Abstract

Purpose – This community empowerment program aims to enhance the independence and productivity of the Mina Usaha Bahagia Fishery Group through the implementation of an appropriate technology innovation—a fish pellet extruder machine—combined with integrated business management training. Design/methodology/approach – The program employed a needs assessment, the design and installation of a pellet extruder machine, and a series of technical and managerial training activities. Evaluation was conducted by measuring changes in production capacity, cost efficiency, and sales performance before and after the intervention. Findings – The implementation of the pellet machine significantly improved production efficiency by reducing the time required to produce 10 kg of feed from 120 minutes to 35 minutes and lowering production costs to Rp 6,500 per kilogram. Production capacity increased threefold, with enhanced pellet uniformity. On the managerial side, members demonstrated improved competencies in financial management and digital marketing, contributing to a 52% increase in group income. The establishment of a visual business identity further strengthened the group’s branding and marketing effectiveness. Originality/value – This program provides a distinctive integration of managerial training and appropriate technology application, which collectively demonstrated substantial improvements in both technical and business aspects within a community-scale fishery enterprise.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kinerja pengadaan dan manajemen stok di Poljammart sebagai upaya menekan terjadinya stockout dan overstock. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumentasi (perencanaan pengadaan, rencana pembelian, rekap pembelian tanpa perencanaan, dan hasil stock opname), observasi proses operasional, serta wawancara terarah untuk menguatkan identifikasi penyebab. Analisis dilakukan dengan tabulasi data dan perhitungan indikator persediaan seperti selisih stok, akurasi stok, serta identifikasi pembelian di luar perencanaan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Poljammart telah memiliki mekanisme perencanaan pengadaan dan pemantauan barang limit stok, namun masih terjadi pembelian tanpa perencanaan sebanyak 29 item dengan total nilai Rp 1.557.551. Selain itu, stock opname menunjukkan adanya selisih antara stok sistem dan stok fisik serta ditemukannya anomali data stok, yang terutama disebabkan oleh kesalahan pencatatan transaksi penjualan dan keterlambatan pembaruan data stok akibat proses verifikasi yang belum tuntas. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa akurasi data persediaan belum stabil sehingga berpotensi memicu keputusan pembelian yang tidak tepat. Rekomendasi perbaikan meliputi penetapan stok minimum-maksimum dan reorder point per item, penguatan disiplin pencatatan transaksi, percepatan pembaruan data penerimaan barang, serta pelaksanaan stock opname berkala sebagai dasar pengendalian persediaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of delivery delays, order inaccuracies, and courier capacity limitations on the distribution performance of online food delivery (OFD) services in Jambi City from a customer perspective. This study used a quantitative approach with 100 respondents who had used OFD services more than twice. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that all three independent variables simultaneously had a significant effect on distribution performance. Partially, the variables of order inaccuracies and courier capacity limitations had a positive and significant effect on distribution performance, while delivery delays had no significant effect. The Adjusted R Square value of 39.4% indicates that the model is able to explain variations in distribution performance quite well. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of the courier operational system and the accuracy of order processing play an important role in improving the efficiency of the OFD supply chain in medium-sized urban areas such as Jambi. The results of this study are expected to provide a strategic basis for service providers in improving delivery systems and logistics capacity management.
