Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P2RA) projects for MI students is one of the efforts to build student character. The projects are expected to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop positive characters that are needed to be good citizens, especially discipline and responsibility. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the implementation of the P5-P2RA projects in building the disciplined character and responsible character of MI students. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were collected through observation and study kinds of literature. The results of the study show that the P5-P2RA projects have the potential to build the disciplined character and responsible character of MI students. The projects can provide opportunities for students to learn about the values of Pancasila and rahmatan lil alamin, and apply those values in their daily lives. Based on the results of this study, the P5-P2RA projects can be developed and optimized for the dicipline character and responsible character of MI students. This is important in order to have a greater impact on building the character of MI students. This is demonstrated through various activities that students can participate in with a sense of discipline and responsibility.

Abstract

This article discusses the results of a study aimed at developing PowerPoint-based audiovisual media as a learning strategy to improve vocabulary memorization skills in English language learning. The researchers developed engaging and practical PowerPoint-based audiovisual media using a Research & Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The evaluation results from media design experts, English language experts, and learning experts indicated that the developed learning media fell into the highly suitable category with a percentage above 80%. Subsequently, the media was tested with small and large groups. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing using paired t-test showed that the PowerPoint-based audiovisual media on the topic of the human body was effective in improving students' vocabulary memorization skills in English language learning, with a calculated t-value of 2.845 > tabulated t-value of 2.028. Based on all these findings, it can be concluded that the use of PowerPoint-based audiovisual media has a significant impact on students' vocabulary memorization skills.

Abstract

Inclusive education is not adequately implemented due to a lack of special education teachers in each school unit. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method approach. The analysis is carried out utilizing an ethnographic study approach. The participants in this study are all Shadow Teachers who are receiving training on how to assist special needs students. Data is gathered by interviews, observations, and documentation. The study concludes that there are several stages that must be completed in order to become a Shadow Teacher, including providing initial insight into inclusive schools and types of children with special needs, screening assistance, how to analyze screening results, how to implement learning adjusted to the identified barriers, and how to provide assessments that reflect the abilities that learners have not yet achieved.

Abstract

Nyadran has a combination of local culture and religion, especially Islamic and Javanese culture, which respect for ancestors. This ritual also reflects the values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, tolerance and harmony between society. This research aims to integrate Islamic values in the local wisdom of Nyadran tradition to promote harmony and tolerance in society and also to identify how Islamic values can be internalized in the Nyadran tradition without eliminating the essence of local wisdom, as well as its impact on harmony and tolerance between society. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and literature review related to the Nyadran tradition and Islamic teachings on harmony and tolerance. Data analysis was done descriptively by combining cultural and religious perspectives. The results showed that the integration of Islamic values in the Nyadran tradition can be done with a dialogical approach between religious leaders and local traditional leaders. Some Islamic values that have been successfully integrated include the attitude of gratitude, almsgiving, and social care. In addition, it was found that the involvement of all elements of society in the Nyadran event can strengthen the sense of togetherness and tolerance. Harmony is created when the tradition is not only a religious ritual, but also a means of strengthening social relations between society. The conclusion of this research is that the integration of Islamic values in local wisdom such as Nyadran has the potential to become a model for the creation of harmony and tolerance in a multicultural society. This tradition can be a bridge between local cultural identity and Islamic values, which ultimately strengthens social cohesion in the Jenar society.

Abstract

Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan aplikasi SPSS telah menjadi kebutuhan yang mendesak dalam meningkatkan validitas dan akurasi analisis statistik di kalangan peneliti dan akademisi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dalam penggunaan SPSS melalui pelatihan interaktif berbasis teknologi. Dengan melibatkan 32 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang akademis, kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui platform Zoom pada tanggal 11 Mei 2024. Metode pelatihan mencakup sesi pengantar untuk menjelaskan pentingnya aplikasi SPSS dalam riset, pembagian peserta menjadi kelompok kecil untuk diskusi intensif, dan sesi praktik langsung menggunakan studi kasus yang relevan. Evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah acara menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam analisis statistik dasar seperti uji-t dan analisis regresi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menyoroti keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi teknis peserta dalam mengelola data penelitian mereka sendiri dengan lebih efektif. Pentingnya kegiatan ini terletak pada kontribusinya dalam meningkatkan kualitas riset lokal dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada konsultan statistik eksternal, sehingga mempromosikan kemandirian dan produktivitas riset di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of IPAS learning, which has been less interesting and difficult to understand because it only relies on LKS. The experimental bag was created by researcher as a learning tool that helps students, helps teachers, and improves learning outcomes. Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation are all parts of the Research & Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. Design experts, material experts, and learning experts validated 97%, 92%, and 98% respectively. N-Gain analysis in the medium category (0.5) showed the effectiveness of the media, and the pilot test showed an average result of 99% in the small group and 101% in the large group. The results showed that the experimental bag can help students understand IPAS lessons in grade V.
