Abstract

The ethnobotanical utilization of medicinal plants is an integral part of the local wisdom of the Penguluh Tribe community in KPHP Limau Unit VII Hulu Sarolangun, Jambi. However, the lack of systematic documentation of key variables hampers efforts to preserve and develop this practice. This study aims to identify key variables that play a role in the sustainability of medicinal ethnobotany utilization. The methods used include primary data collection through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, literature reviews, and analysis of relationships between variables using the MICMAC (Matrix of Cross-Impact Multiplication Applied to Classification) approach. The results of the study show that of the 15 variables analyzed, seven main variables, such as regulation, types of medicinal plants, cultivation techniques, sources of knowledge, social roles, conservation efforts, and integration of local and formal learning, have a significant influence on the medicinal ethnobotany utilization system. The regulatory variable is identified as the key factor with the highest impact. The discussion highlights the importance of managing driver and linkage variables to ensure system sustainability. In conclusion, strengthening regulations, conservation of natural resources, and integrating local knowledge with scientific approaches are needed to strengthen medicinal ethnobotany and sustain local communities' welfare.

Abstract

Cultivation activities are activities from cultivated forests that cover large areas and the skills required are sufficient. Planting includes species selection, field preparation, stake installation, planting hole making, seed transportation, shelter. The purpose of this activity is as an activity in the tridharma of higher education, one of which is community service) and also to raise awareness in the village community about the importance of planting so that it can increase the type of vegetation and the role of plants in absorbing CO2 gas and storing groundwater. This activity will be carried out in 2022 starting from the stages of activity planning and implementation of coaching in Boidu Village. The results obtained are that it can increase the type of plant vegetation in the village so that the environment can become cooler, besides that with the presence of plants, the process of absorbing water by plants can reduce air surface runoff. Planting is carried out using wood-producing species and non-timber forest products so that in the future it can be utilized by the community in the form of fruits produced by plants. Keywords : Boidu Village, Greening, Planting

Abstract

Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (AMF) can be used as a biofertilizer or biological fertilizer so that it increases the absorption of nutrients needed by plants such as P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi fertilizer on the growth of matoa seedlings in post-gold mining soil media. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi treatment on each plant, including: Control (A), 5 g AMF (B), 10 g AMF (C), 15 g AMF (D). The results showed that the inoculation treatment of 15 g AMF was able to increase the average percentage of root colonization (72.21%), plant height (5.19 cm), diameter (0.80 mm), dry weight of shoots (1.93 g), and seedling quality index (0.26). Therefore, AMF can play a role in increasing the growth of matoa seedlings in nutrient-poor soil, especially post-gold mining soil on a plastic house scale. Therefore, FMA can play a role in increasing the growth of matoa seedlings in nutrient-poor soil, especially post-plastic house-scale gold mining soil.

Sehingga penggabungan FMA dan pupuk supernasa untuk menguji hubungan ketersediaan unsur hara dan serapan hara yang dibuthkan oleh tanaman.ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the effect of application of AMF and supernasa fertilizer on the growth of three-month-old Kuku wood (P. mooniana THW) seedlings. The research design used was based on a Completely Randomized Factorial Design. The first factor is AMF (A) which consists of two treatments including A0 (Control), A1 (Septoglomus constrictium), the second factor is supernasa fertilizer (B) which consists of three treatments namely B0 (control), B1=1 g/1 L water, B2 = 1.5 g/1 L water, B3 = 2 g/1 L water, B4 = 2.5 g/1 L water. Data analysis in this study used analysis of variance (F test) and if the results showed a real effect, it was continued with the Duncan test. The results of the research showed that the interaction treatment of AMF and supernasa fertilizer 1.5 g/liter of water increased the growth of seed diameter with a percent increase compared to the control by 110%, the interaction of AMF S. constrictum and supernasa fertilizer 1 g/liter of water tended to have the highest average for the high variable. (4.60 cm) and for the variable number of leaves in the interaction treatment of AMF S. constrictum and without supernasa fertilizer (4.18 pieces). Single Factor AMF S. constrictum AMF treatment was significantly different from the control in the variables height, diameter and number of leaves. The single fertilization factor showed that 1 g/liter of water supernasa fertilizer treatment increased the growth in height, diameter and number of leaves of three-month-old Kuku wood seedlings with values respectively 4.09 cm, 1.07 mm, and 3.85 strands. So combining AMF and supernasa fertilizer to test the relationship between nutrient availability and nutrient uptake needed by plants.Â
