Abstract

Pasar Terusan Village is one of the villages in Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, with a relatively large population, thus has the potential to become a driving force in development, especially in Pasar Terusan Village. Pasar Terusan Village is located in a lowland area with extensive rice fields and plantations, which affect the economic patterns of local residents. The area of rice fields is ± 650 ha and is the largest land owned by the Muara Bulian district. Pasar Terusan Village is an expansion from Terusan Village and was once the economic mainstay of the village with the construction of a market on the banks of the Batanghari River. The people of Pasar Terusan Village, apart from being farmers, also have a livelihood as plantation farmers, both oil palm plantations and rubber plantations. The challenge for the Bumdes management to be able to develop their capacity and creativity in managing the potential they have, certainly provides a great opportunity for Bumdes to develop their businesses in order to improve the community's economy and add to the Village's PAD.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of each student tend to vary according to their level of intellectual intelligence. Some students have a level of ability above other students, some are at an average level of ability and some are below the ability of other students. This can be seen when the teaching and learning process occurs, often some students dominate the atmosphere and others are just passive. In entrepreneurship courses, especially in discussions about business plans, students are often found to be passive, less creative, lacking ideas and just keep quiet. Therefore, in improving learning outcomes in Entrepreneurship courses, especially on the subject of business planning, one method that can be used is to use learning tools or media in the form of the Business Model Canvas (BMC). By using this media, it is hoped that student activity, creativity and learning outcomes will increase. The use of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) can stimulate student activity and creativity in the teaching and learning process because they are challenged to express their business ideas on the 9 canvas blocks that are available. Using this media will also be fun, discussing with each other, looking for new sources of knowledge and ultimately it is hoped that there will be an increase in learning outcomes. The results of the research concluded that the use of Business Model Canvas (BMC) media in the Entrepreneurship learning of the FEB Jambi University Management Study Program could be a solution in overcoming students' lack of activity in learning and minimal use of learning methods and media. Media Business Model Canvas (BMC) in Entrepreneurship learning in making business plans can improve student learning outcomes. The use of Business Model Canvas (BMC) media in Entrepreneurship learning can reduce verbalism in learning so that learning is more interesting, fun and not boring.

Abstract

Muara Jernih Village holds significant potential for creative economy development through its local batik craftsmanship. However, batik artisans in this village face various challenges, such as a lack of innovation in motif design, limited knowledge of modern dyeing techniques and marketing, low product quality, and restricted market access. These conditions hinder efforts to empower the community economically and preserve the local batik culture. This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the PKK women in Muara Jernih Village in designing modern batik motifs, improving product quality, expanding market access, empowering the creative economy, and preserving the local batik heritage. The solutions provided include training in modern batik motif design, digital marketing and branding workshops, and business development mentoring. This approach is expected to address the challenges faced by batik artisans and promote the sustainability of the creative economy in Muara Jernih Village.

Abstract

The development of very advanced technology, leads to changes in the lifestyle of every human being, including the marketing and financial fields have developed towards a more efficient and modern direction. The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of digital transaction service innovation on service user decisions, identify the influence of digital transaction service innovation on lifestyle, identify the influence of lifestyle on service user decisions and identify the role of lifestyle in mediating the influence of digital transaction service innovation on Go-Pay service user decisions. The independent variable used is innovation with indicators of relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, divisibility and communicability. The mediating variable is lifestyle with indicators of activities, interest and opinion while the dependent variable is the decision of the service user. This study was conducted on Go-Pay service users in Jambi City and data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement using SmartPLS software. To see the role of lifestyle in mediating the influence of digital transaction service innovation on Go-Pay service user decisions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload on employee performance with flexibility of working hours as an intervening variable in PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an analysis technique using SMARTPLS version 4.0. The sample in this study consisted of 40 employees selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that workload has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The flexibility of working hours also plays a role as a mediating variable that optimizes the influence of workload on performance. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing a balanced workload policy and flexibility in managing working hours to improve employee productivity and well-being.

Abstract

The challenge for business people in the era of globalization is to be able to survive and have an advantage over competition. Consumers' consumption patterns have shifted from shopping at conventional stores to online stores. Social commerce marketing is the best marketing strategy to do at this time considering that with internet use there is more focus on social media. Jambi Batik products are typical products from Jambi Province because their motifs and colors are the first impression for consumers when choosing a product. In online transactions, consumers need confidence that Batik Jambi products meet their expectations. Marketing strategies that implement social commerce marketing need to have support from communication channels through social presence from customers to help attract new or existing consumers to make repeat purchases. The objectives of this research are (1) to examine social commerce marketing on continuous purchase intention; (2) examine the influence of social commerce marketing on social presence; (3) examine the influence of social presence on continuous purchase intention; (4) examine the role of social presence as a mediating influence of social commerce marketing on continuous purchase intention. The research is research using quantitative methods, where data is collected through surveys and distribution of questionnaires and data measurement is based on measurement instruments from questionnaire data obtained from respondents. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurements using SmartPLS software. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyse the effect of workload on job satisfaction with work-life balance asan intervening variable at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Jambi Branch. Thisresearch uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques by distributingquestionnaires to 77 respondents. Hypothesis testing using descriptive analysis techniquesusing the SmartPLS tool. The results of this study indicate that (1) workload has a positive andsignificant effect on job satisfaction. (2) Workload has a significant effect on work-life balance.(3) Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (4) Workload hasa significant effect on job satisfaction through work-life balance as an intervening variable.Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Workload, Work-life balance

Abstract

The growth of the creative industry in Indonesia has become a pillar in the economy, this phenomenon has illustrated that human resources have the potential to be ready for competitiveness towards foreign countries. Marketing through online media has become an idol for business actors, in addition to being very easy to use, it is supported by small promotional costs. Managing information content on social media is very important, in addition to creating attraction, it also fosters consumer trust to choose to transact to buy a product. The objectives of this study are (1) To examine the influence of smart digital content marketing on purchasing decisions; (2) To examine the influence of smart digital content marketing on social proof; (3) To examine the influence of social proof on purchasing decisions; (4) To examine the role of social proof in mediating the influence of smart digital content marketing on purchasing decisions. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement using SmartPLS software. The results of the analysis show that Smart Digital Content Marketing has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. In addition, Social Proof also has a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions and mediates the relationship between Smart Digital Content Marketing and Purchasing Decisions. This finding confirms the importance of the presence of social proof as a reinforcement of the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies in driving consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kompetensi sebagai variabel moderasi pada Kantor Tanaman Pangan Holtikultura dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Bungo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 121 pegawai dengan sampel sebanyak 93 responden yang diperoleh melalui rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, dan analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS 4.0 untuk menguji model pengukuran dan model struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi jabatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,883, nilai T-Statistic sebesar 19,662 (>1,96) dan P-values sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Sementara itu, kompetensi tidak berperan signifikan sebagai variabel moderasi, ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien jalur –0,033, T-Statistic sebesar 0,984 (<1,96) dan P-values sebesar 0,325 (>0,05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa promosi jabatan berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai, namun kompetensi belum mampu memperkuat hubungan tersebut. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa promosi jabatan perlu disesuaikan dengan tingkat kompetensi agar dapat memberikan dampak maksimal terhadap kinerja pegawai.
