Abstract

In agriculture with the hydroponic method of the DFT system (Deep Flow Technique), the circulation of plant nutrients must occur continuously to prevent decay in plants. Along with the many concerns due to the large electricity costs incurred to run the irrigation system for hydroponic plants, the authors hereby design a tool in the form of a submersible pump as a medium for regulating the flow of water in plants by utilizing a 50 WP PV module instead of a source of electrical energy from PLN. The method used in this research is the method of observation, literature study, design, and testing. The results of the 50 WP solar panel-based submersible pump trial show that a circuit connected to a battery at 1M Head tends to produce a stable water discharge, which is an average of 6.03 liters/minute compared to one that is not connected to a battery, which is only 5.28 liters/minute. Furthermore, the resulting water discharge affects the quality of the plants, especially in root length, number of leaves, leaf length, and leaf size. The test results are used as a reference for the comparison of expenditure costs between irrigation systems run using solar cells and those based on conventional (PLN).

Abstract

PLTU Banten 3 Lontar Merupakan salah satu Pembangkit Tenaga Uap yang berada di Lontar Kabupaten Tangerang Banten. PLTU Lontar ini milik anak buah PT. PLN (Persero) yaitu Indonesia Power yang memiliki 3 unit Pembangkit dengan kapasitas masing – masing unit Pembangkit sebesar 3 x 315 dengan Energi listrik yang dihasilkan PLTU Lontar akan disalurkan Jaringan Tranmisi 150 KV (SUTT) sepanjang 25 Kilometer ke Gardu induk Teluk Naga dan Gardu Induk New Tangerang untuk memperkuat pasokan tenaga listrik di area Jakarta, tangerang dan sekitarnya pada sistem kelistrikan di jawa. Dalam penggunaan peralatan di PT. Indonesia Power PLTU Banten 3 Lontar OMU yang berlangsung terus menerus sehingga sangat penting untuk memperhatikan kondisi peralatan proteksi dengan melakukan pemeliharaan dengan “Preventive Maintenance” agar peralatan dapat tetap berfungsi dengan baik. Pada kasus kerusakan peralatan Proteksi untuk saat ini belum terlihat adanya permasalahan yang terjadi pada kurangnya kinerja pengolahan batu bara pada Belt Conveyor. Mengingat sering terjadinya hal tersebut bahwa alat proteksi dalam suatu proses pengolahan batu bara. Maka dari pembahasan ini penulis melakukan penilaian terhadap data dilapangan sehingga mengetahui masalah pada suatu alat. Mengingat pentingnya dan besarnya manfaat dari pembahasan ini, maka penyusun tertarik membahas “Preventive Maintenance Kontrol intrumen Belt Conveyor C-7”.

Abstract

PT. Sejin Lestari Furniture is a company engaged in the production of furniture such as doors, tables, chairs, cabinets, bookcases and other interior equipment. As one of the companies that have succeeded in producing finished goods in large quantities, PT. Sejin Lestari Furniture relies on the help of an electric motor at every stage of its production, including one of the wood pellet production machines, namely the biofuel pelletizer molding machine which has four different types of motors. In order to work optimally, electric motors need a protection system that can protect them from threats. In this study, the protection system used is Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) which functions as an overload controller so that the electric motor is not easily burned or damaged. In this case, the TOR must be adjusted according to the capacity of each induction motor so that when an overload occurs, the TOR will automatically cut off the current flowing in the motor so that damage can be avoided. The TOR trip standards in this study uses the NEMA (National Electrical Manufactures Association) standard with the method used, namely Research and Development (R&D) where this method is carried out to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The data collection was obtained through journals and books.

Abstract

The learning process in the independent curriculum using the teaching factory learning method makes learning outcomes in vocational high schools relevant to producing students who are ready to work. The learning process is practical in order to produce products that can hone the skills possessed by each student. Learning with an approach like this will foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students. In the newest curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, the P5 project was created. In its implementation, P5 strengthens Pancasila values ​​with a project-based approach. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, literature study, documentation and evaluation. The implementation of the independent learning curriculum has been quite effective, especially when the implementation of P5 emerged.

Abstract

Vocational high schools which produce students ready to enter the world of work require the learning system used to be oriented towards developing students' skill competencies. Through independent learning, SMKN 1 Cilegon implements a block system through teaching factory learning to improve the quality of learning. Teaching Factory is a production-oriented learning that has been adapted to relevant field expertise competencies and is focused on project creation. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of literature study, observation and documentation. The findings from this research show that the skills possessed by these students are average, no one is left behind in understanding and adapting all forms of theory and practice so that the involvement of Teaching Factory learning in this block system is very effective.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology will obtain excellent effectiveness and efficiency from sources of electrical energy owned by a company or agency. With the progress of the industrial world today, the development of digital technology which ends in computer systems indirectly makes control technology involved as part of this progress. The availability of a power source is a very important aspect in the midst of technological developments. However, because the system is very complex, starting from the power plant to distribution to consumers, there is a high possibility of disturbances that can cause the flow of electrical energy to consumers to be cut off. There are certain places including factories, offices, banks, campuses, hospitals, airports and other places that could potentially endanger one's safety or drastically disrupt the course of the economic cycle. The flow of electrical energy must not be interrupted for a very long time because it can hamper the production process. and others, so that additional supply is needed to anticipate when the electricity is cut off from the National Power Plant source.

Abstract

With the development of science and technology, the need for energy is getting bigger. influenced by an increase in population and human needs. One example of energy needed by all parties, including industries, is electrical energy. Electrical energy is an energy that cannot be separated from everyday life, where almost all equipment uses electrical energy both in industry and in development itself which is one of the factors that demand the supply of electrical energy. One of the most important equipment in the PLTU, namely the drive on the conveyor belt, is a 380 V electric motor. Electric motors are prone to being overloaded because they are used too often to reach the target, and also because these electric motors are often exposed to dust from coal which can cause the electric motor to accumulate dirt in the electric motor where the electric motor becomes obstructed and when it reaches letting it sit continuously can make the electric motor not optimal in operation and can be totally damaged.

Abstract

This research focuses on the performance of local wisdom works commemorating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a form of implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) which aims to preserve and introduce traditions and culture in Banten to students at SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon which has implemented the independent curriculum Study. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are the high enthusiasm of students at SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon in celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW at school.

Abstract

Penggunaan motor listrik dengan kontaktor sebagai pengendalinya dapat menyebabkan arus (starting) motor melonjak saat start pertama dihidupkan. Dalam perkembangan teknologi, Variable Speed Drive (inverter) berfungsi untuk mengurangi konsumsi energi listrik dalam mengendalikan kecepatan putar motor listrik dengan mengubah prinsip frekuensi inputnya, sehingga dapat memungkinkan upaya penghematan konsumsi energi dan peningkatan produksi terhadap kapasitas pabrik. Penggunaan motor listrik yang fungsinya sebagai penggerak mesin merupakan contoh penggunaan motor listrik yang tidak efisien dan membutuhkan energi yang cukup besar, Selain itu, penggunaan motor listrik masih menggunakan cara tradisional, yaitu dengan mengguakan kontaktor. penggunaan kontaktor dapat menyebabkan arus (starting) motor melonjak saat start pertama dihidupkan. Lonjakan arus start yang cukup besar ini juga berdampak pada pemborosan konsumsi daya. Namun, lonjakan ini dapat di minimalkan dengan memodifikasi teknik pengendaliannya yaitu menggunakan VFD. VFD dapat mengatur lonjakan arus startin sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diperlukan, yaitu dengan cara mengubabh frekuensinya.

Abstract

Penggunaan belt conveyor di PT. Indonesia Power PLTU Banten 3 Lontar OMU berlangsung kurang lebih 24 jam sehari secara terus menerus, sehingga sangat penting untuk memperhatikan kondisi peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor dengan cara melakukan pemeliharaan dengan “preventive maintenance” agar kondisi peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor dapat tetap berfungsi dengan baik. Kasus kerusakan pada peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor untuk saat ini belum terlihat hanya saja terdapat permasalahan yang terjadi pada beberapa peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor yang dapat mengakibatkan terhambatnya proses produksi. Mengingat sering terjadinya hal tersebut pada peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor dalam suatu proses produksi, maka dari pembahasan ini penulis akan melakukan penilaian terhadap kinerja peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor C-2B terhadap data dilapangan sehingga mengetahui bermasalah atau tidaknya suatu peralatan electrical pada area belt conveyor C-2B. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Preventive Maintenance yang dilakukan pada Electrical C-2B Belt Conveyor, memahami manfaat dari Preventive Maintenance Electrical C-2B Belt Conveyor dan menganalisis hasil Preventive Maintenance pada Electrical C-2B Belt Conveyor.
