Abstract

Motile Aeromonad Septicemia is a disease caused by infection with Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria that often attacks catfish farming. Treatment through antibiotics has been banned by the government because it can damage the environment and is not safe for fish. Alternative use of herbal ingredients as treatment aimed to test the use of kepok banana peel extract for the treatment of disease is a solution for catfish. This study consisted of 3 doses of extract treatment (A; 1.0 g/g feed, B; 2.0 g/kg feed, G4.0 gkg feed) and 2 controls (positive and negative) with 3 replications each. The weight of catfish fry used was 11±0,59 g/fish and the density of bacteria used was 105 CFU/ml for the antagonistic test. The results showed that kepok banana peel extract had an effect on catfish survival (p<0.05). The results of the study showed that kepok banana peel extract had an effect on improving the health status of catfish and treatment dose B (2.0 g/kg feed) was the best dose. Kepok banana peel extract can improve catfish survival and health status of fish after A. hydrophila bacterial infection.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta, from the era of the Sunda Kelapa Kingdom to the modern day, has been the nation's capital, spanning Dutch colonial rule and the independence period. As the centre of government and culture, Jakarta possesses complex historical dynamics and exerts a significant influence on national identity. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with a literature review serving as the primary method. The results indicate that Jakarta has experienced a major cultural transformation due to the acculturation of diverse ethnicities and cultures, including Betawi, Chinese, Arabic, and Dutch. Additionally, the development of tourism in Jakarta is greatly influenced by its historical heritage and local cultural assets, as reflected in destinations such as the Old City, the National Monument, museums, and art and cultural centres. The role of government and society in preserving cultural values and promoting tourism is crucial to maintaining the city's identity and ensuring its sustainability. This study underscores the importance of integrating history and culture into tourism planning to establish Jakarta as a global city that remains anchored in its local heritage.
