Abstract

This research aims to develop comic-based media on the topic of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) on the topic of the dangers of smoking for fifth-grade student’s at SDN 29 Cakranegara. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model approach, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study involves all fifth-grade student’s at SDN 29 Cakranegara, consisting of 25 student’s and 1 teacher. The result of this research is a PJOK comic media that contains material about the dangers of smoking for school-age children. This comic is comprehensively structured with a title, usage instructions, main material, and exercise questions. Based on validation by media experts, this comic obtained an average feasibility percentage of 82.22%, and subject matter expert, it received 89.3%. Additionally, the results of small and large-scale trials, involving responses from teachers and student’s, indicate that this comic media falls into the very feasible category. This PJOK comic media can be used as a learning tool for the dangers of smoking, attracting student’s interest in learning, increasing learning motivation, and enhancing student’s knowledge and understanding of the dangers of smoking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV di MI Darul Hikmah Darek khususnya pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan, pendidik menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran seperti modul ajar yang memuat sintak model PjBL, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran berupa proyek dan penilaian. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan berpedoman pada modul ajar yang terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan; kegiatan inti yang memuat sintak PjBL yakni penetuan topik proyek, perencanaan pelaksanaan proyek, penyusunan jadwal pelaksanaan proyek, pelaksanaan proyek, dan penilaian hasil; serta kegiatan penutup. Evaluasi pelaksanaannya yaitu proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan modul ajar. Namun pendidik melewatkan kegiatan assesment mandiri pada tahap penilaian hasil karena terkendala waktu, sehingga penilaian dilakukan hanya melalui kerja kelompok. Hasil belajar menunjukkan satu kelompok memperoleh nilai 75. Sedangkan tiga kelompok lainnya memperoleh nilai 87,5. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pendidik merencanakan pembelajaran dengan menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran, kemudian melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan berpedoman pada modul ajar. Evaluasi pelaksanaannya yaitu kegiatan pembelajaran berjalan dengan lancar dilihat dari keaktifan peserta didik mengikuti pembelajaran dari awal hingga akhir. Namun pendidik melewatkan tahap assesment mandiri karena terkendalanya waktu. Sehingga penilaian hanya dilakukan melalui pekerjaan kelompok.

Abstract

This international mangrove conservation program implemented a Community-Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR) approach at Cemara Beach, West Lombok, addressing 57% mangrove loss over the past decade. The collaboration between Universitas Mataram (Indonesia) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) engaged 35 participants (20 students, 13 lecturers, and 2 local farmers) in rehabilitating 0.5 hectares of degraded coastal area through strategic planting of 200 Rhizophora mucronata seedlings. The three-phase methodology included: (1) Pre-activity ecological surveys and stakeholder coordination, (2) Implementation combining theoretical training (mangrove ecology, planting techniques) and hands-on planting sessions with 1.5m spacing optimization, and (3) Post-activity evaluation through participant questionnaires and focus group discussions. Key innovations included experiential learning modules and the development of an Implementation Agreement for sustained institutional collaboration. Results demonstrated 82% seedling survival after 3 months, with 92% participant competency improvement in mangrove management. The program successfully integrated local knowledge (via "Relawan Mangrove" farmers' group) with academic expertise, creating a replicable model for coastal rehabilitation. Challenges identified included the need for extended training duration (recommended 50% longer) and enhanced safety protocols for future iterations. Strategic impacts aligned with SDGs 14 (Life Below Water) and 17 (Partnerships), establishing a transnational conservation network while enhancing community resilience. The initiative's success is documented through: (1) peer-reviewed publications in Jurnal Pengabdian Magister Pendidikan IPA, (2) institutional social media dissemination, and (3) formalized monitoring frameworks for long-term ecological assessment.
