Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of training, teamwork, work motivation, and work discipline on job performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan. This research is quantitative in nature. The population consists of all employees from PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan, totaling 50 employees. The sample size matches the population size, comprising 50 employees, selected using saturated sampling technique. The research findings indicate that H1 is accepted, indicating that training influences job performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan. H2 is accepted, indicating that teamwork influences job performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan. H3 is accepted, indicating that work motivation influences job performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan. H4 is accepted, indicating that work discipline influences job performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan. H5 is accepted, indicating that training, teamwork, work motivation, and work discipline collectively influence job performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Medan.

Abstract

The role of leaders in running an organization is enormous. This is because leaders influence the decision-making in each program. Suppose there are decision-making errors, which will have fatal consequences for the company's progress. Thus, this study aims to investigate how the organizational atmosphere and resonant leadership affect the performance of academics at the Asahan Regency. This study used quantitative methodologies for data collection, and SmartPLS 3.0 software was used for SEM-Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis procedures. Two hundred thirty permanent lecturers at the Asahan Regency served as the research sample. The research results show that resonant leadership and organizational climate significantly influence the performance of lecturers in Asahan Regency. So, it is concluded that to increase human resources, resonant leadership, and an organizational environment are needed in higher education institutions in Asahan Regency.   Keyword : Resonant Leadership, Organizational Climate, Lecturer Performance

Abstract

The decline in the quality of education is largely caused by various factors, both internal and external. Therefore, an in-depth study is needed to find a solution to overcome this problem. Like this study will test whether there is an influence of the work environment and digital literacy of teachers on the quality of education with teacher performance as an intervening variable in Lokhsumawe. The collection of research data used a quantitative data approach with 150 samples in all State Senior High Schools (SMAN) in Lhoksumawe City. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the Work Environment and Digital Literacy on teacher performance at Lhoksumawe City Senior High Schools. Furthermore, there was also an influence of the Work Environment, and Teacher Digital Literacy on the Quality of Education at Lhoksumawe City Senior High Schools. Likewise, there is an influence of Teacher Performance on the Quality of Education at Lhoksumawe City Senior High Schools, then there is an influence of the Work Environment and Digital Literacy on the Quality of Education through Teacher Performance at Lhoksumawe City Senior High Schools.

Abstract

Efforts to improve student achievement in a school environment cannot be separated from the role of teachers who must be more serious in implementing educational programs. Therefore, this study will test whether there is an influence of digital competence and resonant leadership on the performance of high school teachers with job satisfaction as an intervening variable and workload as a moderating variable at State Senior High Schools in Lhoksumawe City. Data collection was carried out quantitatively. This study involved teachers at high schools in Lhoksumawe City, Aceh. The results showed that digital competence and resonant leadership had a positive effect on teacher performance at Lhoksumawe City High Schools. In addition, digital competence and resonant leadership also had a positive effect on job satisfaction at Lhoksumawe City High Schools, and job satisfaction also had a positive effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kuatnya pengaruh motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja, terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja pegawai ASN di Kementerian Hukum dan HAM Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif kepada 70 responden yang dijadikan sampel dan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari 38 pertanyaan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan skala likert. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linear berganda, koefisien determinasi (R2), uji t dan uji sobel. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, sementara pelatihan kerja, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Dengan demikian, motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Serta kepuasan kerja dapat berperan sebagai variabel intervening dalam hubungan antara motivasi kerja, pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Melalui uji sobel dapat dikatakan bahwa kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening antara motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai memiliki nilai Adjusted R2 sebesar 0,680 atau 68% yang berarti 32% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

AbstractThe selection of a campus in achieving the goal of college certainly has many determining factors. So it is necessary to explore what are the reasons. This study will test whether there is an influence of Perceived Quality and Brand Image in determining the selection of the destination campus. Data collection used in this study is associative research and literature review. Data collection was carried out at six Aviation Polytechnics in Indonesia. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of Perceived Quality and Brand Image on Brand Trust. Furthermore, Perceived Quality also influences the Decision to Choose College and so does Brand Image have an influence on the Decision to Choose College. Furthermore, Brand Trust also has a Significant Influence on the Decision to Choose College. Furthermore, there is the Influence of Perceived Quality Through Brand Trust on the Decision to Choose College. The findings also show that there is an influence of Brand Image Through Brand Trust on the Decision to Choose College. So it is concluded that Perceived Quality and Brand Image are part of the factors that determine the selection of the campus that is the destination in college. Abstract

The many negative environmental influences are considered to have caused a decline in student achievement levels. Therefore, it is necessary to have strategies to improve student achievement. Therefore, this study will test whether there is an influence of the work environment on the performance of high school teachers with workload as a moderating variable at state high schools in Lhoksumawe City. Data collection uses quantitative methods. The results of the study indicate that the work environment has a positive effect on teacher performance and teacher workload at Lhoksumawe City High Schools. Likewise, workload also affects teacher performance, and then there is also a positive influence of the work environment on teacher performance mediated by teacher workload at Lhoksumawe City High Schools.

Abstract

The quality of education is very much needed to improve human resources. Therefore, this study will test whether there is an influence of locus of control on the quality of education in Lokhsumawe which is moderated by compensation. This study uses quantitative methods. The results of the study indicate that Locus of Control has an influence on the quality of education in Lokhsumawe. They also show that Locus of Control has an influence on compensation, and compensation has an influence on the quality of education. The research variables also conclude that teacher compensation affects Locus of Control on the quality of education in Lhoksumawe City High Schools.

Abstract

This study is to test what is considered important in improving MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection using quantitative methods with a sample of 300 people and then data processing using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model. The study's findings indicate that green innovation in MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City is significantly influenced by green human capital, green structural capital, and green relational capital. Furthermore, sustainable company performance is not much impacted by green human capital. In contrast, green relational and structural capital significantly affects the success of sustainable businesses. In the meanwhile, sustainable company performance is significantly impacted by green innovation. Additionally, the relationship between green human capital and sustainable company performance can be mediated by green innovation. The relationship between green structural capital and sustainable business performance in Pematangsiantar City's MSMEs can also be mediated by green innovation. Finally, green innovation can act as a mediator in the interaction between green relational capital and sustainable business performance in MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City.

Abstract

The decrease in the number of patient visits to one of the hospitals is caused by various important factors. Among them may be due to a poor service system. Therefore, this study will examine the Influence of Personal Characteristics, Knowledge Management and Organizational Support on Work-Life Balance. Data collection in the study used literature studies and quantitative descriptive. Data collection was carried out at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan. The research sample was 220 people. The results of the study showed that personal characteristics, knowledge management and organizational support had a positive effect on work-life balance at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan. So it is concluded that all independent variables have an influence on Work-Life Balance at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan.
