Abstract

Stunting has become a public issue because it concerns the lives of many people, especially toddlers as Indonesia's golden generation in addition to its urgent nature to be addressed immediately. Through a public policy, the government is trying to deal with this issue by involving several actors. This research discusses the role of BPJS Kesehatan in dealing with stunting through a policy analysis of Presidential Regulation number 72 of 2021 concerning the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyse the role of BPJS Kesehatan in accelerating stunting reduction through policy analysis. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive-analytical data analysis method. The data is presented descriptively and then analysed using policy analysis studies to obtain valid data on the role of BPJS Kesehatan in dealing with stunting. Data were obtained through literature review by reviewing official documents in the form of policy papers; official websites; and scientific articles. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction; data presentation; and conclusion drawing. The results showed that BPJS Kesehatan has an important role in reducing the number of stunting in Indonesia. The results showed that BPJS Kesehatan has an important role in reducing the number of stunting in Indonesia. In addition, BPJS Kesehatan is a Stakeholder actor in the Perpres 72/2021 policy that is tasked with implementing programmes in the second and fourth pillars, namely handling stunting and providing good food. The articles in PR 72/2021 are also synchronised with the role of BPJS Kesehatan in the field. This research recommends that the government should include more Stakeholder actors in helping to resolve public issues. All stakeholders have a significant role in overcoming current public issues, especially by involving them in the implementation of public policy programmes. Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase people's understanding of and access to their political rights. The main focus of this program is to provide assistance and education to the community about the importance of political participation and ways to access political rights effectively. Through a series of activities such as education, group discussions, and individual consultation sessions, this program is expected to empower the community to be more actively involved in the democratic process. The results of this activity show a significant increase in community knowledge and skills in understanding community political rights, as well as increased participation in local political activities. The program was also successful in creating a support network among participants that can continue to serve as a source of information and assistance in the future. Thus, this service contributes to strengthening the community's capacity to actively participate in inclusive and sustainable political development.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase students' awareness and understanding of the importance of clean and healthy life education (PHBS) at Inpres Kuprik Elementary School. PHBS is a concept that involves various healthy habits, such as washing hands, maintaining personal hygiene, and maintaining a clean environment. This service aims to provide socialization to students about PHBS and teach them practical steps to apply it in everyday life. The method used in this service is the delivery of PHBS material through lectures, group discussions, and direct practical activities. Students will be given an understanding of the importance of PHBS and the positive impact they will get if they adopt clean and healthy living habits. The expected results of this service are an increase in students' knowledge about PHBS and a change in behavior that leads to clean and healthy living habits. With this socialization, it is hoped that students will become agents of change who can influence their peers and the community around them to adopt clean and healthy living habits. In addition, this dedication is also expected to increase the participation of educators and parents of students in building a PHBS culture in schools and the surrounding environment. In conclusion, after this service has been done, students of Kuprik Elementary School are having understanding dan implementing the importance of PHBS in daily life.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the quality of the rehabilitation section services at the Palu City National Narcotics Agency Office. The type of research used is qualitative research. The determination of informants was carried out purposively. The types of data used are primary and interactive data from Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The theory used is the theory of Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry in Pasolong (2007). The results of the research show that the quality of services of the Rehabilitation Section at the Palu City National Narcotics Agency Office cannot be said to be effective so that the output produced is not optimal and in accordance with the quality of public services. Despite the many obstacles and problems that occur when providing services to the community regarding the provision of services in the rehabilitation section at the Palu City National Narcotics Agency Office. There is a need to increase the provision of services to the community, especially in terms of rehabilitation services to people who abuse drugs, both in terms of mentoring and providing moral support to victims of drug abuse. Thus, the researchers draw the conclusion that the quality of the rehabilitation section services at the Palu City National Narcotics Agency Office is not optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse political ethics in the utilisation of public space within the framework of a democratic state in Indonesia. The urgency of political ethics in the utilisation of public space is that political ethics plays an important role in ensuring that the utilisation of public space does not violate human rights and principles of social justice. The public space in this research is the mass media. This research is qualitative with descriptive-analytic techniques in describing the research results. Data sources were obtained through literature searches. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that political ethics is needed in the utilisation of public space on the grounds that political ethics will limit mass media corporations to fully control the media for their personal interests. Mass media controlled by political elites are sometimes used to win elections, for example. Political ethics in the utilisation of public space, especially mass media, is still lacking in Indonesia. Mass media requires the application of political ethics in it because it is related to freedom of expression in the public sphere in a democratic country. Abstract

Improving Capacity building of village officials in the management of the Village Fund is a crucial step to ensure the effective, efficient, and appropriate use of funds. This research was conducted in Wasur Village, Merauke District, through an education and training programme designed to improve knowledge, skills and attitudes of village officials in managing the Village Fund. Methods methods used included a participatory approach by involving the apparatus actively in every stage, from needs identification to post-training evaluation. The results showed in the capacity of the village apparatus, which can be seen from their ability to their ability to develop better budget planning, improve the quality of financial financial reporting, and applying the principles of transparency and accountability in their management of the Village Fund. In addition, there were more positive attitudinal changes towards the importance of good governance in village governance. The discussion emphasised that continuous education and training as well as intensive technical assistance are key factors in maintaining the continuity of sustainability of the capacity building of the apparatus. In conclusion, the programme did not short-term impact but also instils a strong foundation for sustainable development in Wasur Village. It is recommended that similar programmes be held periodically involving various parties to ensure that village officials continue to adapt to the challenges and maintain the quality of Village Fund management for the welfare of the community.

Abstract

Political education has a strategic role in increasing the participation of the younger generation, especially Generation Z (Gen Z), in the democratic process. This service activity aims to increase the awareness and understanding of Gen Z politics in Merauke Regency ahead of the 2024 Regional Head General Election (Pemilukada). The methods used include interactive lectures based on the results of the Gen Z political participation survey and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which is divided into six discussion groups. The lecture aims to provide an overview of the conditions of political participation, while the FGD encourages participants to delve into local political issues and formulate strategic recommendations. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the democratic process, the mechanism of Pemilukada, and the importance of active participation in voting. Participants were also able to identify challenges to political participation, such as the influence of misinformation and apathy, as well as provide innovative proposals, such as the use of social media as a political education tool. This active participation-based approach is in line with the theory of political participation and deliberative democracy, which emphasizes the importance of rational discussion to strengthen the legitimacy of democracy. This activity concluded that political education designed contextually and interactively is effective in preparing Gen Z to play an active role in Pemilukada. Similar programs need to be continued on an ongoing basis to strengthen the political awareness of the younger generation and improve the quality of democracy at the local level. By harnessing the potential of digital technology and participatory approaches, political education can be a catalyst in building a generation of critical, intelligent, and responsible voters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan anggaran desa di Kampung Kweel, Kabupaten Merauke. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya kapasitas SDM dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip perencanaan serta pengelolaan anggaran secara efektif, yang berpotensi menghambat pencapaian pembangunan desa. Studi ini mengisi celah (gap) penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih banyak berfokus pada aspek regulasi dan struktur kelembagaan tanpa mengeksplorasi kapasitas individu dalam proses anggaran desa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen anggaran desa. Informan penelitian terdiri atas perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan pendamping desa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDM di Kampung Kweel menghadapi sejumlah kendala, seperti minimnya pemahaman terhadap regulasi keuangan desa, rendahnya keterampilan teknis dalam menyusun dan mengelola anggaran, serta keterbatasan akses pelatihan dan pendampingan. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya program peningkatan kapasitas SDM melalui pelatihan intensif, penyediaan panduan teknis, dan supervisi berkelanjutan oleh pemerintah daerah. Dengan peningkatan kapasitas SDM, diharapkan perencanaan dan pengelolaan anggaran desa dapat lebih transparan, akuntabel, dan berorientasi pada pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Sumber Daya Manusia, Perencanaan Anggaran, Pengelolaan Anggaran, Kampung Kweel, Kabupaten Merauke.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the capacity of village officials in carrying out administrative tasks in Urumb Village, Semangga District, Merauke Regency. Capacity building of village officials is essential in ensuring efficient and quality public services to the local community. The approach in this community service involves collaboration between the research team and village officials. In this activity, two days of socialization and training were conducted. In the process, the authors used participatory methods that actively involved village officials in the planning and implementation of the program. The results of this community service showed positive changes in the capacity of village officials in administrative tasks. There was a significant increase in their understanding of the functions and authority of village government administration as well as the types and forms of village government administration. Some success factors that encourage positive results in this community service are: support from the village government; active involvement of village officials; and good communication between researchers and village officials. This community service makes a real contribution in increasing the capacity of village officials in village administration tasks. The results create a stronger foundation for better governance and more efficient public services in Urumb Village, Semangga District. It is recommended that this collaborative approach can be applied in other villages to improve administrative capacity across the region.

Abstract

The establishment of the South Papua Province is a strategic step to address the development inequality that exists in Papua. This study examines the role of various stakeholders in the process of regional expansion using a qualitative literature review. The results of the study highlight the importance of an approach that involves participation, protection of indigenous peoples rights, and transparent budget management. The suggestions provided include gradual expansion and the establishment of an independent supervisory board. This study contributes to the literature on regional autonomy by combining the perspectives of various actors involved.
