Abstract

The problem of low financial literacy in rural communities often results in unbalanced consumption patterns, lack of financial planning, and low awareness of saving and investing based on sharia principles. The Field Work Lecture (KKL) activity in the form of Community Service (PKM) in Pangirkiran Dolok Village was focused on the socialization of Islamic household financial management as an effort to improve community financial literacy. The purpose of this activity was to provide understanding of sharia-compliant financial management concepts, enhance community skills in financial planning and household bookkeeping, and encourage the growth of a saving culture and halal investment. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, group discussions, and practical simulations of family financial recording. The results showed a significant increase in community understanding and skills in financial management, as reflected in more directed and Islamic-oriented financial behavior. The impact was the emergence of collective community awareness of the importance of sharia financial management as the foundation for family welfare and village economic development.

Abstract

Early marriage remains a complex issue in many rural areas of Indonesia, including Pangirkiran Dolok Village. This practice often hinders access to education, disrupts reproductive health, and limits the future potential of adolescents, especially women. To answer this challenge, a Field Lecture Work (KKL) program was implemented with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which places the community as an active subject in the process of social change. The focus of this activity is to build collective awareness and strengthen the role of citizens in preventing early marriage through participatory education and community empowerment. The methods used included participatory observation, interviews with community leaders, focus group discussions (FGDs), and training and educational campaigns involving adolescents, parents and local stakeholders. The results showed an increase in community understanding of the impact of early marriage and the growth of local initiatives, such as the formation of a youth education group and a community dialog forum. The impact of this activity is not only seen in the change in attitudes towards the practice of early marriage, but also in the emergence of a collaborative spirit in creating a more supportive environment for adolescent development. The PAR approach has proven effective in facilitating social change based on awareness, local values and active community participation.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial factor in the success of science learning at the elementary school level, which requires active engagement, curiosity, and persistence from students. However, science learning in elementary schools often faces the problem of low student motivation due to conventional, teacher-centered instructional approaches with limited interaction. This study aimed to improve the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 0607 Pagaran Batu through the implementation of the Dragon Ball learning model. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were all fourth-grade students. Data on students’ learning motivation were collected through observation and questionnaires based on motivation indicators. The findings indicate a substantial improvement in students’ learning motivation across cycles. In the pre-cycle stage, students’ motivation was predominantly categorized as low, with an average score of 48%. Following the implementation of the Dragon Ball model, motivation increased to 72% in Cycle I and further improved to 82% in Cycle II, exceeding the minimum success criterion of 75%. The results suggest that the Dragon Ball learning model effectively promotes active engagement, cooperative interaction, and intrinsic motivation in elementary science learning. This study contributes to cooperative learning literature by demonstrating the pedagogical value of game-based collaborative strategies in fostering student motivation at the primary education level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the effect of creativity in providing reinforcement to the learning motivation of class III students of MIN Sibuhuan. 2) How much influence does creativity provide reinforcement to the learning motivation of class III students of MIN Sibuhuan. This study is a quantitative study, the population in the study were all class III students of MIN Sibuhuan, while the sample in the study was taken from the entire population, with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and prerequisite tests. The results obtained were that the normality test showed that all data obtained by the researcher had normal data because lhitung <ltabel with a value of 0.999 <0.1772 on the variable providing reinforcement and on the variable learning motivation 0.0010 <0.1772. And the homogeneity test showed that the value of fhitung <ftabel with a value of 0.672 <4.23. providing reinforcement has a significant effect on the learning motivation of MIN Sibuhuan students. Based on the results of the t-test, it shows that the t-count value > t-table (3.624 > 1.705), and the significant value is 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the Ha hypothesis is accepted and H0 is rejected. then the determination test shows a value of 0.549 or 54.9%. meaning that the skill of providing reinforcement can contribute to increasing student learning motivation by 54.9% while 45.1% is explained by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning Mathematics, especially the material of arithmetic operations of integers, through the application of the Index Card Match learning strategy. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 0209 Bahal Batu with subjects of grade VI students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, learning interest questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' interest in learning after the implementation of the Index Card Match strategy. This was seen from the average increase in students' interest in learning from 62.4 in cycle I to 83.1 in cycle II so that students had achieved or exceeded the Minimum Competency (KKM). Based on the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the Index Card Match strategy proved effective in creating a pleasant learning atmosphere and increasing students' interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Script terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi perubahan wujud benda di kelas V SD No. 0127 Sibuhuan Julu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, dengan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes berupa pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Cooperative Script berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Model ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan, interaksi, serta pemahaman siswa, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan optimal.
