kurang tegas dalam memberikan hukuman. Peran guru sebagai motivator masih kurang dalam memberikan reward.

Abstract

Learning success is supported by various components, one of which is the use of media. Learning media as a link of interaction in the learning process so that learning is effective for students. One of them uses Pop-Up Book media. The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the difference in the learning outcomes of social studies students in grade V who use Pop Up Book media and classes that do not use Pop Up Book, 2) to measure the effect of the use of Pop Up Book Media on the learning outcomes of science science students in grade V of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. A type of quantitative research with experimental methods. Research Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research population of students of Grades VA and VB. The sampling technique uses Total Sampling. The Prerequisite Test uses the Saphiro Wilk Normality Test and the Homogeneity Test. Hypothesis testing, Independent Sample t-test and Effect Size Test. The results showed that 1) the average score of the posttest of the experimental class was 56.09 higher than the result of the control class which was 40.00. In addition, it can be seen that the output of the Independent sample t-test has an Equal Variances assumed significance value of 0.004 ˂0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the learning outcomes of classes using Pop Up Books and classes not using Pop Up Books. 2) Pop Up Book has a high effect on the learning outcomes of science science students in grade V with the result of the Effect size = 0.94 which is in the High criterion.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the differences in learning outcomes for class IV students after applying Quizzizz media to Indonesian language learning; (2) knowing students' responses to quizizz media in learning Indonesian for class IV students. This research is a quantitative experimental research. This research method is a True Experiment. The population of this study was all class IV students, totaling 50 students. Samples were taken using total sampling technique. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques. The data analysis technique used was the two-sample t test and the percentage of student responses. The results of the research show that: (1) there are differences in learning outcomes for class IV students after applying Quizzizz learning media to Indonesian language learning with tcount = 6.383 > ttable = 2.010; (2) Positive student response to quizizz media in learning Indonesian for class IV students with a percentage of 84% in the very high category. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence on quizizz media on Indonesian language learning for class IV students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the intensity of playing online games among students at SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang, (2) the level of emotional intelligence among students at SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang, and (3) the relationship between the intensity of playing online games and emotional intelligence among students at SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The population of this study consisted of students from classes VII D, VIII D, and IX D at SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang, totaling 105 students, with a research sample of 105 students selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis to determine the intensity of playing online games and emotional intelligence among students was carried out using descriptive statistical analysis. Meanwhile, to analyze the relationship between the intensity of playing online games and emotional intelligence, the Pearson product-moment correlation technique was used. The results of the data analysis show that: (1) the level of online game playing intensity among students at SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang falls into the low category (36.87), (2) the level of emotional intelligence among students is in the high category (112.8), and (3) there is no significant relationship between the intensity of playing online games and emotional intelligence among students, with an R value of -0.124. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the intensity of playing online games and the emotional intelligence of students at SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang. In conclusion, the higher the intensity of playing online games, the lower the emotional intelligence of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between reward and punishment on students' learning motivation at SMP Negeri X. The background of the study is based on the importance of motivation in the learning process, because motivation plays a major role in influencing students' enthusiasm and participation. Rewards and punishments are seen as educational instruments believed to help improve or decrease certain behaviors in an academic context. Motivation in learning is a key factor that influences students' performance and engagement in the classroom. The research method used is a quantitative correlational with an asymmetrical associative relationship design. The study population included 123 ninth-grade students, and through a simple random sampling technique using the Slovin formula, a sample of 94 students was obtained. The research instrument was a Likert-scale-based questionnaire, consisting of 30 statements for reward and punishment variables with a reliability of 0.952, and 28 statements for learning motivation variables with a reliability of 0.974. Data analysis was carried out through simple regression, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that the provision of rewards and punishments was in the "sufficient" category with an average score of 96.20 (range 91–100). Similarly, student learning motivation was classified as "sufficient" with an average score of 88.89 (range 85–92). The hypothesis test yielded an F<sub>calculated</sub> of 0.058, which is smaller than the F<sub>table</sub> of 3.94 at the 5% significance level. This indicates no significant relationship between the two variables. The R² value of 0.6% indicates that the contribution of rewards and punishments to learning motivation is very low. These findings suggest that teachers should explore alternative strategies to foster students' intrinsic motivation. Thus, this study emphasizes the need for motivational strategies other than rewards and punishments to increase student learning participation.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan pada usia dini harus diterapkan pada siswa sekolah dasar agar kepedulian lingkungan dapat membantu dalam membentuk kebiasaan positif seperti membuang sampah pada tempatnya, menghemat energi dan mencintai alam. Sehingga kebiasaan tersebut dapat terbawa hingga dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bagaimana pelaksanaan pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa melalui program Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. 2) Untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar melalui program Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya empat program Adiwiyata yang digunakan di SDN 12 Singkawang yaitu kebijakan sekolah yang berwawasan lingkungan, kurikulum sekolah yang berbasis lingkungan, kegiatan sekolah berbasis partisipasif, pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung sekolah yang ramah lingkungan. Terdapat juga faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter sehingga perlu adanya kolaborasi antara sekolah dan keluarga untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa.
