Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu Tenaga Pendidik, faktor yang mempengaruhi dan upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan naturalistik kualitatif dengan jenis deksriptif yang bertempat di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Latambaga, Kabupaten Kolaka, Sulawesi Tenggara dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1). Kinerja Kepala Sekolah secara umum sudah menunjukan kinerja yang baik dan optimal serta memenuhi standar dan indikator yang telah ditetapkan. Hal ini dijelaskan dalam “rencana kerja sekolah (RKS)” sebagai perencanaan Kepala Sekolah dalam menjalankan program kerja dan meningkatkan tenaga pendidik di sekolah. 2) Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu tenaga pendidik diantaranya kondisi geografis sekolah, tenaga pendidik yang mengajar tidak sesuai latar belakang pendidikan, dan lingkungan yang kondusif. 3) Kepala Sekolah telah melakukan upaya-upaya yang dapat meningkatkan mutu Tenaga Pendidik melalui kegiatan-kegiatan pemberdayaan dan program sekolah seperti supervisi, musyawarah guru matapelajaran (MGMP), evaluasi diri (EDS), In House Training (IHT) dan kegiatan kewirausahaan yang diperuntukan bagi tenaga pendidik dan siswa. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah melakukan tugasnya secara optimal dalam meningkatkan mutu tenaga pendidik melalui kegiatan-kegiatan penunjang peningkatan mutu tenaga pendidik dan berdasarkan pada standar nasional pendidikan.

Abstract

A literary work cannot be separated from the psychology of the character and the author. It has become the basis of a literary work. This study discusses the psychological value pioneered by Abraham Maslow, who tends to analyze the value of Literary Psychology in terms of a person's needs. This research aims to describe and explain the psychology of literature in verse “Bukit Doa” written by Irna Novia Damayanti. The method used in this research is qualitative research by describing and explaining words related to the character's psychology. The results obtained from this study are, the psychological or psychological value received by the character is psychology caused by the emergence of several needs of a person, this includes the need for a sense of security and peace, as well as love and love, which support religious needs (Spiritual).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine teacher strategies in implementing distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach to the type of case study research and used a phenomenological paradigm. Because seeing the current pandemic conditions that are still ongoing. So, the data collection technique in this study was carried out online through a questionnaire distributed via google form, by asking several questions related to the problem to be studied. Then, for informants in this study were some school teachers from several regions in Java and Lampung and from three levels of education units, namely SD, SMP, and SMA. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis which aims as a tool to map data and reveal the meaning behind the data that has been obtained. The results showed that the distance learning strategies used by teachers during the pandemic were predominantly effective and smooth. However, there were several obstacles that were found during the learning process, such as poor network connections and a lack of student motivation to take part in distance learning. Therefore, there is a need for effective self-development of teachers on an ongoing basis to improve competence. The role of government through policies made is also very important as a forum for increasing human resources Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif  deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus dan menggunakan paradigma fenomenologi. Karena melihat kondisi pandemi yang sekarang ini masih berlangsung. Maka, teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara online melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui google form, dengan mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan terkait dengan masalah yang akan diteliti. Kemudian, untuk informan dalam penelitian ini adalah beberapa guru sekolah dari beberapa daerah yang berada di Pulau Jawa dan Lampung dan dari tiga tingkat satuan pendidikan yaitu SD, SMP, dan SMA. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif yang bertujuan sebagai alat untuk memetakan data dan mengungkap makna dibalik data yang telah didapatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi pembelajaran jarak jauh yang digunakan oleh guru selama masa pandemi secara dominan berjalan efektif dan lancar. Tetapi, ada beberapa kendala yang ditemukan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung seperti koneksi jaringan yang kurang baik serta kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengembangan diri secara efektif pada guru secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi. Peran pemerintah melalui kebijakan yang dibuat juga sangat penting sebagai wadah dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the socio-educational interactions between teachers and students. This article also looks at a literacy activity utilized by the teachers and students and their interaction patterns. Research methodology: This research applied a naturalistic approach and descriptive qualitative research design. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data then were analyzed descriptively using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, namely data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. Results: The research results show that to improve student literacy, there were two patterns of interaction: first, a one-way interaction pattern centered on the teacher as a facilitator, corrector, evaluator in literacy activities: second, a multi-directional interaction pattern occurred. Literacy activities aim to train the learners’ ability in reading, understanding and commenting. During the core activities, several aspects of the interactions occur between teachers and students, such as conveying information, explaining, motivating, and proposing to students. At the closing stage of literacy, several aspects of the interaction between teachers and students occur. Making summaries and reading about the literacy activities have provided directions for further literacy activities and conducting evaluations that have been carried out. Limitations: There are limitations to the researcher, so this research is limited to one school only with the object of research on all students and teachers assigned to literacy activities at SMA Negeri 1 Latambaga. Contribution: The study is expected to assist the schools in monitoring the literacy activities and developing student literacy, whereas, for students, this study is expected to improve their literacy and broaden their insights about technological and scientific developments.

Abstract

Peradaban yang semakin maju juga bisa menjadi salah satu faktor runtuhnya moral dan akhlak. Melihat realitas saat ini, masih banyak generasi bangsa yang belum memiliki kepribadian yang baik, sudah banyak terjadi kasus dalam bidang pendidikan, ini mencerminkan bahwa kualitas kepribadian anak didik masih kurang baik. Konsep Iqbal dalam membentuk kepribadian seorang muslim sejatinya adalah untuk menambah kedekatan manusia dengan Tuhan-Nya dengan menjelmakan sifat-sifat tuhan kedalam dirinya atau dalam kepribadiannya sehingga dengan jalan seperti ini akan mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan seperti hadist yang selalu dikutip Iqbal dalam pembahasannya mengenai konsep khudi/pribadi yaitu “Takhallaqu bi Akhlaqillah” (tumbuhkan lah dalam dirimu sifat sifat Allah). Jadi, dalam mencari Tuhan bukan dengan cara merendahkan diri dan meminta-minta tetapi dengan himmah dalam menjelmakan sifat sifat uluhiyah dalam diri dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari workshop ini adalah menyelaraskan kurikulum yang dipakai di SMK, khususnya SMK Negeri 1 Koto Baru. Penyelarasan ini berkaitan dengan kurikulum merdeka yang di pakai di SMK dan kebutuhan di dunia kerja dan industri, selain itu juga diberikan pembekalan dan kerja sama antara SMK Negeri 1 Koto Baru dengan berbagai perusahaan. Hasil dari kegiatan workshop ini adalah adanya kurikulum yang siap dipakai di SMA 1 Koto Baru untuk 1 semester kedepan sesuai dengan tren industri kedepan. Metode yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah adalah memberikan penjelasan tentang kurikulum, pentingnya menyelaraskan kurikulum, prosedur magang di perusahaan, berikutnya dilakukan kegiatan workshop dan diskusi untuk penentuan kurikulum yang akan di pakai di SMK 1 Koto Baru, serta pendampingan agar siswa dapat magang sekaligus alumni bisa terserap di dunia industri, khususnya perusahaan-perusahaan yang bekerjasama dengan SMK 1 Koto baru. Kegiatan PKM ini berhasil dengan bukti lahirnya penetapan kurikulum dan kerjasama antara SMA 1 Koto Baru dengan beberapa perusahaan yang nantinya di harapkan dapat menyalurkan siswa untuk praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) maupun penyerapan alumni untuk berkerja di perusahaan tersebut.

Abstract

Interactive Biology learning training for rural school teachers aims to improve the quality of teaching by utilizing learning methods that actively involve students, despite the limited resources available. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological design to explore the teacher's experience and perception of the training. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The results showed that this training has a positive impact on improving the knowledge and skills of teachers in implementing interactive Biology learning. Teachers feel more confident in using simple teaching aids and environment-based experiments as a learning medium. However, the main challenge faced is the limited facilities and teaching aids in rural schools. In addition, despite the increase in student activity, teachers also face difficulties in managing the diversity of student interests and abilities. Overall, the training improves the quality of teaching in rural schools and provides practical guidance to address existing challenges. This research suggests that continuous training should be conducted and focus on practical solutions related to limited resources

Abstract

Biodiversity is an integral part of the balance of ecosystems that support the survival of various living beings on Earth, including humans. However, threats to biodiversity due to environmental degradation, climate change, and overexploitation have led to significant declines in many species and ecosystems. One effective strategy to address this problem is community empowerment through biology education. Through Biology Education, people can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the importance of biodiversity conservation as well as the ways in which they can maintain the balance of ecosystems. This study aims to examine how biology education can empower the community in an effort to maintain biodiversity and ecosystem balance. Through a qualitative approach, this study explores the influence of biology education programs on increasing environmental awareness, behavior change, and community involvement in conservation activities. The results showed that biology education can improve people's understanding of the relationship between human activities and their impact on ecosystems. This education Program also encourages communities to engage in various conservation activities, such as afforestation, waste management, and protection of local species.

Abstract

The Supreme Court (MA) ordered the General Election Commission (KPU) to revoke Article 11 paragraph (6) and Article 18 paragraph (2) of KPU regulation (PKPU) Number 10 of 2023. Some feel the order violates human rights because it deprives a person of the political right to be elected to public office. The Supreme Court in decision Number 28 P/HUM / 2023 has granted the application for Material Test against Article 11 paragraph (6) and Article 18 paragraph (2) of PKPU Number 10 of 2023. The PKPU is considered contrary to Article 240 paragraph (1) letter g and Article 182 letter g of the election law because it provides a red carpet for former corruption convicts to become election participants. revocation of political rights is done because the convict has abused his authority as a public official, this punishment is expected to protect the public from similar actions and cause a deterrent effect for the convict. Whereas, for Contra-groups, denial of revocation of Rights is chosen or chosen because it violates human rights. This research includes library research, which is a research conducted by reading books, literature and examining various theories and opinions that have a relationship with the problem under study. In this case the author reads and takes theories from books related to issues of Political Rights and establishing laws and concludes the results of research from various kinds of such books. Judging from its nature, this study includes normative juridical Law Research. The form of normative juridical research is legal research conducted by researching library materials. This research is conducted or submitted only on Written regulations or other legal materials.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in forming Pancasila student profiles through the integration of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects at Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Batu Islamic Middle School. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methodology. Data collection tools consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The research findings show that the aim is to increase the components of the Pancasila student profile through the formulation of Civics learning modules. The teacher's role in implementing Citizenship Education through strengthening the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile includes: acting as a role model, inspirer, learning planner, elaboration of Pancasila values, model project facilitator, motivator, and assessor. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile through PPKn learning is facilitated by several key factors, including the dedication of teaching staff, the selection of students who are committed to the program, the provision of adequate learning facilities, the development of effective learning methods, and the active involvement of the school committee and the wider community.
