Abstract

The movement of the IKN has been a plan since Joko Widodo was elected president, in 2019. This article seeks to explore the policy of the State Capital (IKN) understood as the path taken by the government. Using a rational choice framework in the perspective of sharia and politics. This policy exists because it is supported by three aspects: first, the environmental aspect which is a stimulus for actors to act. Second, aspects of the rules of the game through a legal-formal framework that makes it easy to provide the red carpet for actors. Third, the organizational aspect that emphasizes the self-interest of the actors so that it creates a desire to shape IKN policies. This study uses a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach, which analyzes various available data. The discussion put forward is based on references examined through the opinions of experts and scholars, as well as from books. The transfer of IKN is considered to tend only as a policy that benefits certain groups, and is considered to have not achieved benefit, because benefit concerns the interests of many people, not personal interests or certain small groups

Abstract

Diskriminasi terhadap orang dengan keterbatasan fisik, motorik, mental, atau intelektual yang dikenal sebagai penyandang disabilitas sering terjadi dan masih menjadi isu yang signifikan di Indonesia dan banyak negara lain. Penyandang disabilitas menghadapi kesulitan dalam mencari dan mendapatkan pekerjaan karena mereka dianggap kurang produktif dan tidak mampu bekerja. Menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran atau penjelasan tentang subjek penelitian dan analisis statistik digunakan untuk memperoleh data atas variabel terkait. Menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research) merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi tentang subjek yang dibahas melalui berbagai situs resmi. Meratifikasi The Convention of Rights for People with Disabilities (CRPD) adalah betuk intervensi pemerintah untuk memastikan bahwa hak penyandang disabilitas dihormati, dilindungi, dan dipenuhi sesuai dengan hak orang lain. Selain itu, berbagai kebijakan berlandaskan Undang-Undang telah disahkan oleh pemerintah Indonesia untuk menangani diskriminasi terhadap penyandang disabilitas melalui Hak Asasi Manusia dan Kesempatan Kerja. Namun, pemerintah Indonesia masih perlu melakukan lebih banyak upaya salah satunya bekerja sama dengan BUMN/BUMD dan perusahaan swasta untuk mewujudkan persaman hak bagi setiap warga negara, termasuk penyandang disabilitas dalam hal mendapatkan pekerjaan.

Abstract

The participation of voters with disabilities in elections is one of the important aspects in realizing an inclusive democracy. This study aims to investigate the influence of political awareness on the level of participation of voters with disabilities in elections in Indonesia. Using qualitative methods and literature study techniques, this study analyzes various relevant sources, including scientific articles, policy reports, and previous studies. The results of the analysis show that high political awareness contributes significantly to the participation of voters with disabilities. Voters who are aware of their political rights tend to be more active in exercising their right to vote, even though they are still faced with various challenges such as physical accessibility and limited information. Therefore, this study recommends the need for greater efforts to increase political awareness through inclusive education and the provision of disability-friendly information. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more inclusive election policies in Indonesia.
