Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of political literacy on student participation in democratic activities on campus and its synchronization with Political Science studies and the Citizenship Education Programme.The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of students involved in student organizations and campus democratic activities. The research results indicate that political literacy has a significant influence on the level of student participation in activities campus democracy such as student organisation elections, public discussions, forums for students, and advocacy activities. Students with a good political understanding tend to be more active, critical, and responsible in exercising their rights and democratic obligations. Synchronisation between Political Science studies and Education Citizenship visible on the formation of democratic character, awareness constitutionalism, as well as strengthening participatory values in the academic environment. This research concludes that political literacy is one of the important factors in building a healthy democratic culture in higher education.

Abstract

Understanding the dangers of gadget use is an understanding that discusses what is meant by gadgets, as well as the impacts caused by gadgets if they are played with for too long. However, in reality, what often happens is that there are still parents who do not understand the dangers of gadget use in early childhood. So it is necessary to make efforts to improve parents' understanding of the dangers of gadget use in early childhood by providing information services through audio-visual media. The purpose of this study was to determine whether information services using audio-visual media have an effect on improving understanding of the dangers of gadget use in parents of students. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research type. The sample or research informants were 5 parents of students at Hidayatut Tholibin Kindergarten, Bojonegoro. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of interviews before and after being given information services, it was concluded that all informants understood the dangers of gadget use after providing information services through audio-visual media and applying them to students. So it can be concluded that providing information services through audio-visual media has an effect on increasing the understanding of the dangers of gadget use among parents of students at Hidayatut Tholibin Kindergarten, Bojonegoro

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in forming Pancasila student profiles through the integration of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects at Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Batu Islamic Middle School. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methodology. Data collection tools consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The research findings show that the aim is to increase the components of the Pancasila student profile through the formulation of Civics learning modules. The teacher's role in implementing Citizenship Education through strengthening the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile includes: acting as a role model, inspirer, learning planner, elaboration of Pancasila values, model project facilitator, motivator, and assessor. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile through PPKn learning is facilitated by several key factors, including the dedication of teaching staff, the selection of students who are committed to the program, the provision of adequate learning facilities, the development of effective learning methods, and the active involvement of the school committee and the wider community.

Abstract

The implementation of character education in SMAN 1 Arjasa Kangean Islands faces quite dominant challenges, including geographical location, low level of parental education, and lack of parental support and understanding, thus also interfering with the effectiveness of character education efforts. This research is a field research, which is a type of research where researchers collect data and information directly in the field to explore the implementation of character education in students at SMAN 1 Arjasa. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of character education at SMAN 1 Arjasa Kangean Islands is highly dependent on the role of Civic Education (PPKn) teachers. Teachers act as mentors, advisors, role models, and motivators for students by using various learning media to present the material in an interesting and effective manner. Teachers provide individual and group guidance, and provide examples of exemplary daily life, such as congregational prayer, handshakes, and environmental cleanliness, as a direct inspiration for students
